How hard is PT 156?

Its questions are harder than most, and the curve makes up for it. LSAC sets each test's curve so a score means the same thing on every test: the harder the questions, the more you can miss for the same score. PT 156's curve is more forgiving than 91% of the new-format PrepTests, so expect a lower raw score than usual, not a lower LSAT score.

About PrepTest 156

Which section of PT 156 is experimental?

Section 1 (Reading Comprehension) is the experimental section on PrepTest 156. It's unscored: it's there so the test has four sections, like the real LSAT, but it doesn't count toward your score. The other three sections make up the 78 scored questions.

When is PT 156 from?

Most of PrepTest 156 was first given in July 2020. LSAC rebuilt it from two older tests, with no logic games: Sections 2–4 from PrepTest 94 (July 2020) and Section 1 from PrepTest 92 (June 2020).
