So, let's say that E got the proportions right. Wouldn't it still be wrong since some and most could both mean all, so you cannot weigh one over the other?
@JamesFoleno yeah if the sample size for generous parents is 100 and self centered 100 we know 51-100 generous parents are good parents where as we know 1-100 self centered parents are good parents. It could be that 53 generous parents are good parents where as 78 self centered parents are good parents both still meet the claims of the premises but in this scenario some of the self centered parents (78) are good parents is greater than most of the generous parents (53) who are good parents. This is why E isn't correct because in this exact scenario it is refuted.
@Ella12 Practice, my friend! I struggled too. It gets better with practice. Don't stress about time, just focus on understanding and getting it right. If you get it wrong, figure out why. That will help you get better. Good luck!
@hawaze I struggled with this a lot too! It might help to deeply review conditional and set logic and just do lots of untimed drills on conditional logic and confusing sufficient v necessary. I've seen lots of improvement doing that so hope this helps you too. Good luck!
I was confused because doesn't the order of chain matter? You cant be a good listener unless you're a self-centered parent first.. or can you switch the order of intersecting facts and it doesn't matter?
I ALMOST fell for A however, E I smelled out wasn't very relevant to the diagram. While yes, there are fewer self-centered parents than generous, that's not the point of the argument. Idk if that makes sense to you guys but for me, the way I'm gonna go about this in the future is sniffing out any irrelevant information and ruling it out with reason.
It took me 4 minutes 49 seconds but I eventually got it right. I was deciding between C and D completely forgot that Most is one directional not bi directional like some. Hopefully this will come faster and faster with practice..... hopefully.

On this exercise I noticed that I got rid of all the wrong answers much easier compared to other drills.

I took too long but I got it right the first time.
I fell into the A trap and then did blind review and got the right answer after applying lawgic.
