i thought i had this. they cooked me here. i chose B so confidently after knowing D was probably second best choice. geeg
literally. i chose A and got it correct and after watching the video im asking gemini to break down AC A because I just dont get it. The wording throws me off.
thank you for such a goated response. although i was able to get 4/5 here i also do struggle with this. i have times i do 4/5 and times i do 2/5 like the rest of us and it really comes down to what youre saying. trap answers that make us make assumptions are so hard to avoid. im guessing its why many people say that taking the lsat is literally a new way of thinking. we are learning to avoid something we've done all our lives, (make assumptions based on our knowledge of certain things, me saying this is me making one lmao) and are learning to just stick strictly to what we read. another reason someone like myself gets some wrong is i dont take the time to fully grasp what the stim is saying. id like to think i am pretty smart but always with words ive been behind. more complex words (to me, id assume to most of you they arent complex) throw me off soooo hard. well i had fun typing this as a little break. now back to it. best of luck to you all!
got it wrong but was able to get it right on BR before knowing the right answer. under timed pressure i always miss the small details

idk but i feel like i hardly learned anything from the foundations. sure i learned what a sentence is but idk after all the lessons id forget some of what we had learned and i just dont feel much stronger after that. however i do feel stronger after practicing questions more often.

I tend to compare alot so I see my friend who arent really studying working full times making $18/hr+ and I feel bad for working at a gym for $14/hr although I know its much better to do that $14/hr while stuyding to have the best results. Thanks again and I wish you the best on your lsat! Ofcourse we dont know eachother but from what I can tell about you I'm sure you will do just fine.

I'm currently studying for the LSAT—I just finished the Foundations section and I'm about to start Logical Reasoning. My goal is to take the LSAT in a few months so I have everything ready to apply for the upcoming cycle.
Right now, I'm home all day dedicating my time exclusively to the LSAT, but I'm looking to start working. I study about 3h a day so the time Im not studying isnt too productive aside from when I workout. I know I can study more but to be honest at around that 3 sometimes closer to 4hr mark I think Ive learned as much as I can for the day. I'm torn between two very different paths and would love to hear from anyone who has navigated a similar spot:
Option 1: A convenient, part-time job. It's close to home, very easy, and leaves me with plenty of time and mental energy to focus on studying. The downside is that it pays minimum wage and the experience won't really add anything to my resume. Its a gym front desk. Id do this for a few months and once I get a decent score on the LSAT I can then apply to the other job.
Option 2: An entry-level legal position. This would be full-time and offer much better pay and relevant legal experience. However, between the commute and the standard work hours, it would be a significantly heavier daily commitment alongside with the gym which I do 6x a week.
My main dilemma: Should I take the easy part-time job for now, lock in a good LSAT score over the next few months, and then pivot to applying for full-time legal jobs once the test is out of the way? Or is it genuinely manageable to work a full-time legal job while still making strong progress on the LSAT and maintaining a consistent workout routine? If anyone has any experience they can share, Id greatly appreciate it aswell!
damn im not sure if im getting burnt out for the day but the last questions were easy. this one not so much. i got it correct but went well over the time limit.
to be honest having known this before your diagnostic wouldnt have done much. diags are supposed to be cold where you have no knowledge on lsat questions. you wouldnt even know where you went wrong for most or what common traps you fell for.

but if it were completely random, the chances of the 5k being split up 2.5k to each group is very unlikely. one group will definitely get more than the other group. it could be by a lot or a little.
im still not sure i get it though. how is it ruling out genetic dispositions as an explanation. all it does is say that people with the genetic predisposition dont eat more iron than those without it. it doesnt say anything about the people with the genetic predisposition not getting parkinsons. im so lost
