When I'm trying to take drills, sometimes the customize buttons like difficulty and status don't respond when I click them. i.e I'd click to select hardest passages only but the difficulty is still on any. And sometimes I'd get click start for a random drill, but it doesn't take me to the drill. Instead I have to exit the drill settings page, and go access the drill I just made in the "in process" section. Usually both of these problems could be fixed with a quick refresh of the page, but it happens very frequently and its quite annoying.
Hi everyone! I’m new to the 7Sage platform. I actually used it briefly before the big update last April when I first started studying for the LSAT, so I’m familiar with the test itself. That said, I’m now coming back to it and essentially restarting Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension (really trying to understand each question type and why they function the way they do), and then moving into a practice block with about 10 weeks to go before the June LSAT. (Feeling like 10 weeks of practice won't be nearly enough...)
I’m finding it a bit difficult to gauge whether the amount of work I’m doing is enough. I tend to second-guess myself and get stuck in my own head, wondering, do I really understand this question type? I know that some of this is theory-based and that improvement comes with time and exposure, but I’m struggling with the feeling that I’m not doing enough—even when I’m sticking to my plan.
I’m currently studying about 1–2 hours a day while also completing a post-grad accounting program and job searching, so my schedule is pretty full. I’m also paying for the monthly subscription (unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a fee waiver), so I really want to make sure I’m using the platform effectively.
For those of you who’ve been through this: how do you supplement question types into your study plan (I know drilling is SUPER important)? Any tips or reassurance would be really appreciated. And if anyone has taken the LSAT using the 7Sage platform for studying, I’d especially love to hear about your experience.
Thanks so much in advance!
I completed my theory section in December and have been drilling. But today, when I logged in, the theory section shows 72% complete. Is it a glitch or has new stuff been added that I need to complete?
Hey guys! I don't really know what else to say but I feel like im psyching myself out about the LSAT. I have these really high goals with a lot riding on it as if i do not get a scholarship, I don't know how im going to pay for law school. I guess I'm just looking for some advice. Its early in my LSAT journey and im planning on testing in June and then again in August if necessary.
Hi, I'm new to this and still trying to find my way. I want to start studying for the LSAT and have signed up for a plan with 7sage. I've looked at other sites and have found everyone requires LawHub Advantage. I feel stupid asking but what does purchasing LHA give you within 7sage? Because I'm subscribed right now to just 7sage and can access prep-tests, drills and practices. I'm trying to understand, am I missing something? If so I've no problem purchasing if that's what's needed, but I wanted to be sure. Thank you.
HI! I'm taking the exam in February, so I'm trying to get ready with regular PTs. People have mentioned exam-day routines and warm-ups. Can anyone share what they do to get ready for an exam/PT and what, if any, warm up questions or drills you do? Thank you sm!!
Hey y'all, I finished sitting my LSAT today, I think I did well, but I found that time was taken away from me because the proctor was speaking loudly inside the testing room.
The official time to begin was 8am, but we were allowed a staggered start, so those who came in at 7.30am were allowed to start at 7.30am, and I believe someone people were allowed to come in later too after 8am. So there was people coming in during the time I was completing the first two sections. The proctor was bringing people into the room and talking to them in her normal speaking voice (not whispering) and providing instructions. I could hear her through my noise cancelling earmuffs provided by the centre.
I had to re-read a few stims 2 or 3 times because her speaking loudly interfered with my thinking process, so I lost time that way. I still managed to finish and complete all the questions, but I dont think she should have been talking loudly like that at all - also the staggered entry was weird too, is that how its normally done at testing centres? During the 10 min break, I went to the ladies at reception and asked them to advice the proctor to use her inside voice or whisper, and they said she will. But she was just as loud and interruptive for the last 3 sections as she was for the first two.
If all of the above is normal of testing centres I would have just taken the test at home.
Has anyone taken the LSAT at a Prometric testing center in the NYC area, specifically the Manhattan or Brooklyn locations?
I’m curious about what the testing experience was like. I’m very sensitive to background noise, and I’ve heard that people may be entering and leaving the testing room throughout the exam, with proctors also speaking to other test-takers inside the room. Was that your experience?
I’d really appreciate any insight. I'm taking the LSAT in February and just thinking about either in-person or remote testing.
I asked a question a few days ago and haven't received a response. I thought I was supposed to receive a response in 24-48 hours but maybe I'm wrong?!
Which sections of the core curriculum are associated with conditional reasoning? I have it as my highest priority but I'm not sure which lessons correspond. Or is it all of them?
Hey- do y’all find the phone app kinda hard to use?
I really wanna use it bc I’m working full time and wanna get some practice here and there but every time I open it, the app lags until I exit the app and restart.
Has anyone else found a solution or is this just a problem with my phone?
Hi! I'm looking to study reading comp only on 7sage and I wanted to personalize my study plan to skip LR and just do Foundations and RC. However, in the first few foundations lessons it says you guys recommend doing the "Most Strongly Supported Questions" module in the Logical Reasoning unit before going to Reading Comprehension. Should I hold off on cutting out my LR sections then? Or just do this one and it's fine to cut out the rest of LR? How much of the RC lessons rely on the LR modules? Please let me know!
i tried to use the contact support buttonbut it didnt work for me. my BR listed all 25 qs to review. this is the first time its happened. can someone from it check on this for me? thank you!
Good luck to everyone testing this week. Tomorrow kicks off a big one for a lot of us, and no matter where you’re at in your prep, you’ve already put in real work just getting here.
Quick reminder before go-time: trust your process, don’t overthink early mistakes, and stay present one question at a time. Skip when you need to, breathe between sections, and remember that one tough passage or question never defines your score.
Wishing everyone calm nerves, clear focus, and a little luck when it counts. See you all on the other side 🙏
I'm looking for ways to improve 7Sage's community features—especially study groups. If you're in a study group (whether on 7Sage or elsewhere) and you're willing to talk to me for half an hour, could you reply in the comments? I'll chat you to set up a time.
To thank you for your time, we'll give all participants a $25 Amazon gift card.
Is there a reason the study plan is not including any of the progress I have made in my analytics? Is there something I did not turn off when establishing the beta study plan tool?
I would like to be able to track progress in specific question types based on my progress in the study plan.
Hey all! I have been taking notes on the lessons as I go but I was wondering if there was a way to export them so I could review them independently or if there was a way to view them with a nicer format? The tagging system used is really not helping me and I wish I could organize it like a google doc or notability and just have it integrated.
Has anyone found a way to export or organize them better or should I just start using a different note taking system?
HI!
I watched an introductory video on 7sage which gave an explanation on each of the services 7sage provides. I am doing the self-guided study plan which I have been loving so I far I just need to commit and prioritize studying more.
However, I am trying to determine when to incorporate the live classes feature into my studying. The introductory video I watched didn't really specify when you should start utilizing the live classes during the self-guided study plan. Should I wait until i get into the practice portion of the study plan, when I am doing drills and practice tests to join live classes?
I did Princeton Review in the past so I am use to a live course program which is the complete opposite of self-guided. It puts you on a required schedule that you have to follow, so every lesson was a live class.
I want to be able to utilize the live classes feature on 7sage but I am not sure when to incorporate it. Any advice from any instructors or students who are also doing a self-guided study plan would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
Is there any way to delete all my 7sage history to start all over again? Drills, sections, PTs. Is there any way of doing this? I would like to through everything again
Dear reader! As many of you know (and may fear), the January LSAT date is fast approaching this week. I am feeling unmotivated and anxious about my exam, as I am still averaging a few points from my ideal score (170). I am trying to strike a balance of being realistic with myself, but also wanting to do the very best I can. I know that there is no magic wand that can change my score at this point, but I was hoping someone with similar experience can lend a few tips and tricks for going into this week.
I've been studying every day since September, and I think I am starting to accept that I will not be able to get over the mid-160s hump. I've improved a lot since then, so while I am a little disappointed, I am trying to focus on the positives and appreciate my progress! I do notice the greatest drop in score when I am not feeling confident, and I would ideally just like to score at the higher end of my averages. Does anyone have any advice on how to feel my best going into the test? How to just be stable and perform as usual?
In any case, this can be a space to vent/stress/encourage one another :-) let's all do well for January! Thanks in advance!
Registered for the January LSAT, taking it in less than 4 days. It's not my first time taking it, but I wanted to know what high scorers did in preparation so close to the test. Should I do another PT, keep it light and just do drills? Sections? Review WAJ? Goal is 165.
Would appreciate any tips and tricks, also ways in which to keep the nerves down (it doesn't get easier)
Good Luck to the January test takers!!
I am a full-time university student with a demanding management job, a relationship, family commitments, and just life stuff in general. I've been trying so hard to balance everything and focus on my LSAT prep, but it is just so draining at times. No matter what I do or how many sacrifices I make, I feel like I never have enough time. And when I push through regardless of my exhaustion, I end up doing poorly on everything I'm trying to balance. Any advice to deal with this kind of lifestyle?
Took my first Prep Test about a month ago and got a 144. Today I took my second one and received 151. While it is low it is closer to my goal of 165+. I plan on taking the LSAT in April. Any tips to improve my score?
What just happened in the discussion posts? O.o
