there's a chat tab you can click in the top right of the screen, near the notifications, streak, profile button, etc. you can click the chat button to get to it
actual passage from hell. singlehandedly dumped my real AND blind review scores. learning opportunity I suppose
I'm taking a 1 passage RC drill and trying to submit, but I can't see the button anywhere when I click Review. Is it missing, or in a new place? or am I just ignoring something obvious?
I'm currently reviewing a PT, but the UI is glitching out and making it slightly difficult. Whenever I open the tester, it seems fine, but as soon as I try to use the highlighter feature, the page seems to begin loading, in that I can see the blue bar at the top of the screen that seems to indicate that something is loading. While this happens, clicking on any question at the bottom, the next/back buttons, or using the highlighter don't work. The only way to stop it is to reload the page, which brings me to question 4 of the section I'm on. Whenever I try to return to question 3 (the question I am currently actually reviewing,) the loading begins then as well regardless of if anything else is clicked or not. I've never had this problem before, and my computer works fine and is very fast. What could be causing this? I've already tried clearing the cache, restarting my computer, turning off extensions, etc
edit: the issue seems to be specifically occurring whenever I try to go to PT 150 S3 Q3 ... I am able to click through all the other questions with no issue
Try to perfect your performance on the first 10 questions, as they're often considered the most easy, and the closest thing you can get to free points. Having missed 4 LR questions total between S1 and S3 within the first 10, I feel like there's definitely points on the table that you could easily get. Review those ones thoroughly, since fixing the issues that cause mistakes in the easy questions can often eventually translate to fixing mistakes that occur in the difficult questions.
IIRC LSAC allows you to have 4 uploaded total .. so if you have the space and want insurance in case your professors never end up writing them, it might be a good idea to have two professional ones on standby.
@monmon haha yup .. we're definitely thinking about the same user then :p I actually checked out the website (that used to be) in their profile out of curiosity a week or two ago, and the entire thing looked like it was made with AI anyway. Most of the buttons were completely broken.
I escaped my sub-160 plateau a few months ago and graduated into high 160s, but now I've been consistently scoring within just a few points of 170. I did manage to recently get one 172 on a PT (and a humiliating 162), but I attribute both primarily to luck (or lack thereof). Excluding such outliers, my recent scores in order from old to new have been 166, 166, 169, 168.
I am very interested in hearing others' tips, approaches, methods, or perspectives on how to consistently break into the 170s.
Also, I'm currently registered for the September LSAT, and I would like to be 170+ capable by then. Is this a realistic goal? At the moment, my schedule is taking 1 PT at the end of every week, up until the test date, (5 full tests left as of today, to be spread evenly over the next 5 weeks) and review of old material/sections/drilling in between PTs.

I really love the video explanations on 7sage, but I feel like the comparative passage explanations fall short of many of the others. I know it's naturally hard to make explanations for them because of the way they're written, but I still really dislike the approach of two separate videos for each passage, and no individual segments for singular questions.
Lol....and I thought the pervious changes were bad. This one takes the cake. Absolutely wretched for me and certainly many others, since I like to highlight as I read. Having to stop my flow in order to select the cumbersome highlight button will do nothing but waste time and cause people to lose focus. I'd guess LSAC is doing this purposefully to make people perform worse to keep scores lower.
@SerinJ I agree with your recommendation for doing drills of solely level 1/2 questions. I often do them for a similar purpose, while also having the drills include ~30+ questions in order to work on stamina at the same time.
It probably doesn't matter too much IMO. Anyone can get a high score with either approach. I would probably recommend choosing whichever approach feels most comfortable/performs best for YOU specifically. I personally like reading the stem first, so I can sort of get in the "mood" of what I need to do for a certain question.
@RobertCarlson Thank you for this! C tricked me because I thought that evidence in favor of the species-energy hypothesis would hurt the ROS hypothesis, but it seems I didn't consider that they could both be true at the same time.
@AOnifade I would also love to see this. I commute to school a lot, and around the northeast US in general, and I constantly think about how useful that time would be if I could study LSAT during it.
LSAC recently announced that they would be making "minor interface changes" to LSAT tests starting in August. Will such changes be reflected on 7sage's UI in the coming months? I've seen demos of the changes on Reddit, and they are certainly different than the current interface. Personally I'm not a fan, so I'd like to get accustomed to it as quickly as possible, since there's no avoiding it.
What I (re)learned from this is that keywords can't carry you 100% of the way. Focusing on things like "only if" and "not" doesn't work every time. In this case, the reasoning flaw itself is what denotes the correct answer, rather than just the mechanics of the language.
I remember researching this a little bit a while ago, I found a site that compared the scoring for all available prep tests. I think you're right that newer ones are harder, since apparently newer tests are stingier with 170+s than the older ones are.
I'd definitely recommend going through newer stuff before your Feb test if possible, since they will be more representative of current tests regardless of scoring.
@JDMarathon yeah it glitches out like that sometimes. try pulling the scroll bar down to the bottom. if it jerks back up, keep pulling the scroll bar down until it stays. thats the only way I know to solve it
