What I (re)learned from this is that keywords can't carry you 100% of the way. Focusing on things like "only if" and "not" doesn't work every time. In this case, the reasoning flaw itself is what denotes the correct answer, rather than just the mechanics of the language.
I remember researching this a little bit a while ago, I found a site that compared the scoring for all available prep tests. I think you're right that newer ones are harder, since apparently newer tests are stingier with 170+s than the older ones are.
I'd definitely recommend going through newer stuff before your Feb test if possible, since they will be more representative of current tests regardless of scoring.
this question wouldn't be as hard as it was if we didn't have to interpret it as there being a SINGLE (1) [one] law regarding campaign finance in Weston :|
"D? no thanks...only a bumbling beginner would fall for an obvious trap like that!"
this may be one of the single most enlightening lessons on the entire site
well...now I'll be irrationally afraid of misinterpretation questions :p
@km928 omg I literally read it like three times over during my attempt and still read "doesn't" each time 😭😭😭
the word "constitution" in B tripped me up. I was thinking of an actual constitutional document 😭 bad time to be taking conlaw ig
him saying that this is one of the most tempting traps in RC makes me feel better about choosing D but this questions still makes me want to cry 😭😭😭 level 6 ass question
@jwn1060 I really like the speed limit analogy, thanks for that!
remember: a level one question is worth as many points as a level five question. every correct answer is a win 🥶
@TheBigFatPanda I agree. A lot of these MSS questions kinda do, but I honestly thought this one was an SA lol
mega logic chain in the stimulus AND THEN the right answer is a contrapositive??? 😢
@Richard Santa-Cruz I think it's random; everybody gets 5 randomly chosen MMS questions
got this one in like 2/3 target time but missed 1, 3, and 4 ☹️
☹️
LSAC gotta be stopped dawg
