Hello! I'm having a really hard time answering all the questions within 35 minutes. I tend to run out of time during RC and sometimes, LG. I score significantly better when I blind review and I know I could do a lot better if I just had maybe 5 more minutes with every section. I honestly feel capable enough to answer each question type but I tend to get them wrong because I feel rushed. During BR, I realize that if I wasn't so rushed, I would have gotten a lot more questions correct.

Any advice on how you manage your time during your PTs or how to not let the clock give you anxiety? This is single-handily the reason why I've always done so bad with exams. Thanks :)

I'm in the middle of Week 3 for studying and just finished the core curriculum for the Logical Reasoning section (learning all the question types and going through all the lessons). The next step in my study scheduler is to begin going through the lessons for Reading Comprehension. Should I put LR aside for now and go onto RC and LG (learning all the fundamentals and going through all the lessons) and then begin practicing and improving each section or should I try to drill and work on mastering LR first before moving on to the next sections? When does taking full PTs come into the picture?

Proctor U

#Help

Hey guys, I got some Qs regarding ProctorU.

So I just registered for the October Test and am kinda confused about what to do with Proctor U. I tried to signup and it won't let me choose LSAC for Institution. I did some research and it says I will receive an email from LSAC later then I can use that link to sign up for Proctor U? Am I correct?

If you're ready to get more practice taking a full LSAT Prep Test under simulated online proctor conditions, you're in the right place. On Saturday June 3rd, at 1 pm ET, we are offering a simulated remotely proctored PrepTest to better prepare for the June exam, or any LSAT in the future! Here's how our Proctored PTs work:

Register using this link: https://7sage.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwocu-vrj4oGNZlNu89XJ8X9gyN1riIcBxm

Once you sign up, you'll receive an email from Zoom with the link to join the meeting.

Select a PT that you want to take for the proctored test. This can be any PT; we recommend one that you haven't seen yet and that is at least as recent as PT 50. You can take the PT through 7Sage, or, if you want to simulate real test-day conditions, you can log into LawHub and take it there.

Show up to the Zoom meeting 10 minutes before the scheduled start time (1:00 pm ET). You will all be prompted to complete a room scan at the same time (just as you will have to do on actual test day) and then put into a breakout room by yourself to complete the test.

Our 7Sage Proctor will monitor the testing process for the duration of your test and even simulate a pesky interruption. The Proctor will ask if anyone would like to be interrupted at the beginning of the session, and you will have the chance to privately message your preference. If only the ProctorU proctors would be so kind as to ask! If you have any approved accommodations, please let us know via private chat at the beginning of the session, so you can test with those.

If you have any other questions, please email bailey.luber@7sage.com. We hope to see you there!

I just started studying for the LSAT. It has been a week now. I am in the logical reasoning section of the study plan. I watch the videos and get to the drills and miss most of the questions then get frustrated, annoyed, and all the above. What is a way to combat this? I quickly get discouraged and want to give up thinking that this is not for me. What does everyone suggest?

I'm using MacOS 13.3.1 in the most up to date version of Safari, and the user interface is not loading properly for my practice sets and Syllabus. I can select answer choices and read all of the questions, but none of the tools are displaying at the top and nor are the Home/Next buttons at the bottom displaying. I've also tried Chrome with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I sent in my fee waiver approval form at the end of April to avoid any disruptions (i'm taking june) and it hasn't been applied to my account. Does anyone know if the 7sage team is working today? I was planning on taking a practice test today but can't access anything :(

Maybe i'll be able to get a refund if i purchase it for the month so I don't have to miss out on a day of studying?

If some clouds are black and it's humid, then it will rain.

I have it notated as follows:

C(-s-)B + H -> R

My question is - can you even take a contrapositive of this statement?

And if so, is it the following:

/R -> /H or C->/B

In other words:

If it is not raining, then it means either it is not humid or all clouds are not black...

Am i correct in thinking this?

I started studying for the LSAT in December, I grinded on it for like 4 hours a day for the next 5 months until I took the April LSAT. After finishing the CC, my study plan was to take Full PTs everyday because I am competitive and that is how I could get myself juiced up to study, just like in golf, I hate going to the driving range, but I love playing because every round starts with the chance to beat my high score. I took a total of 45 full PTS before taking the April LSAT, my PT average got to be a 174, with 3 179's mixed in there. I felt really good coming out of the real LSAT, with only one question I was not feeling confident about I was feeling like I might have scored a 180, but alas it was not to be. My score came back as a 171, I still have no idea what happened, in my PTs I almost always have a feeling when I am not certain of a question, all of my wrong answers are usually ones I flagged, even if I still get it wrong in BR. I really wish they showed which section the wrong answers came from for my personal sanity. Anyways, I had already taken off 3 weeks between the test and the score release, and the next day after getting my score back I scored a 177. I figured I still know what I know, and that I would just take it easy until the June LSAT and see what happens. 3 weeks after the last test I took, today I got my first 180. I think the time off has really given me time to compress all of my knowledge and feel a lot more confident when looking at questions. The questions all feel a lot more simple, my thought process is much quicker.

Who knows what will happen on the June LSAT, but the point is that sometimes less is more, and don't stress over breaks because you aren't going to lose your progress, it will stick with you, and you might even improve.

I recently broke into my goal score of 172-3 last week on 3 PTs (88,92,93) and had been getting 166-168 before that but this week I took two PTs (85/87) and both of them I dropped down to 165-66...I'm taking the June exam and I'm so nervous...I usually don't really have an issue with timing (have 2-5 minutes after sections to go back and review) but on PT85 and 87 I had such a big problem with timing to the point that I had just 30 seconds left to answer the last LR and RC questions.

On PT85 I had gotten -2 on RC but -6/-7 on each LR sections while I got -7 on RC and -2/-6 on LR for PT87. LR and RC tend to be my weaker spots but usually at MOST I would get -5 wrong. Even LG games where I tend to get 0 wrong, I got up to 2 wrong.

I've been studying 2-3hrs everyday (I work full time) since February but had been studying 6 days a week since October. I usually take a PT every Sunday but have ramped it up to every Sat + Sun since last month. My weekday study schedule is switching between 2 timed LR sections + 2 RC passages + 1 LG game and 2 timed RC sections + 15 LR Q + 1 LG game.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong....I wasn't able to study as hard as usual this week because of work commitments but I still feel like a 7pt drop is pretty substantial.

Please if anyone has any insights to why such fluctuations happen, how to overcome, best practices, anything -- would appreciate it

I am consistently hitting the high 150s, but my BR score is in the 170's consistently. Are there any methods to close the gap between these two scores? I feel like I'm choking very hard when the actual exam happens, because during BR the right answer speaks to me way more than during test time. Perhaps its because I've seen the stimulus before, but I'm not quite sure what to do!

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Withdrawing your registration will prevent an absentee notation from appearing on your LSAC file.

Given the expressed preference of the substantial majority of test takers, the LSAC will continue to provide the LSAT in an online, live remote-proctored format.

Hi guys! I saw that LSAC just released registration for the rest of the 2023 and 2024 LSAT dates. They've given a remote option and a testing center option.Has anyone on here taken an LSAT at a testing center, and if so how did that go? I can't decide if remote or the center would be best. Thanks!

I have yet to sit down and do full length PTs. I've been studying using the drill feature - so I'll do 2 games, 1/2 LR, 2 passages, etc. - and I'll complete parts of the PT little by little. I completed all sections of PT 70, but still unable to see my score?

Can I only see my score when I sit down and do full length PTs? Or will I only see my scores if I study going Practice > PrepTests > doing 1 section at a time?

I want to keep track of my PT scores without doing full PTs just yet and utilizing the drill feature. Can anyone help? Thanks!
