Oftentimes, I do one of these questions, and I get it wrong, but I then do the blind review and get it right 😭 I need to be quicker and less hesitant when I'm answering these

I got a 4/5 on the first attempt, then got a 2/5 on the blind review because I second-guessed my answers, but one of the two questions I got right on the blind review was the one I got incorrect the first time 😭

4/5 on my first attempt, #4 is really tripping me up

For the Q5 referential "those", why is it just "novels" rather than "successful novels?" Is it just that the detail of successful is an unnecessary modifier that doesn't need to be pointed out?

@rjon27 I did the same thing -- I think I keep having trouble with the questions that focus on an argument's vulnerability to criticism, because I keep thinking that the answer has to be irrelevant, but COULD be relevant (even though it isn't). Reviewing the explanation helped me understand that I need to look at these questions differently than how I have been looking at them recently.

@SamuelForeman Only Claim 3 would be considered a major premise, since it was previously the main conclusion until Claims 4 and 5 were introduced. Claim 4 would only be considered a premise since it supports Claim 5 but cannot be supported by other previously made claims.

@LSATspecialist I got confused on this question as well for this reason, but the way that I've looked at it is that the "If such a business introduced minor variation..." and the "Furthermore, variations in operating systems software can..." are secondary conclusions that are expanding on the main conclusion of "Therefore, it is advisable for businesses to implement such variations." <- this may be the wrong way to go about this, but dividing it up like this helped me better understand the problem
