i struggle with these types of questions so much
I think the assumption for D was more that people who raised tobacco would like it and want to smoke it. I didn't think it's purely chosen by people who think it's good.
it's a little bit absurd how much of the LSAT is just matchy matchy
why isnt several considered some? #help (Added by admin)
I diagrammed this correctly but for some reason I had such a difficult time translating the last answer choice
Why was J.Y. absolutely cookin the author of the stimulus...."idiot" "dumb ass" like damn i would be so scared to meet this man in real life LMAOOOO
is this an argument or just a set of premises? #help

i got this correct but then changed it to the wrong thing. does that usually just mean I need to not doubt my reasoning?

What is the difference between PSA and strengthen? How do you know the difference between them when it comes to question stems? #help
question dragged me by the hair and beat me down
wait, I thought "not many" implied "not some." Since when did "many" imply "most"? #help #feedback
I am doing these untimed for now, and am taking double the time I should be taking for sets. Does anyone know if this naturally gets faster as your comprehension increases? I am getting them mostly all correct untimed, but I worry about my speed not increasing, although I want to really focus on developing the strategies as habit. #help
is there a way to do these problems before the lesson? or is the purpose to not answer beforehand? #help
all of these hard questions just seem like you need to be in line with a certain way of thinking...they all just seem so controversial to me and they all seem to go against everything I've learned thus far :(
why would we not address the actual conclusion of the argument? isn't the conclusion about FUNDING, and why it wouldn't warrant funding to protect the planet from meteorite strikes?
for me, i reasoned that lack of evidence does not imply evidence of lacking, and that's the case for the first one. just because <1% smoked doesn't mean its evidence that the ads dont affect smoking with CERTAINTY. then in the parallel answer, the same lack of evidence was trying to be pushed onto us, saying that because only 1,000 dolphins don't show the effect of the mercury, we can't conclude with certainty that mercury has no effect. i could be wrong in this thinking, though.
the way they always try to bamboozle you into not choosing the correct answer by using complicated language...this is just like being in a voting booth fr
I feel that the hardest thing about these questions are remembering that answer choices can be powerful and to avoid just restating the premises, and so this allows us to make reasonable inferences/jumps when answering in a way that's not the case for necessary assumption. I am so scared of choosing really powerful answers because I'm so used to most answers having to follow the exact wording of the stimulus/having to stick close to the stimulus.
insane question and yet more evidence this test is evil
just to let you guys know, this is a very controversial question and statements had to be released on it lol
LOL I just finished doing a section untimed where this was VERY important
Do you have to understand necessary assumption to get this question? Because I'm having a super difficult time with it.
