this is the best end to LR I couldve ever asked for
I'm loving that it's becoming intuitive in my head to see the similarities. These are being explained well.
Use the short dip analysis! Don't fully analyze every single one, hunt for the first tip that would tell you the answer is wrong
Wait the strategy you taught us works so well thanks!
Is there not just an answer choice that says "wtf is she saying"
What a strange question
If it wasn't okay for it to be general then it wouldn't be the answer, right? If I'm hesitant because an AC is too general I compare it to the others to see if they address it better, and if they don't, then I stick with the general one.
why would they do that to the owls man
Struggled on the you trys but got 5/5 here! Maybe i need to ramp up the difficulty lol
never once in my life have I heard the word obtain used in this way
Lol I highly underestimated how in depth these type of questions would be
I didn't understand this for the longest time because I had forgotten what hasten meant lol
I like the negating the answer strategy. It works every time. Just sometimes it takes longer.
I hate when I get a question wrong because I didn't read the answer choices thoroughly enough because once I do read them well after I've gotten it wrong I want to slap myself
That means you're getting better at them!
4/5 on hard and I blind reviewed the one I got wrong to the correct one LETS GOOO
small spotted trinidadian guppies catching enormous strays
JY sometimes loves to not explain why I was wrong and instead brushes it off as "well it doesn't answer the question" please tell me why so I can learn!
I hate questions like this where none of the answers are the ideal answer and you cannot be confident in choosing your answer, even if it's the "most correct" one
Don't quit, but the drills are usually harder than the ones he gives us. The ones he gives us are supposed to teach a lesson in my eyes, whereas the drills are to test the lessons we've learned. Personally, I've switched to putting more priority on the end of section drills and additional drilling, because on those you can test yourself better with harder questions that he really isn't giving us very often.
I'm glad JY prefaced this by saying "this is weirdly written and probably you won't see anything like this again" because that reduced my frustration to getting it wrong. I read this one 5 times before I chose an answer.
Yeah definitely some overexplaining, but for questions like this where I am absolutely certain I was correct and was, I generally skip the explanations unless I skim by a term I don't remember
Dang I love these. Really just go with your instinct and what sounds most similar and youll get it. I try not to overthink these AT ALL.
