Hi all,

My PT score does not reflect my drill score. I consistently get -0 to -3 on individual LR timed sections (some of these are older tests, some are fairly new). On full PT LR sections, I get around -5/-6, regardless of the order of sections. There have been only a select few times I've gotten -3 or better on LR PTs, but those were a few months ago.

BR score for LR is usually -1/-3, so I don't think it's a lack of comprehension or understanding of the material...

Any tips on getting my PT score to better reflect my drilling score? I suspect it's a matter of PT stress, but are there any other major reasons you think there's a difference that I'm overlooking?

Advice much appreciated, thanks!

Hi! I'm looking for a study buddy to keep accountable with. I'm currently working on my undergrad in Chinese Language and hoping to take the LSAT in April. I'm on Eastern Standard Time.

My goal score is mid to high 170s. My current study plan is to do 2 preptests a week and wrong answer journal.

Whatsapp for communication is my preference, but I also have Discord. Anyone who is interested, please DM me!

April LSAT?

Study buddies interested in studying together for the April LSAT - Please respond below. Hopefully we can get a discord created or if you want in person, anybody who is NY based?

In the Practice > Drills option, there are options to pull your questions from the Core Curriculum set, the practice tests that 7Sage recommends for drilling, and the set 7Sage recommends for practice tests.

Do people generally complete all of the questions in the Core Curriculum set before moving on to drilling or practice tests? Or does it not really matter? I want to make sure I have a good balance of exposing myself to questions as I digest the Core Curriculum, while also having enough new questions to use in the future for drilling and clean practice tests.

Combining Different Platforms

Hello!

I'm looking for advice on how to combine several platforms. I currently have the Live (middle) plan with 7Sage, and I am also using the PowerScore Bibles.

I was also hoping to incorporate both the prep tests on 7Sage and on LawHub but I am not sure how to work with these all in tandem.

Any advice on how to maximize these altogether, and when to start taking prep tests? I just began my studying and will be taking the LSAT in June 2025.

Addendum ?

hi all. I wrote an addendum to explain failing a P/F class in freshman year. Not an excuse, but the program I was in was notoriously known for disorganization and lack of support. This along with some other factors including a grandparents death and hard transition to college, contributed to the grade. I said how I raised my grades after and my GPA went up. Is it okay to explain this even though it may look like I'm making an excuse for my performance? I don't want to raise attention to it too much and give the admin team any red flags.

Printing PTs

I'm taking the test remotely and wanted to practice on paper. Does anyone know if/how I can print PTs, and whether I can input my answers so it doesn't affect my analytics?

I'm (30F) registered to re-take the LSAT in January after scoring a 161 previously. Find me studying in a DC Public Library, Georgetown university, and coffee shops in downtown D.C. I have a plethora of organized study prep materials and would love too have someone join me at my study table!

If any of you live in DC - MD - NOVA leave a comment below to connect!

I took the November LSAT and scored a 156. This is pretty much on parr with what I was prep-testing and it was the highest score I had gotten on a prep-test, so I was mildly happy with it, until I saw the LSAT range for my top schools went up. I am having a hard time because although my GPA is a 3.68 and I have good recommendations, I still worry I wont get in. However, I entertained retaking the LSAT in January, but it would be after a long holiday break, and I work 2 jobs so the amount of studying I would get in before that time may not be worth waiting another month to apply. I need some advice on whether to use my current score and just hope for the best, making the rest of my applications stand out, or if I should retake in January and see what happens?

Hi, I am reading Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman and he's talked about "conjunction fallacies" and "base rate fallacies" which are reminding me of some lsat questions I've seen before in logical reasoning. Does 7sage cover these fallacies at all in any explanation videos? They're definitely trickier than standard source attack or equivocation fallacies, and they are hard to understand sometimes. It seems like you need to know Bayes theorem to fully understand some of these concepts and I don't have any background in statistical math or probability theory

I am struggling to figure out what Link Assumption means! It is my top priority for improvement on my analytics page and I can not find any information on what this means #help!

Hey all,

I am currently signed up for the January LSAT. Recently, I've been stuck at the mid 150's score range for PTs, and I was wondering if you all had any tips that could get you out of a rut? I am aiming for 160+. Currently, I am just using the drill builder and attacking it from there..

Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello,

This isn't much of a technical problem but I was wondering if there's some way to reverse cancelling the Core membership. I cancelled mine but have decided I want to keep it for a few months. It expires Dec 12 and there's no button to reverse or re-subscribe for another month of the Core membership. I'm worried that if I let it expire then it'll get rid of all my PT data.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Thank you!

So I’ve been using 7sage for a few months now, since August. While using it, I was scoring 153-158 in between those scores, and my blind review has been on the higher end in the 156-158 range. I decided to try the LR Loophole just to give myself a new perspective and i was only studying that this month and I thought it would’ve helped, but I just took a practice test and score a 151. I feel extremely discouraged, and that I wasted my time but I also think it could be that it was a lot of material that I covered this entire month and I neglected reading comprehension. I was planning on taking the January test with a goal of 160+ but now I’m not so sure. Does anyone know how to deal with this and what to do to improve? Also, should I still take the January exam with my goal score or push it to February but I think it’ll be too late for applications? I think I’m just going to switch back to 7sage because I was doing better.

LSAT Advice

Hi everyone! So I posted a few days ago disappointed with my low LSAT score of 151 after scoring in the 155-158 range previously, but I just reviewed the test (which, by the way, was harder than the previous tests I had completed) and I reviewed the first LR section, only the ones I got wrong, without looking at the correct answers and I ended up getting them all right after my review. Does this mean I have to work more on timing, and if so, how do I go about doing that effectively? I’m taking the January LSAT so any advice would be appreciated.

Hello friends!

I am currently applying to a law school in little rock and there is a section that is required, titled, "Statement of Uniqueness." This section says to explain any distinct experiences that I have encountered in my life and how I have grown from those specific aspects. I am a little confused because this section also has an area where you can say, "this section does not apply to me." What should I do? I don't necessarily have some super distinct experiences in my life, so is this necessary?

All help is much appreciated.

A lot of the example interview questions I've seen online seem to overlap with some of the content covered in essays (why law? why now? etc). Are there any tips to bring up new information/not sound too redundant?
