Basically what title says! I know I most likely want to register for the August test and since registration just opened a day ago I was wondering what the pros/cons are to registering early. I know when it opens up a couple weeks before test day really matters for picking time slots just didn't know the difference between if I register for the test now vs. in July or something lol. Thank you!
I just started 7sage 2 weeks ago and Im already done 100% of the foundations and just strating LR but i just noticed that V2 has been changed to not include the LG which i wont need since im taking the Sept LSAT. Im wondering if i should start over on V2 or just skip to LR on V2. Is there a huge difference in the foundations. im also confused as to why i cant switch and keep my progress. is it worth it for me to switch
I had months of data in the old format and now it's all inaccessible when I'm drilling in the new format. #help can someone on the team please help me transfer my data (questions taken at the very least) from the old format to the new format? The auto builder is useless without my LR data and I don't want to keep repeating questions in my drills
Hello everyone,
I am considering changing my test from June to August. I have been scoring in the low 160's and would like to score in 165-170. My highest PT was a 165. I have taken about 15 practice tests. Logic Games is my best section but not by that much, usually 4-6 questions are missed on average.
Given other posts and listening to some podcasts, it seems that the obvious choice is to push to August. In other words, if not achieving a goal score in PTs, push it to a later date.
I am hesitant about changing from June to August because I'd really like to just give the LSAT a go and see how it turns out. I know it seems naive, but I've been studying for 3-4 months and feel like I finally have the momentum to try it. Additionally, I don't know if I'll be able to mantain the same schedule that has allowed me to improve thus far.
I think I would be comfortable taking it again in August. Please let me know what you guys think and happy to answer any follow-up questions in the comments. Thank you in advance for your suggestions and guidance, it does mean a lot.
Does anyone want to be a study buddy?
Hi,
I am a new user of 7Sage and was wondering why most of the lessons for logic in the foundations unit are missing videos. Is this a new section that has not had videos made for it yet? Thanks!
Can someone explain to me the difference between those two flaw types?
I don't know how else to describe it. I'm extremely worried that i'm going to finish all of these powerscore bibles and all of these early preptests like PT40-50 and then suddenly the sections are going to get way harder when I get into PT70-90. I already know that the RC gets harder on the more recent PT's which freaks me out. It makes me think all of this work I've done in the core curriculum etc is going to keep a good score out of my reach
Hi everyone! I took the LSAT in April and am now studying again for the June. I only need a few more points to get up to my goal score of 168, but I have been taking some sections in the PT80s and am feeling like I am getting worse. LR used to be okay for me (average -5ish) and with these particular PTs the questions I have missed have been much higher.
I'm not sure if this is some weird dip in my studying, or if this is just a result of the 80s LR being really weird. I would really appreciate some insight if anyone else is seeing this or if it is just a me problem. And if it is just a me problem, how others have overcome a dip in between tests. Thanks!
I'm just generally curious what people's daily schedules look like when they're trying to study on a daily basis. Moreover, I'm interested in ways people try to squeeze the most they can out of each day.
I'd like to see the notes and mark ups I made during a PT during BR. Particularly, I'd like to see the removed answer choices. Is there any way to enable this?
So, I'm curious what the most effective drill methods were for all of you. I'm giving myself 3 months to study and this is my first week of studying. I'm thinking right now to spend 1.5 hours of drilling a day but I'm curious how others have approached this and how effective you felt your method was... Thank you!
Hi Everyone,
Two weeks ago, I completed a diagnostic practice test. I went in blind, with little to none knowledge about the LSAT. Yet, I gave myself and extra 30 minutes for each section. Instead of 35 minutes, I had an hour and five minutes for each section. I scored a 148 and skipped the BR at the time, not knowing how important it was.
Minor digression here: (I spent my first two weeks of studying on the foundational section, and did about 3-4 drills. I realize now, that I probably wasn't getting enough practice in, and now aim to do more drills and timed and untimed sections as part of my weekly routine. I studied for about 30-35 hours over the course of the last two weeks. Right now, I'm at the grammar section of the foundations, about halfway through.) Okay, back to the test....
Just yesterday, I did another practice test. This time I gave myself the normal 35 minute window. I scored again a 148 and scored a 149 on the BR section. I didn't give myself enough time with the BR section, and learned my lesson.
I wanted to ask, is this a reasonable indication of progress in the last two weeks? I presume that by giving myself an extra 30 minutes to complete the first diagnostic test, that must of inflated my original number. What can I do next time to move forward, and have better and clearer indicators of progress?
This week I aim to continue the grammar section and logic section of the curriculum, on top of drilling, and doing one or two time and untimed sections. I also aim to review the recent exam over the course of the week, going over questions that I got wrong. Once I'm caught up reviewing the exam, I aim to take another test.
Hey everyone! I'd really appreciate some advice on this issue as I am scheduled to take the test in a few weeks and am really struggling with conditional mapping/translations. I have already read the conditional logic section of Loophole and done the majority of the 7sage lessons on conditional logic. I definitely understand the basics, but when it comes to mapping actual long and complicated sentences and linking conditions I am struggling. I either completely mess them up or when I do get them right I take way too long. In a perfect world, I'd have time to go through and re-watch every single 7sage video and do every single SA, NA, and parallel reasoning/flaw question there is, but I need to be practical since I only have a few weeks. As of right now I am just drilling and drilling and watching explanation videos when I get something incorrect in the hopes that it will click in time. If anyone has any recommendations or advice PLEASE let me know, I am desperate lol. Thanks!!
Hello! Hoping to connect with folks located in LA and/or South OC who are interested in holding each other accountable when it comes to LSAT studying. A little bit about me: I'm a Middle Eastern first-generation college graduate and law school applicant, class of 2021 alumna, and have been working in the legal industry for the past 3ish years. Currently working a full-time job as a Legal Assistant around the Burbank area, but find myself visiting family in South OC every few weekends so I am happy to get together virtually or in-person. The goal is to take the August exam and apply by end of October. I have completed the core curriculum section of the syllabus, the LSAT Trainer, and the Powerscore bibles, and am currently reading the Loophole in Logical Reasoning. I am hoping to just drill and take PTs up until exam date and hopefully break 170+. Let me know if interested and we can get a GroupMe or Discord going.
Happy studying!
I’m looking for a study buddy in the Dallas area. I am interning there this summer and will be living in the downtown area. If anyone is interested please reach out- I don’t care what you’re scoring or anything, it is more so for accountability and to work through hard questions with it.
Hey guys!
Looking for some advice :) I have been studying for about the past 8 months, and have gone from a diagnostic of 144 (-14 LG, -12 LR, -14 RC) to my most recent pt of 167 (-2 LG, -4 LR, -5 RC). I am shooting for a 170 on this June LSAT, which is 3 weeks away. I'm taking a break from work so that I can just go all in on studying. I've finished the entire 7sage syllabus (which is the main thing that has helped me so far), and am halfway through Reading Comp Hero.
What should I focus on for the next 3 weeks? Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)
Hey everyone!
I was wondering if others in the nyc area are interested in starting a study group? The invitation is also open to ideas for how to structure / get the most out of the group!
I’m based in Manhattan!

how do I increase my speed for each section? I get almost every single question right on the questions that I am able to get on the PT and also on the blind review but I do them sooooo slow. I've take 4 practice tests thus far
With LG being removed, I can't help but feel like LR in the Aug 24 test is going to be a bit more difficult. What are your thoughts? As someone that struggles with LR a little bit, I was debating whether to take the August or September LSAT in hopes of applying to Law schools by the end of October. Interested to hear your thoughts!
I just graduated from undergrad this weekend. I want to be a lawyer and go to law school. My final GPA was a 3.1. If I do really well on the LSAT, would I still be able to go to a T25/T30 school? I know it'll be a handicap in my application, but is there any chance?
I am registered to take the June 7 LSAT test, my first ever attempt. I have finished almost all of the circulum and took my first PT since by diagnostic which was 138 :(, I got the same mark on the PT but with blind review I got up to 157. Happy with the BR progess but does anyone have any tips on how I can translate this progress? I am aiming for eventually a 165 but also planning to take it again in August without the LG. Any tips or reccomendations are appreicated.
Is the June LSAT going to be 3 sections or 4 sections? I keep getting different answers and just wanted to make sure.
I recently took a cold diagnostic (I took the LSAT cold in Summar of '23... big mistake) without the LG section using the new 4-section format for this August. Scored a 171 timed, 172 BR. Is it worth it to go through the syllabus, or should I just spend the whole summer grinding out PT's and BRing? I'm thinking my time might be better spent that way, since the syllabus will likely cover a lot of stuff I've already got a grasp on.
