I had drafted my essays for Yale in 11pt font prior to reading that they require 12pt. Anyone have a perspective on how much wiggle room their "approximately" language provides? Feel free to comment or just respond to the poll below.

Hi there. I've been hearing conflicting things about this topic. From what I've heard, as long as you don't completely mess up, there;s a very good chance of getting into a Biglaw firm upon graduation at a T14 schools. I've heard, too, that it is likely to get into a Biglaw position at any T50 school, though the drawbacks sometimes is that you are limited in a regional sense. For example, Boston College sent many many students to Biglaw firms, but mainly in the Boston area. Thoughts on this? Trying to decide, as someone who wants to get into Biglaw after law school, whether I should even consider applying to schools outside the T14 or not. I've just heard conflicting things.

Hi all,

Is anyone else having issues with getting kicked out of PrepTests with plenty of time remaining? I've now been kicked out of three PrepTests all with at least 15 minutes remaining in a given section. This has become increasingly frustrating as it's not allowing me to get a valid score or accurately track my progress. If anyone has experienced this, please let me know if you found a solution.

Find assumption to make legit:

Kermit is a frog. Therefore, he love green long time.

Right: One is a frog only if one loves green. Translation: In order to be a frog one must love salsa verde.

Wrong: One loves green only if one is a frog. Translation: All the salsa verde lovers, are frogs. (but not all the frogs love verde salsa)

I'm struggling with translating the "wrong" statement. It just don't make no sense ricky bobby, and the worst part is it did two days ago. When I don't intentionally think about for like 2 minutes, it seems like the right and wrong statement are saying the same thing.

I know that "if" statements read left to right and "only if" states read right to left (or you just move the if in front of the first clause), but it's hard for me to understand.

This has probably been covered before...but advice is best only if it is fresh. (see what I did there. see it.)

I started doing this course this week. I just completed doing the blind review by going through the diagnostic test for June 2007. I am not sure that I did the blind review correctly as I went down two points post blind review.

My process of completing the blind review was watching the videos twice each, making notes and following through. I completed step one by going through the circled and seeing if I need to change or not and did that for all four sections. I originally was going through the whole test again and searched through the forums to see if I was doing it right. I then just went through the rest of the test just going through the circled questions. I am uncertain if my process just wasted time. I did the explanations in my head and now I wonder if I should start doing the actual foundations course or go through the other steps of the analysis before moving on to doing arguments on the course. Did I take the diagnostic to early or should I just continue with what I am currently doing by going through that prep test and sitting down and analyzing my choices and answers with all the questions. Can I change the prep test to printed test without any issues so I can analyze each question. Should I rework my process? Need advise on what to do!

I currently scoring in mid-160s, and the main issue holding me back is missing 2-3 level 1/2 questions at the beginning of the LR section. Any advice on how I can improve this? Anyways I am wondering if there is anyone here who is taking Jan exam who also took either Oct or Nov to come up with some strategies, anticipating question types and passage topics, ETC comment!!

Mainly the title but to add some context: most of the questions I get wrong I simply just misinterpreted the stimulus, whenever I watch a explanation video for a question I just didn't understand it always comes back to "I did not understand what I just read". To help with this I am actively reading on the side every day but if there is anything else I am missing please let me know. Furthermore, my analytics do not really show a pattern of question type that I am absurdly getting wrong. I have made study plans focusing on question types that I am not extremely confident with but I am wondering if I just need to take more tests or review the CC?

I am currently enrolled in a master's program (at a different school than that which I attended for undergrad), in which I have gotten straight A's. I know that graduate level courses do not count towards the LSAC's calculations of GPA. However, I have taken five undergraduate courses during the course of this program (4 were prerequisites and 1 is an elective language course). Will these undergraduate course grades count towards the calculation of my GPA when applying for law school?

Does anyone know of any resources that resemble the skill builders from the core curriculum, but mix them all up together? Since the skill builders lump all the similar ones in order, I can feel my brain zoning out and not actually learning the drill but instead just copying and pasting the format of the answer.

I am going to make a quizlet that basically mixes all the skill builders from the foundations unit, but figured I'd see if it already exists before I do!

Hi! I am scheduled to take the June test on Monday, though I don't think I will hit my goal score. I have been PTing 168-170 (but dipping as low as 166), and I really would like to get a 171-173. This means that I am going to give it a shot on Monday, but I am planning to take the test again in the fall or winter since I know I can still improve. I have only been studying for 3 weeks.

HOWEVER! My question is - if I purchased a course, would it be easily modified to take less time considering that I am already very familiar with the test? I lose most points in LG but can lose 2-3 in the other sections as well, but it seems like the bulk of the course is covering not-LG stuff which I don't necessarily want to spend weeks and weeks re-learning. Thanks for any advice that anyone can provide before I decide to purchase!

Hey, I am struggling to decide which one of the following strategies would be most effective- typically now I flag 8-10 questions per section. Would it be better to circle back to the harder ones im very unsure of first (less than 50% confidence), and use up my remaining time to try and seek out the right answer. OR would my time be better spent checking over the ones I flagged that I had 75-85% confidence in? For reference I usually have 6/7 im decently confident in, and 2-3 im very unsure/debating. Risk is i spend my time checking over the 6/7 quickly, and sacrifice the 2-3, or i spend my time on the 2-3 and risk still getting them wrong since theyre the hardest ones AND not double checking the easier ones and maybe getting 1 of those wrong. Pros and cons to each side, but I cant seem to make up my mind. Wondering if anyone currently uses any of these strategies to try and get the most accuracy in the last 5 ish mins when theyre checking over their answers, please let me know!

The new LR tags are pretty confusing to me. The basic ones before I found were easy to understand in terms of what I needed to work on. Now it's telling me to work on what seems to be broad types of questions like Value Judgement and I just want to know the specific question types. Can I make it go back to the original analytical tags or is this permanent?
