As I master and complete a section, how do I ensure that I do not forget the information that I have learned as I move from section to section?

Are there some question types that are more likely to have causal or conditional reasoning in the stimulus than others?
Does anyone know what order to watch the recordings of the live class videos?
I’m overwhelmed by the number of videos in the video library and have no idea where to begin.
Hi peeps
I created a discord server for more LSAT study peeps, no matter the score. We don't gatekeep here. It's Legally Blonde themed, and I think it'll be a big help! Here's what I have to offer:
Lots of materials, videos, and resources all in one channel for easy readability
Daily drilling with practice questions
Future study group sessions
Virtual study rooms along with a study bot that can help you create an organized task list.
A bot that can also uplift you and give you some positive vibes when you need to save your sanity.
A group of other people just like you going through the same mental war hoping to get into law school.
A person who truly cares and worked 7 and a half hours on this place because she genuinely wants you to do your best :')
Here's the link if you want to join us: https://discord.gg/ShRApKHjGn
I've been reading some suggestions to simulate a modern test for the practice tests, and then "take an extra section" from an older test to simulate how the testing would feel day of. But how do you do this?
Do you make a drill with it limited to "Tags and Preptests" then only check off 1 prep test and then check off all the item tags? What do you do then with the drill difficulty slider? Wouldn't the drill difficulty slider not be in effect if you do this because you're just taking all the questions from a section so you can't control the difficulty?
While I was struggling with LR, I encountered and read Loophole by Ellen Cassidy. I am currently working on basic translation drill a training method introduced in the book; I read the LR passages and cover it up and write down or elaborate in my own words within 20 minutes for all stimuli in the section.
This, I find it very difficult since my English is secondary language, and it takes 1 hour to complete a section.
This method of training seems reasonable approach to conquer the LR in time but I wonder if this is something that can be improved.
Any advice or thoughts will be very appreciated.
Hi all,
I tried applying for a waiver from LSAC and the website determined that I am a dependent. Neither of my parents claimed me as a dependent on their 2019 tax returns. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to get around it on the LSAC website or will I have to contact LSAC?
I'm so happy hard work pays off!
How do you guys take notes for 7Sage? I do have a wrong answer journal that I use when BR'ing drills, but besides that how do you guys take notes for the lectures? I've kind've just been going through and listening, but dont want to not soak anything in by just watching the videos. Any tips would help!
Hi,
I'm feeling really discouraged right now, so I'd appreciate some encouragement. Last year I studied for the LSAT on and off during undergrad and got 2 poor scores 148 and 149. I took the tests out of desperation not to fall behind. (I know, not wise.) I decided to wait a cycle, and I have been studying full time for the last several months. I have made my way through all of the Powerscore books, and I've been drilling to an obsessive level. I got my PTs to the 152-158 range, and decided to shoot for the moon. I took the LSAT today, and I ran into a game with wording that I hadn't seen before. I completely shut down. Tilted my way through the entire test. My mind went blank. I wouldn't be surprised if I got between a 150-152. I've now taken the test 3 times, and I've been studying full time. My partner has left me recently, and I feel like I'm at a really low point.
My averages are
RC:-11
LR: -10
LG: -5
I'm pretty bummed.
Hey y'all, so I know this is a stupid question, but can anyone explain to me what it means for something to be a sufficient condition? I understand it practically in using Lawgic to work through LR questions, but for some reason I can't explain it clearly with words. Thank you in advance!!!
Hi! Does anyone know how to use the coda school tracker with the 2023 rankings put out by world news, or are they measured by several metrics? Thanks!
I was looking at the scheduling page and saw that it requires first 4 letters your last name but my last name only has 3 letters... What am I supposed to do? Help my fellow asian friends
Hello,
I was wondering what the 8 digit HTML keycode is on the ProctorU system checkup? Is that the same thing as the LSAC account number?
Thank you very much.
I am not struggling with SA as much but am consistently getting 1-2 PSAr questions wrong on every test - is there anything else I can refer to learn more about PSAr or how to address these types of questions? I did look through the Lesson but was only able to find a video on solving a PSAr question. Thank you!
Feeling very discouraged as I was scoring in the 165-169 range on my PTs and got my score back in the high 150s from the August test. I got test anxiety as I was taking it and ran into timing as an issue which does not usually happen. I knew after I took the August test it would not be my best, but I didn't think I would go down that drastically from my average PTs. I am taking the September test and also registered for the October one just in case. I know I can get a much better score, but I am feeling a little bit deflated now. Anyone have any advice or also has had this experience?
Could someone please help explain to me how "C" is the correct answer? I went with choice E because it seemed like the closest to correct, but I honestly didn't think any of them seemed right. I'm reviewing and still can't figure out how that is the right answer.
I am pretty lost on why the correct answer is D. There is nothing in the stimulus that specifics that the Shoe Factory only hires citizens of Centerville. I would love to get some feed back on how other people did this question. I got answer B....
PrepTest A - Section 1 - Question 09
Why is A the answer in this question?
Admin Note: Edited title. Please use the format: "PT#.S#.Q# - brief description of the question."
I'm confused about which two candidates specifically don't contribute to the overall goal of the proposal.
(1) Interfere with mosquito ability to find mates
(2) Cause destruction of disease parasite before stage where it can be transmitted
(3) Disable mechanism of mosquito's own resistance to disease
Goal: Introduce mosquitos with genetic alterations that destroy disease-carrying capacity.
Is it (1) and (3), based on the assumption that the primary goal revolves around "carrying," specifically?

Hello! Could I get some outside opinions to break down why A is more correct than D? My thought process was:
"Few" people are influenced... in the shoes of the columnist, I'm thinking, ANY amount of people being influenced is worth banning these polls if it doesn't have any negative consequences to do so. If this had said "no" people, then I would have chosen it.
If the polls show late gains in popularity, that could be useful information to voters; did something happen leading up to the elections to cause shifting tides? Could certainly be good information to know, which would be something to point out in the argument to not ban polls.
Anybody can explain why answer D is the correct answer for this question?
I scored a 153 on the August LSAT and I'm taking the October LSAT. I know 153 is an average score but I'm just scared I won't get accepted into my law school options and I'm not feeling to confident (because I studied less for the October LSAT). I want to have all my applications in by November 1st so I have a higher chance of getting in. I have a pretty decent GPA (3.81 and 4.0 Major GPA) and extracurricular but I feel the LSAT would hold me back. Should I consider taking a later LSAT and sending out my score to schools after?
Hi all,
🚨 Looking to meet other actual humans that are just as crazy as you to want to study for this beast of a test? 🚨
The search ends here, with our 7Sage Study Server on Discord.
If you've been following along with this story, you may remember our score-segmented Discord servers for finding study groups. If not, perfect! Ignore me. As we continue to learn how to make 7Sage a better place for everyone to learn the LSAT, we're streamlining the study spaces we offer to best meet your needs.
I've retired two of our servers ("145-155 Scorers" and "155-165 Scorers"), rebranded what used to be the "165-175+ Scorers," and will be inviting everyone currently in each of those servers to join our (unified) "7Sage Study Server!" We'll have more brilliant minds to lean on when you're stuck, more study sessions, and more discussions. If that overwhelms you, fear not, for there will still be channels to meet with smaller groups.
📣 To anyone looking for an ongoing study hub with multiple chatrooms and voice/video lounges all in one place, join us:
Check it out, introduce yourself under # introductions, start posting questions you need a second opinion on under the # help page, plan meeting times under # session-planning, and explore all of the other channels. We can add more rooms and grow as we go!
🙋♀️ I posted an assignment in the # session-planning page. Go there, get started, and join me in the General Voice Channel from 9-10 pm ET on Wednesday, August 30th and Thursday August 31st to talk it through and kick off some productive studying.
P.S. If I've learned anything about Discord in the past few weeks, its that those links that claim to "never expire" still somehow stop working at a point. I will be checking in every few days to make sure the link works, but don't hesitate to comment below if you have any trouble joining, or any questions at all!
I chose C because I thought it would be strengthening the argument by suggesting there is suspicion of extraterrestrial life and the government is withholding information because they are hiding the truth. The only reason I didn't choose B because of the only if statement. Can someone explain why C is incorrect please.
