Hello everyone. I’m a bit confused on how I should be doing my PTs and I’m hoping someone can clear up my confusion. So, up until this point I’ve been doing PTs without checking off the “simulate modern” box on the PTs. Should I be doing these PTs with the modern option enabled? In addition, does simulating modern tests still include 4 sections and only scores 3 of them or will it only include 3 sections all of which are scored? Thanks!

Hi,
For the tags in the logic games section on the drilling page, there's one for 'grouping with sequencing' and one for 'sequencing with grouping'. Does anyone know the difference between the two?
If there is a difference, then should I do SeqGrp games whilst I'm target drilling GrpSeq/InoSeq games as well?
Thanks!
What would you say is the common attitude law schools have towards multiple lsat scores? Do they encourage retaking the exam if you are confident you can improve? Do they average the scores or only really consider the highest? Thank you.

More of PSA, but I think when you simulate modern in this test it removes the wrong LR section. Every test I've inputted in simulate modern uses the first section (S2) in LawHub while only this one seems to do the opposite.
Any tips for timing yourself on RC section? RC is always hit or miss for me depending on the difficulty of the passage. Sometimes I have to read sentences a few times to really understand them and then I short myself on time for the other passages leaving me either 1) completely guessing at the end or 2) quickly reading the passage and not fully understanding it therefore, getting questions wrong anyway.
I have linked my LSAC account to my 7sage account already, but every time I attempt to take a PT the website tells me to link my account, when I click the link, I get a message saying "This coach is already assigned to this user". I only have one 7sage account, please advise.
Hi guys,
Although I do have a relatively short study window (4 and a half months), my suggested study schedule from October and beyond consists only of practice tests. Is this normal?
Hello! For those of you who have scheduled your specific LSAT date and time before, could you describe how that works? I haven't received further information and unsure about the process. Where do you exactly go to schedule? Thank you in advance!
Hey all was reviewing some MC conclusion questions and stumbled upon 2 structurally similar stimuli in exam PT 85 S2 10 and PT 73 S4 11. At a glance they are near identical with a claim endorsed by the author, followed by an opponent view which is then rebutted by the author. I find it hard to distinguish how the MC in 73 would be the rebbutle versus how 85 would say the MC is the original claim up top.
I feel like the answer and difference to this question has to do with how in 85 all premises and such would link back to the first sentence as the main conclusion whereas in 73, the first sentence is unsupported as nothing suggests that the company will develop weaknesses. However, it's kind of challenging to internalize that difference, everyway I view one of them I could easily apply to the other. Wonder what the rest of you guys think.
The law school I try to apply is not T14, just local law school. I took the LSAT in August, but it seems like not very good. I'm thinking of taking LSAT in October, and the score will be released around Nov 2. I really need the scholarship, it is too late?
If my score from August is over the 75 percentile of the scores of the applicants, should I go ahead to apply with this score in order to increase my chance of getting scholarship? Or should I wait until November 2?
Really need advice.
I don't understand why B is the right answer. I chose E. Could someone #help me?
Hi everyone! I hope all is well. Today I'm writing this thread looking for insights on how to approach my LSAT study. First, I think it's essential that you know I'm an incoming sophomore undergraduate student, so I still have plenty of time before I graduate college; however, I do want to spend my time wisely and begin prep already. Right now, I'm working my way up the core curriculum (at the moment still strengthening questions of logical reasoning). So my question is: should I do the whole curriculum before tackling practice tests (I only did one experimental prep test, and my score was 135)? I'm also unsure if I should do all the problem sets, considering they are real LSAT questions, and I don't know how I feel about wasting them. Does anybody have any tips for beginners in LSAT prep? Any tutor recommendations? How early should I get a tutor? As I work my way up the core curriculum or once I'm done with it?
Note: I'm shooting for a 175+
Any insights would be highly appreciated.
Thanks, 7Sage community.
Hey 7Sage Community,
I'm planning on taking the LSAT this upcoming November, and am applying for additional time. I am doing so because I have both (1) ADHD, (2) an Astigmatism, and (3) a Convergence disorder. I imagine ADHD doesn't require much explanation, but the two other disorders are both eye disorders which make reading for long periods of time or at great speeds extremely difficult. As a result of these two disorders, I primarily read through audiobooks and filter all my University reading through text-to-speech software.
For all three of these disorders, I have records of professional diagnosis, supporting documentation, treatment by the in-staff doctors at Notre Dame, and a record of prior accommodation on my ACTs.
I'm wondering about two things:
What are the odds that my accommodations will be approved? I'm asking for 50% extra time. I imagine the LSAT is understandably diligent when it comes to verifying this sort of stuff (because the incentive to bullshit is immense), but I have all the necessary documents proving my conditions. I want to hear about other people's experiences because I want to know whether I should plan on practicing with the 50% additional time.
Is there anything I can do to more accurately communicate the nature of these disabilities? Is there anything that in the past has been successful for accommodation approval?
So here is the sentence:
All men and women are merely players.
I know it should translate as: men and women➡️ merely players.
And the contrapositive should be: /MP ➡️/men or /women.
But why it shouldn't be translated separately? In this sentence, "men and women" is not some kind of combination, I think they are separate conditions. You don't need to be men and women at the same time to be merely players. Just being men or women can activate the sufficient condition. I mean the "and"here, is actually an exclusive OR.
So I think it should diagram as: men or women ➡️ merely players.
And the contrapositive should be: /MP ➡️/men and /women.
If you find me made any silly mistake, please point it out. I am really confused right now. Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone! I have been reading quite a few posts about difficulties with proctors. I was wondering if anyone had any advice to make sure things go smoothly on test day. I know every second of this test counts, and I would hate to lose precious time because of a miscommunication with a proctor. Thanks in advance!

Hi, is there any consensus or received wisdom as to how valuable each point on the LSAT is above the median for a given school? I'm referring specifically to top, top schools.
I ask because, with the SAT/ACT, I seem to recall that there was pretty general agreement that top schools didn't really care how close you were to a perfect score so long as you were at or above their median/average. For instance, getting a 1590 on the SAT wasn't much more helpful than getting a 1530 for getting into Harvard (according to the opinions that I'd been exposed to). Is the LSAT similar -- or is there any discussion on the matter?
In other words, if I'm PT'ing at 177 or 178 and my score is 174 or 175, is it worth the agony of retaking it if I want a solid shot at, say, Yale?
Are we able to use the Ctrl-F find tool on the Sept 2022 LSAT? I just want to make sure no rules have changed.
seems like it's an option for people i know. hope it helps :)
Greetings! Getting ready to take a PT (here we go!) and I see the Simulate Modern option. Help me out here by explaining what I'll be calling 'LSAT evolutions'. Based on my current understanding: There were 5 total sections (1 unscored section), then they offered Flex (3 section exam - no longer available, but online option to test still is) and now they have permanently kept 4 sections moving forward with 1 of those 4 being the unscored? Goodness...
For PrepTest February 1997 - Section 3 - Question 25, what is the difference between C and D and what makes D correct? Super confused
What works best for blind reviewing logic games?
Just wanted to hear how the august re-testers feel about the test!
I had 2 LR and found the 1st was much easier so hopefully that one is the real one
I found RC to be very challenging and the last logic game was very confusing
Normally I only get around 1-2 LG wrong but that last question probably bumped that up to about 4-5
Any one else feel the same?
So, I'm having a hard time with LR averaging -5 through -10 every section even after BR. My main problem is that the question types that I'm getting wrong seem to be scattered all over the place. It's not just like weakening and assumptions, for example, but rather a little bit of everything that I'm getting wrong. So now I'm not sure how to proceed. Should I just continue drilling LR sections for practice or should I take a step back and continue learning about the fundamentals of all LR questions before more drills? (Currently reading The Loophole in LR & PowerScore LR Bible but not finished with either).
Hello, can someone please explain how answer choice C supports the conclusion and how D does not?
