My original goal was to score as high as possible on the LSAT and try to get into HYS Law; however, I have realized that it works better for my family if I have no loan to be repaid post-graduation. Thus, my goal still stands the same: Get as much high score as possible on the LSAT; yet, I am trying to go to a law school that pays me the most scholarship. I am wondering if any law school pays for the entire tuition and also if they pay for housing as well. Please speak about it if you know any details.

Thanks!

This is so bitter sweet to post because I had been utilizing 7sage since 2019ish. I saw a lot of these type of discussions and always wondered when it was going to be my turn. This law school journey has not been the easiest and the LSAT makes it even harder. I took the exam 3 times and this was my second time (reapplicant) around applying to law school. From the forum on here to the resources , 7sage has been a tremendous help in my journey. The community here is great especially for someone who’s a first generation law student and really didn’t know how to navigate this type of graduate school. I went from a 135 diagnostic to 157 (I am not a splitter with my GPA) on my last take in 2021. I also took the test in 2018 and 2019 jumping about 8-10 points up each time. I had hopes of going to a T14 law school with a score above 160 lol (it was a priority to me because I am a non-trad and this is my second career-10 years post grad) but I was ok with whatever school said yes at this point because ya girl did not want to see this exam again. I applied to 17 schools ( didn’t pay for any apps, request the fee waiver at the beginning of the cycle) and was accepted to 2 and waitlisted at a bunch more. I’m finally going to law school and will be attending Northwestern Law with a scholarship. With that being said, as many of you might be embarking on your journey, keep pushing ,stay focused and keep your eye on whatever you desire.

Is there a way to manually (or otherwise) import PT score data--the final score result would be fine--from one's LSAT preparation outside of 7Sage into the 7Sage Analytics tool?

I ask because I have a number of PTs, which I took via Khan Academy, prior to enrolling in 7Sage. As I complete the 7Sage curriculum, I notice that I am re-taking PTs as a result of not being able to track which one's I already completed with Khan Academy.

Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone from CT (preferably from the Fairfield County area) is interested in meeting regularly at a coffeeshop, library, park (once the weather gets warm), etc to study? We could just do our own thing and just have each other's company as accountability/motivation or we could talk through the 7sage curriculum!

Good Evening, Everyone.

Can someone please share some knowledge with me revolving around question 12 of PT.33? My specific question pertains to understanding the written logic, which is used to solve the question.

The lawgic is /S --> J --> H --> /G --> /W. There is an “M” below the J pointing to the H as well; however, what is confusing to me is drawing an arched arrow backward from the H to the /S. Once I have done that, how the lawgic plays out is confusing to me; and therefore, how the correct answer is reached. I have watched the video on this question more than once and I am still confused.

If anyone can share anything regarding this question, I would appreciated it. I hope my question makes sense.

Thank you!

Admin Note: Edited title. Please use the format: "PT#.S#.Q# - brief description of the question"

Memory Method?

Hey, Im working my way through the RC section and have a couple quick questions. For doing the memory Method is it best that I print out the RC questions and do it by hand or is it fine to just look at the screen, read through it, then look away and try to recall? I know this may be a personal preference thing. JY says to flip over the page. Im struggling to get this method to work for me and it seems to be taking me large amounts of time so if someone could give me a little more insight and detailed or even semi detailed explanation into their process that would be very helpful to me.

I went through the explanation video again and realized that my summaries at the end of the paragraph where way to long so I will have to cut that down.

Hello everyone,

I am scheduled to take the April and June 2022 LSAT and am aiming for a 155/160. Looking to meet a few times a week via Zoom (EST), or potentially in person (Staten Island). I am studying full-time so I am flexible with timings. Would be nice to be held accountable and gain insight from each other. Please reach out if you think we'd be a great fit and want to crush this test together! :-)

#help

Hi guys, I was hoping someone could help me out here. I'm taking the June 2022 LSAT and I've been studying since February daily for around 4 hours. I got a little distracted for two weeks because of spring break and while I am back on my grind, I've run into a little problem. I'm about two weeks away from finishing the Core Curriculum, but I'm stuck on the Logic Games section. I know that for the LGs, I should do each question I get wrong ten times, but should I be doing them ten times right now, or after I finish the CC and start practicing? Once I finish the CC I'll have about a month and a half of practice time ( I'll be studying 6 hours each day including weekends) but I don't know if I should I should try to master the LG now and then save the practice later for other things, or finish the CC first. I'm scared I wont get through the CC if I spend too much time on the LG section, but at the same time I don't want to risk it. Please let me know your thoughts or opinions I feel so lost!

Hello, Study Buddies!

I hope all is well and that studying has been going relatively smoothly. As you know, we are nearing the end of our second week of studying since we formed as a group-- go us!

I wanted to let you know that our GroupMe has been growing and the information, resources, and tips everyone has shared has been incredible. One of our most recent and exciting resources for our group is the opportunity to have an hour seminar with 7Sage’s Scott Milam.

As a group we are currently trying to find the best day and time to meet and are in the process of ironing out an agenda for our seminar, so if you have not had a chance to check out our GroupMe and pitch your ideas and availability, I encourage you to come to one of our study sessions or to reach out to me and communicate to get the link to our GroupMe if you don’t already have it. The poll to vote on the meeting time with Scott closes March 27 @ 9:35 PM PST in the GroupMe (that’s 3 days from now; the sooner you can vote, the better.)

Our burgeoning group of study buddies have been supportive and friendly and have far exceeded my expectations. To my study buddies that have been coming to the sessions and communicating with me and each other, thank you, you are truly amazing!

If you haven’t had a chance to drop in to a study session yet, or maybe you feel too much time has passed, or you feel awkward, or any number of reasons why, I want to let you know that you are still welcome in our group and that there are folks (including me) wanting to (e)meet you, encourage you, and study along side you. Please reach out and let’s get you plugged in.

Decision Timing

Hi everyone, I applied to 6 schools and was accepted to my top choice school (UT) and another good in-state option (SMU). However, I have still not heard back from the other 4 schools (BC, Duke, Vandy, NW) and the deposit deadline for UT/SMU is April 14. I applied to all late December. As the deadline approaches, is it ever appropriate to reach out for an accelerated decision? I'm worried I will have to deposit without knowing results from other schools, and without being able to ask for scholarship reconsideration from UT or SMU. Does anyone have advice for this situation?

Hi everyone! Is anyone interested in forming a virtual study group to prepare for the April 2022 exam? I've been studying for a couple weeks now and would love to have a group or even just a buddy to study with.

So far I've been scoring in the 169-171 range, looking to get 173+. I go to school full time and my classes start next week, but I'd love to find a time in our schedules to meet maybe 2-3x a week to work together and hold each other accountable.

Let me know if you're interested and we can get something started!

Hi there! I created a post a few days again about a PST based study group for the June 2022 LSAT specifically focused on those who are seeking a 180. Here is a link to the original post: https://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/31609/for-those-looking-for-a-180-discord-study-group-for-june-2022-exam/p1.

I'm making another post to reach more people who are interested in joining and being active participants on this discord server. Also, as the title mentions, Scott Milam, who scored a 180 himself, kindly accepted my offer to join and participate on the discord. He has his own channel where you can ask him questions directly. And in the near future I plan on organizing a group video call session to speak with him and hear more about his journey and what it was like getting a 180. He is very much looking forward to meeting other determined students with their goals set on a 180.

If you want to be part of a serious study group where we delve into LR, RC, and LG topics, talk strategy and logic, and review PTs together, please message me demonstrating your interest.

Thank you and look forward to being in contact.

Deferrals

I am curious about general policy/sentiment regarding deferrals. Do schools generally view them favorably (especially this year with so many applicants) or unfavorably? I enjoy my current job and am somewhat ambivalent whether I go this year or next. Would they preserve my scholarship? Would there be a chance at increased scholarship if I just re-apply? @"Selene Steelman"

Tutor Session Guidance

I have a tutor I have been working with for about a month now, she's not 7sage affiliated and I feel sometimes we have a disconnect about what a good session looks like. She definitely knows the LSAT, but I'm not sure if we are getting the most out of our sessions. I'm working through the curriculum and she feels I should be testing more often. Does anyone have any advice on How a good tutoring session should go? (What success looks like)

Hi everyone,

I studied for about 4 months last year and finished 85% of the CC and took two practice tests, but I stopped studying towards the end of December. Its been so hard for me to start studying again. Does anyone have any advice on how to start after you've taken a "break"? For reference, my strongest area is LG, and my weaker areas are LR and RC.
