Does anyone have any insight or advice on whether or not its a good idea to cancel your score? My previous undergrad advisor said not to cancel your score unless you absolutely flopped the test. I took the October LSAT and had some personal matters come up unexpectedly the day before. I don't think I realized how much it would subconsciously affect me and my score went down two points from my previous score last fall cycle. Is that a reason to cancel my score or maybe just write about my circumstances in an addendum?

I'm taking the November LSAT and plan to do better on that one.

How to use Study Plan

Hello, I am fairly new to studying for the LSAT and my plan is to take the first LSAT in June 2026. I am trying to get a 175, but I don't know how to approach the studying. According to the study plan I should spend the first 10 weeks or so on the core curriculum and then after start practicing/drilling. Is that what I should do? Or should I structure my studying in another way? For example, I do the core curriculum one day and then practice another day?

Hello everyone! I am planning on retaking the LSAT in February 2026. I am based in Phoenix, but if any AZ (or west coast in general) people want to create a study group, please respond to this message! I would be willing to creating a group chat (Facebook, Instagram, Gmail?) for anyone interested!

Is there a rule of thumb about when it's okay to consider common sense outside information and when it's not? For example, in PT132.S4.Q17, wrong answer choice (E) cites smoking as an explanation for cancer/heart disease even though the stimulus didn't mention smoking. However, in other questions (that I can't think of to link) answer choices with external information were written off. Would appreciate any insight, it's really starting to trip me up...

Tips and Tricks

Does anyone have a sheet or google doc with the best tips and tricks to look over before going into test day? I have all my notes but it is a large accumulation of notes from months. Just looking to find a simple tips and tricks sheet. Thanks

Maybe I’m dumb but just took my first PT on lawhub (would’ve taken it on 7sage but I want the free test that comes with the Fee waiver so I have to take two PTs on lawhub) i imported it to 7sage but now I want to BR but don’t have the option to Br that test on 7sage… so I’m wondering what would be the best move now? Retake it self paced on lawhub? Retake that Pt entirely on 7sage and just exclude from analytics?

Any help is appreciated!

Also should I Br the entire test or only what I got wrong? Going from drills to having to Br a whole PT is stressful af

Sometimes when I'm reviewing, I think it'd be cool to try a question with a very similar structure to the question I just reviewed (e.g. a Sufficient Assumption question that has a ValJudge and LinkAssumption component), but it seems the only way to do that is to manually search for one in the drill creator?

👯 Matching

Matching / Parallel

One more LSAT question. Does anyone have advice for matching flaws or parallel reasoning or most similar to the argument type questions? Anything someone said that helped them click for you, or something that helps you get through them quicker? These are the ones I struggle with the most, particularly for pacing and speed.

Hey guys, I plan on taking the test this January ( hopefully.) I'm looking to form a study group where we can share ideas and motivate one another. Hopefully, we can get this test out of the way already lol.

Going backwards!!!!

I am writing the LSAT in November. I was on a pretty good trajectory until this week. I am drilling causal reasoning and getting most wrong. I do not know what is going on. I go on the lives for CR, and at the time seem to understand, and then I drill and I am still stuck. Any ideas? What the heck am I not getting - rhetorical question, Ha! Anyone feeling like this?

Hi! I'm looking for a study partner/group to review about once a week. I'm from New York but am currently studying abroad in Europe so am going by CEST. I'd love to talk with some new people and see if our schedules would align. I don't plan to take the LSAT for another couple months, but have a consistent study schedule.

Hi all,

I'm taking the LSAT Jan 26 after bombing it this Oct.... I'm looking to form a group to study with in-person or virtually (PST). If enough people respond to this, I can create a Discord server or group chat (Enough people respond --> Create Discord server or group chat).

I'm based in the Valley, but can commute to anywhere that would be easiest for everyone.

Hope to hear from y'all and wishing the best of luck to everyone!

Shallow Dipping, My New Love

Hey guys.

I only saw one recorded class on shallow dipping and tried to look for more but couldn't find them. If you know, can you please list some recorded dates, titles, and instructor names for me to look up so I can continue practicing with the recording? Thank you.

Is tapering recommended? If so, how much?

Obviously when you get near to the test, you're also a little burnt out. I like the idea of tapering (taken from sports) as I scored my highest PT after going easier the week before. I tried to recreate this for another PT to test it out and my score decreased a little (granted I was also quite exhausted on that PT day).

Wondering if there are any taper recommendations so you feel prepped but fresh for actual test. Thanks!

Any Tips Appreciated

I studied LSAT aggressively for two months, completed the core curriculum of 7Sage, then I took my first PT and got 142. I think I def need to revisit the core curriculum but I don't think it's going to be changed enormously by January 2026 and it seems like the core curriculum did not help me at all.

Any tips..?

Hi all! Just got my October LSAT results and am super displease - I've been PTing 173 and up across 7Sage and LawHub (for the test platform experience) and got a 164 on the exam. This isn't my first time taking the exam and though my scores have consistently gone up, I know I have the ability to get a better score and am thinking of retesting in January.

My question is whether or not I should apply for the 2026 cycle. I have a couple T14s on my school list and the rest are Tier 1s, so almost every school on my app list is now a reach. I have a very strong GPA (3.98/4.00) and diverse experiences reflected in my statements and resume, so I'm trying to figure out what the odds are of me getting in. I know any point increase on another test would increase scholarship but I'm worried that delaying my application from November to end of January will lower my chances of acceptance and merit aid. Thoughts??

LSAC Forum SF

Hey everyone,

I’m heading to the LSAC Law School Admissions Forum in San Francisco next week and wanted to ask for some advice. For those who’ve attended before, what’s the typical dress code like? I’m aiming to make a strong, professional impression without being overdressed.

Also, any tips on how to stand out when speaking with admissions representatives? Are there particular kinds of questions that tend to spark a good conversation?

Thanks in advance! I’d love to hear what worked well (or didn’t!) for you.

I just looked at my drilling stats, and it says that I am drilling with about 75% accuracy. I have been studying for about two months now and am hoping to take the test in April, but I am dead set on getting in the 170s. Is there any reason for me to be concerned right now with my progress? I am generally an anxious person and don't know if I should re-adjust my expectations or maybe my expected test date?

Confirm action

Are you sure?
