Yep, I went to register this weekend and was waitlisted! They did flag that we're only _temporarily_ on the waitlist, so hopefully that does mean more testing centers will be opened up soon...
i've been on a waitlist before and read somewhere that ... ahead and registered on the waitlist and was able to get ... ahead and register on the waitlist if you know for certain ...
I am also in the same boat. I am currently waitlisted for the Nov. It is super nice that they're offering more administrations of the exam, but there isn't one in my state until Feb, if I do not get in off a waitlist.
From what I understand (after being on a waitlist for a seat for the October test), you are guaranteed a seat for the November test. The only thing that is not certain is which test center you'll be placed at.
A bit frustrated. A one point decline from September. I gambled and decided to apply later in the cycle thinking I had a good shot to improve on September. Didn't work out. Not the end of the world I guess.
There are levels to this, but you can boil most of it down to if you are at or above the 50 percentile GPA and LSAT you will likely get in. If you are not, you will likely not get admitted directly (waitlist, deny, wait longer to hear back etc.)
