Being a current 1L, I would wager that nobody knows how to answer this question with a hint of accuracy before law school.
Criminal Law
Con Law
Legal Research + Writing
Torts
Contracts
Depends on the curve
Property, Trusts and Estates, Legal Writing and Research, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law
Torts: This class seems to present all sorts of the darnedest situations.
Criminal Law: Sat in a lecture; sounded quite interesting.
Constitutional Law: I'm thinking 90% of all law school applicants will list this class as #1. I choose to be a part of the 10% who do otherwise.
Property Law: This class can be quite fascinating, I heard.
Contracts: "You will never, EVER click 'I Accept' without at least skimming through those Terms and Conditions after taking that class." (one NYU law student)
My top five were in my first year:
Criminal
Torts
Contracts
Civil pro
Property
I don’t know about the others, but contracts would for sure be my #1. I’ve done a fair amount of contract work in my job and enjoy it.
Iv binge watched how to get away with murder... if that counts

Have you sat in any of these classes as an observer? If not, I recommend it :) I sat in a crim law class and enjoyed it.
I've sat in Crim Law and thought it was great. I was itching to borrow someone's book so I could better understand what was going on.
oh this is fun :) I've sat in on a property class once and it wasn't bad (even though I didn't include it on my list lol). Hoping to sit in on a criminal law class this spring at a different school!
