Would the negation test be something that could also be used on "Must be True" questions? Since on both NA and MBT questions we have to find a missing premise or assumption that must be true given the argument?
so were not to use the negation test right off the bat? then what are we supposed to use? i thought the negation test was a great way to find the answer right off the bat
What other way would you determine an AC is necessary other than negating..when you ask yourself is it necessary you're automatically negating no? even if subconsciously...not sure why this as advised as something not to use during testing
If both of these tests are time-consuming to apply and we should only use them as "training wheels" and not actually on test day, what strategies should we be using to approach these questions in timed conditions?
