We got conflicting reports after August about whether our current tester looks right.
If you took the official September test, could you let us know what you think? Check out how an RC drill looks at 100% zoom (so ctrl/cmd + or - until 100%) and your desired font size (change through accessibility options) and tell us how it compares. @strawberryicecream Maybe it’s a screen size thing at my testing centre, but for some questions I had to scroll down a bit for the last choice to be fully visible
I took the official September test this weekend and was happily surprised by how accurate the 7Sage interface is, much more then when I tested in June! I like to use the 125% zoom and it looks almost identical.

I took the September test in person, and the interface was wider (like the red box, maybe even wider). As someone who took August and September, I immediately recognized that the width had changed from August. Otherwise, 7sage's interface is spot on. Thank you for staying on top of these changes!
Took the September test and it was a lot wider. But overall really appreciate how accurate this interface is!
A small note that is unrelated to the width of the test interface is that on the Sept LSAT, I believe I wasn't able to highlight within the answer choices while in response masking mode and had to turn that off in order to do so, while on 7Sage, I could
@kumquat86 oh shoot. I took the September test (remote) but did not try this. I had problems with using the answer elimination tool and could not reset the answers after I used it. I filed a complaint and will retest. I was hoping to use the highlight feature to “gray out” wrong answers to avoid the problem I encountered. If that also doesn’t work…. Yikes.
Thanks for pointing this out. I believe LSAC must have changed that; I think we could highlight even when elimination mode was selected at some point in the past. We'll plan to update.
YES! As the kid who lowkey freaked out when someone sat in her seat (through college lmao) I really liked consistency and knowing what to expect. I was thrown off by the size of the testing interface and the cmd +/- feature didn't work for me

I think it should reflect what we will see on the actual LSAT Test day. We have to get our eyes and minds trained for the same environment.
I took the September test and it seemed practically identical to the 7Sage tester.
When taking tests on LSAC, is the interface the same as the LSAT? Last time I used it only took up 75% of my screen with the left 25% taken up.
I took August and September and agree that the interface was wider. Maybe I blacked it out and changed it in the first section and forgot, but I usually set the font to large on 7Sage and had to do that on the August test, but I felt like the font was more like the large size on September test already? Maybe because of the wider interface
@Dagny yeah, I usually change from normal to extra large (150%) and the September interface was already set at Large (125%) before I changed it to 150%. sep. interface was def wider than the 7sage tester
As I’m practicing on Law Hub for my retest (after having to forfeit my Sept test due to a LSAC technical problem), I would like to add that I think you should expand the width on your practice exams and drills. The text space is much wider in the actual exam, and thus the info is much harder to read. Better yet, would be if 7Sage advocated to LSAC to include dimensions and fonts that are more conducive to reading… The width on 7Sage is by far superior.
For me the interface at the testing center was essentially identical to when I change the font size to large on 7sage. To me, the font on 7sage is tiny and I have to change it to large. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to do this on test day. But yes, it is definitely wider at the testing center, filling the full width of a standard computer monitor screen. I don't know if that is helpful LOL.
It should definitely be shorter. I took the Sept 2026 exam on a 17 inch screen and the testing area on my screen was tiny. I could not see the question test and all five answers choices on my screen at the same time. I had to scroll, and surprisingly there were two scroll bars, which was clunky and confusing. If you scrolled on one of the scrollers, you could not see the remaining time. None of this is true for me in 7Sage.
Took the in-person in the morning on Friday at the same center, different machine, and it was the same as it was in August. 7Sage's layout was accurate, but I ultimately ran my last PT on LawHub the day before to prepare for any layout issues.
On test day, the page was divided vertically into quarters with the top and bottom quarters as buffer space and the middle half as the content band. Horizontally, the content spans the full width of the screen, edge to edge or with a negligible buffer. Edge to edge/negligible buffer didn't matter because it was WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE.
The vertical buffers and content band maintained their 25%/50%/25% proportions regardless of browser zoom level, font size, or line-height adjustments.
Accessibility settings: Font Size > Large (125%) / Line Height > Default
Accessibility settings + Zoomed in 125% seemed to be the best common denominator between 7Sage and LawHub's test interface that worked for me.
