J.Y.'s explanation finally made SA questions click. Finally feel like freebies indeed.

Tried to do this one without diagramming. Took me 7 minutes and came up with nothing. After I diagrammed it, I got the answer right immediately SMH.

This should be an automatic 5 star question. You’re telling me that “thus” does not equal conclusion!!?

Not recognizing the modifier of "that seemed worth domesticating" is what made me choose A off rip instead of B.
From my notes:
I misunderstood the question here. I thought that the second study included more plants of a different species, but it did not. It only included the same plants in about the same geographical area. Almost as if the second study was done the exact same as the first study. So what would make the percentage change!?
A would not make sense because even if the plants were less populous, why would that automatically change the percentage of patterned stems amongst the population? Again, we are talking about the SAME plant species here. Even if there were 100 plants in the first study and only 50 in the second study, theoretically, there should still be only 70% of patterned stems.
D makes so much more sense, but I overlooked this as it appeared to be too easy of an answer.
