After reading these I think that the videos help me grasp it more.

If the heat wave doesn't abate, then blackouts will occur.

If blackouts don't occur, then the heat wave abates.

i still don't entirely understand how they are different.

I understood it but where to place each idea messed me up.

Number 5 confuses me

I don't really understand 4 & 5. For 4, it doesn't make sense for me to have "therefore" in front of another premise. And 5, this doesn't seem like an argument.
