I am preparing to take the June LSAT and have been drilling specific question types with which I struggle the most. This will be my first LSAT, so I anticipate taking the test again later on, and I am concerned that I am going to run out of clean questions for use in future studying. Is this something to be concerned about, and should I limit my drills of a certain question type as a result?

I've found that the games I struggle with most consistently involve conditional logic. I don't have any trouble understanding the logical relations themselves, but the complexity of the rules gets me very confused. For example, when a rule says something like, if A is before B, then C is before D. An example of a game that gives me trouble is PT78.S2.G3: https://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-78-section-2-game-3/

Does anyone have any advice on how to approach these games?

Does anyone have any recommendations for affordable LSAT tutors?

I have a Tier 1 LSAC fee waiver and have been struggling to find tutors who can give me a significant enough discount to where I could afford tutoring :,(

Honestly im looking for any reputable tutor who charges less than 200/hr

Before entering the PT's in the 80's, I used to blaze through the LR questions and would get -4/-5. Obviously, not perfect but a solid result.

But once I entered the 80's, my LR started dipping and I end up getting -7 to -9. I took a step back and tried to see what's going on.

I'm starting to find that a lot of the flaws and assumptions in LR in the 80's are still the same, but they are disguised with more convoluted language, both in the stimulus and in the answers. This has forced me to have to slow down now and really untangle the language in both the stimulus and answers now.

Is this something people have noticed or am I just going crazy? Lol.

I used to love blazing through the sections, but am wondering if I need to slow down now to attain accuracy on the more recent PT's.

Hey all,

Help me decide when to write, please.

Pros of September:

  • work starts full time in October (and I don’t want to ask for more time off but I suppose I could) and it is demanding (audit — lots of unpaid overtime). I have a hard time working and studying at the same time (my household is v loud and I can’t get anything done, EVER. I also live far from a library/coffee shop etc.)
  • disclosed
  • less anxiety bc I know I can rewrite in October if I don’t do well
  • Cons:

  • 300$
  • you can only write 3x in a test year and I wrote in July (planning to cancel), and if I F up September and October I have 1 take left (since I think it’s effective after July)
  • Pros of October:

  • more prep time but not really because work is starting (maybe I’ll forget what I learned?). Unless I extend my study leave or quit my job, then I’ll really have a lot more time and will be comfortably prepared. I already extended my study leave until the end of September though. Can’t stand my job, but I need to save up for school and need a LoR from my manager. Also it looks good on my resume.
  • free (I’ll cancel the July score)
  • Cons:

  • really pushing the deadline for my applications (I feel?)
  • more prep time = more anxiety
  • I am currently scoring 150-152 when timed. I would like to score high 160s. That’s realistic, right? I have been studying since the beginning of June.

If anyone has any suggestions at all on the path I should take please let me know. I’m mostly applying to Canadian universities (maybe 1 or 2 American ones). I am also a horrible test taker. Sorry my mind is all over the place right now, I don’t know what I should do!

Putting the finishing touches on some application components before sending them all in Feb 1 and would love some eyes on my work from people who don't know me. Would also be down to do personal statement edits as a swap for my Yale 250/resume, if that's what you want looked at!

P.S. My Yale 250 is about being part of the LGBTQ+ community so only looking to swap with people who y'know.... aren't homophobic LOL

    Greetings!

I'm a 24F who just started studying for the LSAT and I'm scoring in the mid-130s. I’d really love to find someone to study with and not feel so alone in this process!

I have open availability right now, but evenings and weekends (ET) will probably work best long-term.

Virtual works for me, and if you’re interested, just send me a message!

    :)

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for study partner(s), preferably someone who is

  • scoring PTs in the 165-175 range,
  • considering the Oct 2019 LSAT, and/or
  • can meet in or near Ilsan (ex. Hongdae~Sinchon area.)
  • I'm thinking maybe we could meet up once a week (starting Aug 31 or the first week of September), take a timed PT together using the 7sage proctor (using PTs in the 80s + PT C and C II), BR individually at home, and go over the PT together online or through Kakaotalk the day after.

    Message me if interested. Thanks(:

    Hi there,

Is there a lesson as part of the CC where the process for approaching LR Evalutate questions is covered? If not is there a particular problem/ set of problems JY works through where he explains his strategy in detail?

    Thanks yall
