I opted into the new "beta syllabus" and now I can't access anything other than logical reasoning. Even the contact button isn't working so this discussion page is my only option. This was my only evening to study this week and now it's completely fucked. What the hell?

Can someone please explain?
Hi everyone. I finished the CC and wrote a brand new diagnostic. My first diagnostic score was at a 148, and 155 Blind Review in the beginning of the curriculum. The new diagnostic I just wrote had a 153 and a 165 blind review. I wrote both exams using the "simulate modern LSAT" option.
Should I not click "simulate modern" and write the extra LR section? I decided to not do so because I was thinking that I could use the extra questions for drilling and didn't want to waste them.
Moving forwards, should I focus on drilling sections of the exam that I am the weakest on, including the question types that I suck at BEFORE deciding to write more PT's? Or should I weave some sessions for drilling inbetween days where I PT?
My analytics are: -11 RC, -9 LR, -6 LG
Thank you!
I created two LR drilling sessions on advanced drilling mode and did the questions.
On both of those sessions I got several questions incorrect.
To practice just the incorrect ones, I switched over to auto build drill mode:
The drilling pool was zero and I could not create a drilling session using Auto Build.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone!
Like most people here, my desire to attend law school is rooted in how much I want to help people. Back in 2020, I applied to law school and was rejected and waitlisted at all the law schools I applied to. Feeling defeated, I delayed a cycle and considered staying in my current career. However, so many posts on here encouraged me to try again. To my surprise, this year I have been accepted into 3 law schools, one of them being my top choice: Washington and Lee!
Just want to encourage everyone on here that if its meant for you, it will come. Do not give up hope!
Thank you 7Sage!
I am having hell of a hard time figuring this one out; I have 3 issues here:
If the press were not profit making the only alternative is subsidy and with it outside control
1)I was thinking: NOT profit making------> Subsidy and Outside control
but then I remembered "the only" is group 1 indicator and I changed my diagram to:
Subsidy and Outside control--------> NOT profit making
and of course this does not lead to the right answer choice...
2) what's up with that AND? which one is right?
Not Profit Making--------> Subsidy & outsideControl
or
NOT profit making--------> Subsidy--------> Outside control
and then link either with Subsidy -------->NOT honest Journalism
3) Am I making this harder that what it actually is? I keep diagraming LR questions...
As I am working with my tutor and going through the CC and getting more of a deeper understanding or the test, I feel more confused than when I was studying just by drilling and PTing through Khan academy. My scores before were pretty alright, with a high of 165.
Now that I am learning the CC, I feel like I overthink all the questions and I have learned so much in so little time that it is hard to remember it all when I am doing questions. How have you gotten past this? To some extent I know it is just me essentially having to unlearn my intuition which had gotten me to where I was. But how long should I expect that to take?
I want to score a min of 170, but really am shooting for 175+, and while I theoretically have a long time to study, I want to take the Aug. test.
I am struggling to understand how this answer is supported by the stimulus. To run through my thoughts:
A: irrelevant, there is nothing about clams in the passage
B: irrelevant, we are not discussing the mussels spreading to the Mississippi or the effects on the pear industry
C: we don't have any information about removing the mussels from the areas they clog
D: This is the one I picked though I went back and forth between D and E. I picked D because it seemed to be the most related to the stimulus. The stimulus talks about how the mussels clog the intake pipes at the beginning and then transitions to talking about how bags of mussels suspended in discharge streams help clean water. I assumed without proof that the algae would just clog intake pipes as well.
E: This one seems like a logical conclusion, but I didn't think there was enough direct support in the stimulus to justify this conclusion. It seems like quite a jump to me to assume that the mussels will need to be discarded as hazardous waste.
Any advice or help on making the assumptions that need to be made in MSS problems? #help

Hi everyone! While I know this cycle is far from over, a lot of us may be gearing up to take the LSAT, draft essays, and generally starting our applications for next cycle. I’ve created a discord server that is intended to be inclusive (not T-14 focused) if anyone applying next cycle is interested in joining the community. I will also be adding law students who want to be available to answer any questions for other aspiring students. :) Feel free to join here: https://discord.gg/k8ZF7Sba

I am considering pausing/cancelling my 7sage subscription for a month, as it will be a busy time. I originally purchased my subscription to 7sage in November, along with the mandatory LSAC test access purchase for ~100$. My access to LSAC prep will end in November 2023. If I were to cancel my subscription for May 2023, and restart it in June 2023, would I have to pay another additional 100$ for LSAC again, or would I simply go back to paying my regular monthly 7sage access charge?
Potatoes -> has solanine (poisonous in large quantities) -most-> solanine in the skin.
Domestic potatoes -> has small quantities (so not poisonous)
Wild potatoes -> poisonous level of solanine (must be in large number).
So peeled wild potatoes =safe= unpeeled domestic tomatoes
What to warrant that the wild potatoes fall within this MOST group where the solanine stays in the skin?
A. So the amount of solanine in the skin of wild potatoes is more than the skin of domesticated potatoes. So peeling the skin of wild potatoes wouldn’t make it safer to eat than domesticated potatoes? Not at least as safe as
B. So removing this means removing the poisonous part.
C. So the peeled wild potato has the same amount of solanine as an unpeeled domesticated potato. Yes, as safe as.
D. Why does this matter.
E. Size doesn’t matter, its the quantity of solanine.

I keep a wrong answer journal, and I go back to re-do questions every month. So far I have been finding the PT, "taking" it (but really just leaving all the questions blank until I get to the one I need), then deleting the entire test. There must be an easier way??
I've been stuck around 159 for a couple of months now. I took a month off studying which I regret because I had been steadily improving and after jumping back in I've been stuck where I left off. My goal is to break through 160, I would be super happy if I could get a 165. Planning to retake the exam in August and have plenty of time to study until then. Managed a 160 on PT92, and a 159 on the Feb LSAT this year.
LG has been my nemesis from the beginning so I've exclusively focused on studying LG. I went from missing about -17 questions to now average -11. I have a couple of learning disabilities that make LG extra challenging, but I would love to bump my average up tiny bit more in this section. My reading comp average is -5, and LR is -6.8. I'm thinking it might be time to switch gears a bit and stop neglecting the other sections during my studying. I drill and review LG a few hours a day for 2-4 days a week and try and take a PT at least once a month right now. I should have a bit more time to study starting May and hope to PT weekly and study 3-5 days a week for a min of 3-5 hours.
I would love to hear any advice about how I should shift my study strategy over the next couple of months to bump my score a few more points by August.
Also curious to hear from other folks with ADHD or other learning disabilities about any unconventional study tips that were helpful.
Thanks in Advanced!
can someone explain why D is the right answer
Hi folks! I've been studying for the LSAT very part-time for the last six months. I've definitely improved since I've started. I feel like I understand the test, but I don't feel I'm improving beyond that. I'm reading, drilling, blind reviewing, but I feel like nothing is sticking. I've signed up for the June LSAT, and I hope to make some large strides during May. Does anyone have any tips on how they pushed through and started regularly strategizing successfully? Would love any tips you have! Thank you so much! Happy studying!

For the past 10 months I've been studying part time for the LSAT. Out of all the sections, RC has consistently given me the most trouble and has been the most difficult section for me to improve on. From my diagnostic test to now, I've only been able to manage going from -15 to -10 (sometimes -8/-9 on a good day). I'm at a loss and I'm not sure what else I can do to improve. This section has been holding me back big time and is part of the reason why score fluctuates so greatly. If anyone has any tips on how I can improve, study, and review this section better, please let me know. I think my biggest issue is not having a strategy when going into RC and immediately feeling intimated/nervous about completing the section. Any advice or words of encouragement would be appreciated.
Hello,
Can someone please explain the blind review process to me because I am not understanding. I am just starting to study for the LSAT.

Hi Friends!
I'm wondering when I should use the lawgic notation vs when not to use it.. sometimes it's less challenging for me to rely on intuition + general understanding than to draw the relationships.. and the thing is that often times by the time I figure out that I need to use lawgic - it's already too late and I need to pass over to the next question..
any thoughts??
Thanks!!
Hey y'all
Writing in here to see if anyone has any advice for making gains on RC - Reading Comp:
I'm taking the November test as my last session before applying, and have not been able to figure out how to improve on RC. On average, I score perfect on Logic Games, and I average 1-3 wrong on LR; which are immense improvements from my original diagnostic range of -4 and -8. For RC however, my gains are not where I would like them to be. I started out in the 8-12 range (terrible I know) and have been able to trim that down to 4-7. Although I have made some solid progress, it just seems like i'm missing something on RC and this is costing me a T-14 score. For LG/LR, when I get a question wrong, it's almost always due to a mistake that I am able to recognize and internalize. I am also able to address the areas that I struggle with, and can address them accordingly. For RC, I realize that there are a couple questions on RC that will simply be too difficult for me to get right. However, my issue is that I continue to miss out on questions that are 50/50, and seem to be making a lot of the same mistakes on the same question types, even after Blind Reviewing for hours. After almost two years of practice, my time spent on passages has barely improved. I average almost 4-5 minutes on the passage, use the highlight functions to a large extent, and occasionally jot down Low-Res summaries for paragraphs.
At this point, i'm not sure if I can say that my issue is a practice thing. I just wish there was some way I could hone in on RC through some supplemental means, resources, courses, books, or exercises that could give me some tips and pointers.
If anyone has any advice that helped them improve on RC, any supplemental resources that they could recommend, or a general diagnosis for my situation, I would appreciate it tremendously.
Best of luck to all of you guys on your Law School journeys, keep grinding!
I have no cumulative GPA calculation because I competed less than 60 graded credits of U.S./Canadian undergraduate-level work prior to the awarding of the international degree.
I've got 4.22/4.5 GPA from non U.S. undergraduate and 3.88/4.0 GPA from U.S. undergraduate.
According to LSAC Academic Summary Report, Degree(Summary) GPA is 3.81 and there's no Cumulative GPA.
Do law schools look my GPA as 3.81 or do they calculate cumulative GPA combined with both schools? If I calculate all the credits I've got from both schools with LSAC grade conversion table, my overall GPA is 4.02, which is pretty much higher than 3.81.
help Please advise me if you know how my GPA affects the law school admission.
I am studying from the core curriculum beta version and i am completely lost on the logic. I think I need a more visual explanation because I really don't feel like I understand it.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions on what to do so I can understand it.
