I just accidentally revealed the results prematurely, and while I'm pretty pleased with my score, there's plenty left to improve. Is there a way to keep the original test results and only reset the BR? If not, I'll just use a hard copy of PT 36 for my BR, but I will miss the insights gained from doing it here on 7Sage.

Thanks :)

Just started to study again for the LSAT, I have not written it before but I intend to write this September/October. If you are interested in creating a group where we can select a few dates to study together besides individually, let me know!

After a lengthy study journey for the LSAT and applying for two cycles, I finally got acceptances and scholarships from three high-ranked law schools and picked one based on my needs. I cannot thank 7Sage enough for my LSAT study and for the helpful posts on the admission process. The best way to show my gratitude to the study community on 7Sage is by offering some free one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in need.

My LSAT score is 169. But I got that score from a no-sleep night before the test day, and three internet crushes on the test day. With that said, my practice PTs' average is 173. My strongest suit is the LG. I usually finished section 0/-1 with 3-5 minutes left on my clock. I feel confident about LR too. I can do a medium-difficult section -1 to -3 with 1 /2 minutes left. I struggled with the reading section, but I improved my performance from -10 to -3/-5 and finished all passages on time.

Feel free to PM or leave a comment below if you have any questions about studying for the LSAT or applying to law schools. I'd love to share my experience and opinion.

Hello everyone!

First time LSAT taker here. Taking the April LSAT on Friday morning. My RC and LR scores are reasonable enough, but I’m getting killed on LGs, mostly due to timing with constructing diagrams. Pretty last minute…but does anyone have any suggestions for the best method to fix this? What’s the best resource to utilize for strictly LGs? I’ve been focusing on practice LSATs and volume of questions…is this efficient? Thank you!

Hi,

My name is Genesis, I live in the LA area and I am looking for anyone who is willing to study together virtually. I have been studying sporadically and need more structure/support. I also find that the gratification in this study process is incredibly low, which affects my motivation.

Hoping to meet during these times, I am a morning person. I don't know for how long, and I don't expect this to be absolutely every single week/everyday I know we all have our own lives going on. I think I just need a space/community to be apart of! I hope to do the same. Make friends and maybe even get into law school together!

Check-in days/talk about how its going plans for the week/day

Monday- Friday: 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and/or maybe? 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

study sesh #1

Saturday: 7:00 AM to 10 AM

study sesh #2

Sunday: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

  • all times PST *
  • I am looking to score anything higher than 170 and I am currently barely hitting 160. I plan on applying this September. But I want to keep my test dates open, and go more on how I am performing/feeling/confidence..,etc

    Warmly,

    Gen

    June 2022 LSAT

I'm registered for the June 2022 exam but I want to delay it to August/Sept but it doesn't have the option for me to to change dates? Does anyone know why is it that we can't see or choose later dates?

Taking test for the second time this week, curious if anyone attempts to apply this late for this cycle? I am planning on applying for 2023, but just curious as I have heard that people do indeed apply this late and get lucky.

    Hi guys,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm looking for a single study buddy/accountability partner. I work full time, PST, I'm looking for a study buddy in the same time zone, with somewhat of a similar work/study schedule.

I am scoring in the mid to high 60's. Will be happy with a high 60, but the target is 70+.

Will be taking the exam in August.

    DM me if you're interested.

    Hey 7Sagers,

A new single mother here of a 6-month old baby girl in my early 30s. I've been working in the legal field as long as I've been avoiding this test lol! So, after putting off the LSAT for a decade for grad school, work, and marriage, I'm finally back into the LSAT game and really want to complete my journey with the LSAT. My LORs, transcripts, and everything is in but the LSAT! I really want to get into law school and want to inspire my little girl. Any words of advice for motivation would be greatly appreciated! Any other mommas out there who kept continuing their journey? It's really hard to study with a little one, but she gives me so much strength to finally face this exam again. My strongest section is LG, just got The Loophole to read for LR, and just a confession--I get discouraged by the RC section because although I have a MA in English, I hate the RC passages on another level lol! It's been really hard to improve in this section the most. But nonetheless, I'm ready to finally get this test out of the way to start my law school journey and am looking forward to reading your tips! My target is 165+ and wish to take the Oct 2022 exam. Thanks! :)

    Hi all!

I hope you're doing well! Disclaimer: this will be a longer post, but I have a TL;DR at the end.

I'm planning on taking the October 14th, 2022 LSAT (and most likely the November 11th, 2022 LSAT as well). I am also aiming to have submitted my law school applications by September 30th, 2022.

With that in mind, I am looking to form a virtual study group that would serve the following purposes:

    a) prepping for the test and studying together;

    b) creating a space where we can be held accountable for our study time (since I personally have been having a hard time staying on track);

    c) providing peer support throughout the application process (ideally, but not required to join!); and,

    d) perhaps making a few friends along the way!

Just a few notes before I get into the details:

    a) This group is open to everyone, regardless of where you are in your LSAT prep journey and/or your score goals. Put simply, it will be a kind, supportive, and inclusive space for anyone that wishes to join.

    b) Everyone has different schedules and so there is no need to commit to studying with the group every day/for the entire duration of the study sessions to be a part of this group.

    c) To keep this a judgement-free and safe space, practice test scores and score goals will be kept private from one another, especially since again, we may all be at different places in our prep journey.

    d) This will be a virtual study group and we will meet via Zoom/Microsoft Teams (depending on our preference). A proposed study plan/schedule is as follows:

    Proposed study plan:

    a) Monday to Friday: Silent study arrangement where we can individually go through our own LSAT prep, with the exception of 5 minutes at the beginning and end to settle in and wind down, as well as a break in the middle. We can also decide as a group if we would like to set aside some time (~15-20 minutes) sometime during the week to go over difficult concepts and questions we are reviewing.

    b) Saturday: Practice test day! Again, we can decide as a group how we could like to set this up (ideally I'd like to stimulate an actual proctored test), and we can also interchange PTs with drilling and/or other exercises and activities.

    c) Sunday: Open discussion and blind review. Sundays will be dedicated to blind review, as well as for the group to discuss and go over any problems, questions, or breakthroughs from the week.

Proposed study schedule (all times in EST):

    a) Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM; 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

    b) Saturday: 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

    c) Sunday: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Again, the proposed study plan/schedule is just that: proposed. This can always be adjusted to better meet the needs of group members and to be more accommodating.

If you are interested, please comment down below or send me a message and I will send you a call/chat invite. I'd hope to have an informal call before we get straight to studying to meet and get to know one another (date TBD). As a quick reminder, however, please don't post any personal information (i.e., phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, etc.) in the comments.

Thank you so much for reading my post and I'm looking forward to hopefully studying with some of you!

TL;DR - proposing a virtual study group for the October and November LSAT test dates, with a tentative schedule and plan detailed above.

I started 7 Sage back in September of 2021 and it has been interesting to say the least. I decided to take on the course curriculum full time. I have followed and finished the core curriculum full time since September 2021 and am EXTREMELY dissatisfied. How can 7 sage possibly justify only a 12 point increase (136 to a 149) in 7 months of full time practice? In fact, in the past two months I have actually gone down 1 point and literally can't beat my best from two months ago. I put my trust in them and all I hear back is robotic responses. "Study harder", "Try our this and that at $$$$ amount", "Trust the process", "Blind Review". I understand that people learn at their own pace but there is a difference between difficulty of a subject and a complete diminish in return. I have come to the realization that 7 sage will keep me swimming in circles by repeating the same instruction that got me there in the first place. I train just as hard if not harder than many 170+ scorers and my time stamps show it. Unfortunately, I don't have a white picket fence life that allows me to write a check to 7 sage for $3,000 for for the best instruction tailored to me.

Hello everyone, I know this might be rare, but does anyone in UK currently prepare for lsat and want to have a study buddy/study group? I am about to take lsat on August and October respectively this year, and it will be cool if someone can study together :) either online or offline (I will be in london this summer and study part time, but we can adjust the schedule later.

Hello, I quit my job in October and have been studying full time since for the June LSAT, however I was not at all consistent at first and am barely finishing up the core curriculum soon and do not feel like I will be ready for June so I am thinking of taking the August LSAT instead. However, applications begin a month after which leaves little time to prepare my personal statement and letters of rec from professors. Is it likely to hurt my chances if I don't apply within the month applications open this cycle? My undergrad GPA is not good so I am really relying on my LSAT score to get into schools (aiming for 168+, first pt at 155).

Would anyone recommend taking the June LSAT anyways just so I can see where I am at and know how to prepare for August?

How many sections do yall recommend taking for the PTs? Seems like there's an option to simulate the modern LSAT with the 3 scored sections which (correct me if I'm wrong) might give a more accurate score estimate. However, it might be better to simulate all 4 sections for stamina building and mimicking actual test day. So... what do yall think?

@7sage staff is there an option to take all four sections but have only 3 sections count towards the score?

    Hello everyone!

This is my first time posting here and hope someone can give me some study buddy advice.

I took the LSAT Jan of 2021 and got a 140. This was after a 7 week kaplan course. After that, I didn’t take my studying seriously until November 2021. I purchased 7sage in November and have learned more than I did with Kaplan. I still haven’t taken a full exam because I’m barely at the point in LR where I understand the question stem, and I understand the stimulus. I still struggle with hard questions but at least I know what I’m reading and understand the question stem. However, I still haven’t gotten to LG or RC. Right now I’m consistently getting 15 correct and my goal is 20. Should I move to those sections after I consistently score 20 correct in LR?

When it comes to a study group or a study buddy what’s the best suggestion? Should I contact someone that also scored around 140 or slightly higher? I don’t know if someone with a higher score would want to help me when they have their own concerns.

Lastly, I had a terrible burn out so now I only study about 3-4 days a week 2 hours a day. I’ve balanced my life out with my full time job, the gym and seeing my friends. My prior study schedule had me isolated, and stressed out. Yes I’m studying less, and it may take me longer, but I have less stress and enjoying my life again.

    Any suggestions help. Thank you!!!

I still am waiting on decisions from other schools, but nearly all of my target schools have rejected me with one waitlist. I've also been rejected from two safety schools. While I expected mostly rejections mostly because of how late I applied, I wasn't expecting purely rejections.

I work at a firm now and am content staying here for the short-term, but I would prefer not to be here another year waiting to reapply. I would also rather bolster my GPA and LSAT than my experience, as my experience is good but my GPA and scores are definitely what are severely lacking on my transcript.

    So... what now?

I plan to take the June LSAT, and I want to ramp up my PT taking in the most leading up to it. However, I find I'm just barely able to manage one a week. I work full-time, so I take one PT over the weekend and use the rest of that time to Blind Review, go over explanations for tricky questions or anything I missed, and drill.

Every time I've tried to take a PT after work, I find that I'm far worse. I'm tired, I'm hungry because I need dinner, and my ADHD medication is starting to wear off, so it doesn't feel representative of my true abilities. I'm wondering how others work or are in school balance PT time with other responsibilities. Thanks in advance!

I wish 7sage could provide passage-only view in RC like the real test!

I found it helps outline the passage better in my mind.

Curious how many people actually uses this function on test day.
