Hi there. Looking to start a study group soon with the goal of achieving 160+ score by August.

I have taken the LSAT multiple times now with a top score of 150. Regrettably, both times I did not study as hard as I needed to. Before my most recent test, I studied slowly for 3 months and was PTing at 156. My goal is mid 160s. I improved in RC a lot, was scoring pretty well in LR, but have struggled with LG. I know that the LG section is the one that, if focused on, can cause major score improvements.

I do my best work in study groups and am hoping to form a group that is able to meet virtually and consistently 5:30-7:00 PM Pacific Time a few times a week. Hoping to create a structure for our meetings where we practice together, share ideas, strengths, weaknesses, and relate to one another as hopeful law school students. This is a stressful test and so is the process of applying to law school!

Comment below if interested. Thanks.

Hey everybody, I found out today I got a 168 on my March 2022 LSAT which is 4 points below what I wanted (172). It was only the first time I took the LSAT but I don't really have time or the energy to go for it again considering my heavy work schedule and personal situation. I was planning on going to Rutgers University my first year anyway because I live 5 minutes from the campus and then transferring after year #1. Has anyone in here had experienece transferrring after year #1 into a top 10 school? If I had straight A's all thorught year #1 with my 168 LSAT, could it put me into possibly getting into one of the Ivy league schools/top 10?

Also, if there's anyone you can refer me to that might know the transfer process well, I'd appreciate that.

Hi all,

I'm putting together an accountability group for the GMT-4 time zone. If you're working part or full-time, are studying 10-20 hours per week, and want to group with others to help keep you on track, message me. The focus of this group is to create a realistic accountability system where we help each other stay on track and motivated for this gruesome test.

Let me know if you're interested. Serious inquiries only.

I have 3.55 GPA and I think I can get around 170-178 on the LSAT. I know that this is something I have to discuss after I take the LSAT but I am wondering to what extent everyone around here is willing to take a loan out to attend a HYS Law or any of T-14 law schools. I think it is worth it to take a full 380,000 USD loan out to attend any of HYS Law, but I personally don't think it is worth it to attend any of T4-T14 law schools with 380,000 USD loan. I have seen folks who have graduated from lesser well-known schools and still end up as an associate making at least 150,000 USD per year. What I am saying is people don't walk around with a sign that says which law school they have attended: I think this mindset is too premature. Could you please share your thought on this?

Today, I took a 3 section prep test prep test and scored a 157. Then, I finished the final section on a prep test I've been dividing up and taking sections on different days (to simulate the four sections I'll have on test day). I scored a 172 on this test overall. All my other prep test scores have fallen anywhere within this 15 point range. I know a little variation is to be expected, but this seems extreme. Is anyone else experiencing this intense inconsistency? And does anyone have advice on how to combat it?

Hi I was wondering if any one could give me any advice? It's been 3 months of intense Logical Reasoning and under timed conditions I continuously miss 7-10! And then I proceed to look at the ones I got wrong and I don't look at the answer key I simply choose what would have been my second answer and I end up getting -1 to -3. And at this point I'm wondering if I'm just stressed or should be more patient and just get more tests under my belt to feel more comfortable. I'm at the point where when I review the Explanation Videos I can't really write any new notes cuz I'm already familiar with the answer style. I guess one thing that I have noticed that gets me frustrated is I don't really know at times if the LSAT wants me to use common sense logical analysis or deep conditional/causation/Comparison logic. I have literally gotten answers wrong that 91% get right simply because I went down a rabbit hole of being too naive that LSAT would never give an answer this simple. I know that that the first 10 should be easier than the rest but even then I can't help but notice myself get answer right that only 61% got right.. and miss an answer that 91% got right any suggestions???

I was just thinking to myself that a lot of JY's work, especially in logical reasoning questions, use diagrams and logically expressions. But on the digital test, I can't draw or write any sort of lawgic near the questions to help me answer the questions. We do get 5 pages of scrap paper, but I often find myself saving that for the Logic Games in the event that I get a double logic game section. Is there anyway around this limitation?

Please note: I am not asking to literally get around scrap paper limitations. I want to learn your strategy of dealing with difficult questions with or without scrap paper.

Hi everyone,

I have formal academic accommodations with my college for time and a half on exams. I have not had them before this and did not use them on the ACT or any previous standardized test. I’m about to take my first prep test and I know the lsat does time and a half accommodations. Should I attempt it with these or without? I have all necessary documentation to be approved for the exams but I guess I’m just not sure if it’s better to err that I won’t get them since I have heard they are very very strict even with documentation.

Thanks for your help!

This is so bitter sweet to post because I had been utilizing 7sage since 2019ish. I saw a lot of these type of discussions and always wondered when it was going to be my turn. This law school journey has not been the easiest and the LSAT makes it even harder. I took the exam 3 times and this was my second time (reapplicant) around applying to law school. From the forum on here to the resources , 7sage has been a tremendous help in my journey. The community here is great especially for someone who’s a first generation law student and really didn’t know how to navigate this type of graduate school. I went from a 135 diagnostic to 157 (I am not a splitter with my GPA) on my last take in 2021. I also took the test in 2018 and 2019 jumping about 8-10 points up each time. I had hopes of going to a T14 law school with a score above 160 lol (it was a priority to me because I am a non-trad and this is my second career-10 years post grad) but I was ok with whatever school said yes at this point because ya girl did not want to see this exam again. I applied to 17 schools ( didn’t pay for any apps, request the fee waiver at the beginning of the cycle) and was accepted to 2 and waitlisted at a bunch more. I’m finally going to law school and will be attending Northwestern Law with a scholarship. With that being said, as many of you might be embarking on your journey, keep pushing ,stay focused and keep your eye on whatever you desire.

Hey Guys!

I am looking for someone who is fully committed to taking the LSAT. I live in NYC located in the Bronx, and I would love to find someone to study in person. I have an open schedule and can host if needed since it is still cold. I am hoping to test in June, but I am considering pushing it back to August depending on where I am scoring next month. I am not new to the LSAT, but I still have much to learn and skills to hone.

If you are interested in gaining a committed study partner, please feel free to message me. I am ready to start with immediately, we can see if our schedules match. I am unavailable on Tuesdays, but I am available any other day of the week.

Looking forward to speaking to you.

Hey I'm looking for a group that can meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm EST to prepare for the August or September 2022 LSAT. Let me know if you're interested and I'll pm you! Was thinking of having it via Zoom.

P.S. I know there is a similar post made not too long ago but I wouldn't be able to make the timings due to my work schedule. So, I'm hoping to provide an option for people in the same boat!
