Is anyone from the Triangle area of North Carolina interested in forming a study group that is flexible to meet online or in person? I’m taking the February test, as well as the April one, so if anyone wants to partner up, let me know.

Aside from group study and accountability, it would be nice to also have it function as a local support group that can help ease the stress, or just to have another person who recognizes the source of your struggles. I’m hoping to find a balance between studying and support with others in the area who are also going through the same journey.

Worried April LSAT Taker

Hi! I took the January LSAT and got a 160 but I am really aiming to get as close to a 175 as possible (even though that might not be the most realistic goal). I’m not able to take the June LSAT and I will be applying to law school next application cycle, so I am currently planning on taking the LSAT again in April. However, I am feeling worried that I will not be able to see the score increase that I want, and I don’t know if my study plan is the most effective.

Currently I study every day for about 2 hours Monday through Friday, and I do timed drills/sections and review all wrong answers, alternating LR and RC everyday. I also take a full test on Saturdays. But I don’t know how much this is helping.

I would love any insight on study plans and if you think my goal is possible! Thank you!

Hey! If anyone is studying in the Ann Arbor area (MI) and wants to get together please feel free to reach out! I find it's really helpful to talk through questions sometimes, or just work in the same area for motivation!

Hi all,

I received my. B.A. in Politics recently and graduated magna cum laude with a 3.804 GPA on my transcript. The school I attended did graded on a "F" to "A" grading scale; there were no "A+" meaning the highest GPA was 4.0 and you could not possibly obtain overa 4.0. During an internship at my local SAO, the DA told me a 3.8 was a low GPA for law school, considering many will have 4.0+. How do I explain that in my LSAT applications? I ONLY got Bs to As on my transcript, but still feel like this may not be good enough. I know it's not a bad GPA, but it's not exceptional. In order to afford law school w/o additonal loans (I have some from undergrad but am under a PAYE repayment plan), I am hoping to receive at least 75% of tutition covered, so I am working to get into the high 160s-low 170s. Will not having a exceptional GPA possibly hurt my chances? I looked at the CAS GPA calculator and there's no grade scale that fits the grading criteria of my undergraduate curriculum, as the letter grade scale goes up to A+. I'm not able to see what the exact percentage I ended a class with was. I appreciate any and all advice and thank you in advance.

Here goes nothing

Going to be completely transparent, as an application, I have no idea where I stand. LSAT:146, GPA:3.70, plenty of work experience throughout college, current job I work I deal largely with the legal team and contracts. Going to apply with this score and hope for the best. Wish me luck, Hopefully I can come back to this post as someone who was able to get an acceptance to provide hope to anyone who feels like a bad LSAT score is the end of the world.

NYC Study Group

Hey guys, I'm looking to start an NYC-based study group for a small group to get together and work through drills, discuss strategies that are working for us and generally keep one another on track. I am anticipating this to be 1x a week in person.

I am averaging in the mid 160s on PTs right now and will be taking the test in June. If you are in a similar position and are in the area, shoot me a message. Based in Brooklyn but would likely meet in the city for ease of access.

Hi all! I live in the suburbs of New York (Rockland County) and am looking for a study buddy who also wants to hold each other accountable and ensure that we both stay on track and don't feel discouraged. I'm very open to anyone in Manhattan as well.

I plan to take the exam again in August which gives me 7 months of studying. I think that's ample time to exercise my brain muscles and get a much better score than my previous two scores. If you're also on the same timeline, I'd love connect (especially those who are in their early 30s+).

I'm taking the LSAT for the first time at a testing center on Feb. 7th. I am looking into it and realizing that the rules at these testing centers are pretty strict (thought it was much more casual). In the video the LSAC gives for the testing center tutorial, it seems like there is some level of security and a prohibition for bringing in certain items. I have not gotten a definitive answer on this, however: can I bring coffee into the LSAT at a testing center? Does anyone who has taken the test know? I perform better in practice testing while drinking coffee, funny as it may be, so it would be a shame if I couldn't. Please inform! Thanks.

I am feeling better since three weeks ago, when I was around -12 and -12 Blind Review. What does it mean if my blind review is better than my score? Often, I was between two answer choices and just chose the wrong one.

Thank you

I noticed that there's option to predict admissions for undergrads that don't have a gpa (like international or pass/fail programs). Is there any way to predict for these degrees, and if there is can 7sage add it? Also, how does not having a gpa affect admissions?

Focusing

Hi Guys, I work full time and study and I find it hard sometimes to be able to dedicate a lot of time each day, only because I cannot get myself past brain fog and inability to focus. Does anyone have any tips and tricks that have worked for them?

🙃 Confused

Charts and guides

I'm not sure if it's ok for me to ask this but does anyone have a chart guide explaining in short what to look for in the majority of cases for each question? I know this is like something general but let me give you an example.

Lately I feel like I've been doing very good in weakening questions with this "formula"

Weakening questions--> find another good explanation from the options

So, that's kind of what i'm curios about. Does anyone have some guide of that nature they wanna share ?

Hi Everyone!

My name is Sujene; I'm a new grad from UCLA, and I'm currently working full time while studying for the LSAT. Most of my friends aren't pre-law, so it's been a bit more difficult to find a group to relate to.

Would love to find someone or a group of people in the area to study with, particularly on weekends. I still live near the campus, so if you're in the Westwood/Century City/Culver City/etc etc area, please feel free to reach out!

If you're also working full time that would be ideal, but I'm still 100% open to anyone who's just in the area and studying.

I'm aiming for a 175+ and am extremely determined to do so. I know that it'll probably take me quite some time, so I'm likely going to take the test around June or August, maybe even later depending on my progress.

Feel free to reach out here or on Instagram! @sujenek

😊 Happy

137 Diagnostic -> 159 Jan LSAT

January scores released today and I bumped my score up 22 points from my diagnostic in early October 2025!!! The reading comp on January was tough which I think drug me down but overall am happy with the results! Thanks to 7sage for the studying help...couldn't have done it without you!

For reference I studied about two to three hours a day after my 9-5 M-T (I'm a legal assistant at my county's prosecuting attorney's office). On Fridays and Saturday it was more like 4 hours. Took a PT every Saturday starting at four weeks before the test.

Is there a way to see the timeline of improvement in analytics for drilling? For example I would like to see when I improved from 47% accuracy in Weaken questions to 65% accuracy. That way I can keep better track of what areas I improved on in each study session. Currently I am copying down my percentage progression by hand but if it were a digital feature it would be much more convenient!

Always below PT avg on real exam

A bit of a vulnerable discussion post. I was wondering if there's anyone else that on multiple real LSATs has scored lower than their PT average by a significant amount, and how they were able to overcome this? I consistently score 17mid-high, and cannot break out of the 160s on the real tests. What might the issues be? I'm always struggling to finish but only on the real test. SOS :(

I never performed well on my practice tests to be honest. My best score that I got was a 162 and I was averaging around the 150’s. I just got a 171 on my lsat I took which is up 8 points from my first one in November. I did that increase in around one month as, if I’m being honest, didn’t study much before I got my November score back on the 28th. Prior to that test I only had about 3.5 weeks to study.

Ask me any questions you like! If you are nervous about your practice test scores, there’s definitely still hope for you to get a better score than you think!

7

ive taken the lsat in oct and again in Jan and I’m just not seeing a proper improvement. I want to work with a tutor to get close to 170 if possible. I do have adhd so someone who understands and can work with that would be really helpful. Ideally id want weekly or even two sessions a week but my budget is super limited as I’m unemployed and my husband cannot afford to pay too much given our household expenses.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

study plan help

Hi all. This is so stupid but I have trouble coming up with an effective study plan. I am a full time student and usually study for about 2-3 hours for the LSAT a day. I am in mid/high 150s and plan to take June LSAT with a goal score of 170+. my hardest section is RC but I am focusing on mastering LR first. if there is a study/daily plan that has helped you or you think will be helpful, please let me know!

3

I’m not sure what happened my first exam. Nerves maybe? I have drilled over 2000 questions in 3 months and was consistently able to get even the most difficult questions correct within a minute.

Do I cancel my one and only score? I am registered for February already.
