I'm really struggling with LR. Im getting approximately -10. I've been studying since march and finished the LSAT trainer but I also work full-time. I don't think I will have time to go over the whole 7Sage curriculum. As such, I'm looking for a tutor for one month to help me prepare for the October LSAT. #help

hey does anyone know what the format of the lsat flex is? just want to confirm that it is one LR, one RC, and one LG and one random section?

For the October flex, when do we pick times? Will we get an email from LSAC?

I'm always confused about these questions. I don't understand if the question is asking you all the potential objects that can belong in the group, or the potential objects in the group in one instance.

For example (Prep Test 43, Question 18): "Which of the following could be a complete and accurate list of each of the office buildings that the falafel tuck serves?"

A. X

B. X, Z

C. X,Y,Z

D. Y,Z

E. Z

A, B, and E can be eliminated based on the fact that the stimulus provides that F must serve Y. The answer is D because the question meant "in one scenario". However, I read it as "all the potential trucks" the Falafel truck could serve. In one possibility, F serves Y,X and in another Y,Z. So potentially, F could serve all 3 leading me to answer choice C.

I'm definitely reading this question wrong. Can someone please explain to me the wording difference between when they ask for all potentials vs. in one possibility?

Hi everyone! I'll be taking the LSAT on Monday and I'm freaking out a bit. Everyone keeps telling me i'll be OK and that it's just another test. Frankly for me, it isn't. I am recent college grad in Florida. Graduated with a 4.1 GPA, political science student of the year, won new student organization of the year (founded an org for Latina in my campus community), and I am undocumented. This is the scary part. Public law schools aren't even an option for me, only private. I do not qualify for any merit scholarships from any public institution because of my legal status. If you're wondering i've been in the US for more than 20 years. I decided to go to law school because of a forced relationship I had with the law growing up. This included deportations, and separations within my family. I've never been one to talk about my anxiety but I feel so much pressure and I am afraid this will affect my performance. I have been scoring in the upper 160s. But SO AFRAID.

Any tips on meditating?

I'm from Massachusetts and BC is the only school with the JD/MSW program I want to do. As a back up I am wondering if it would be worth it to apply to this program in other states. UCONN and UMD have this program but I ultimately want to practice law in Massachusetts. I've read its only worth it to go out of state if it's a T14 school, but is it possible to take the bar in a state other than where you went to law school?

Is it okay to ask someone for two letters of recommendation? In addition to law school I am applying to three dual degree MSW programs so I need different letters for those ones and I wanted to make sure if it would be rude or not to ask for both from the same people

I really think E is the answer. But B turned out to be the correct one. Can someone please elaborate on why B would be the correct one and not E? thanks in advance

I am looking for a study buddy who lives within 1-2 hours of my time zone. I am MT and live in Denver. I am looking for a study buddy who would like to go through PT's with me where we would go over our answers and discuss why an answer choice is right or wrong. Furthermore, keep one another accountable. I am currently signed up for the August and October exam. Will be possibly signing up for November as well in case these exams do not go well. I score between 160-165 on PT's and would like to consistently reach 165 and over. On LG I am scoring between 0 and -2. LR I struggle with anywhere from -5 to -10. RC -5 to -10.

Hi! I do significantly better on timed full sections and drills than I do on full exam LR. I really feel like I choke under the pressure and find myself second-guessing questions which I should not be. Does anyone have advice for dealing with the pressure of a full exam?

I'm taking the August test on August 31st, so one week from now. I have been PTing multiple times a week for almost two months. I have beaten the score I want, but have also had some duds underneath it.

Only issue is right now I am so burnt. I never wanna see LSAT stuff again. I don't know if I should take a break or push through and keep studying. I feel like taking a break is not good right now, but believe me that I am so tired of doing LSAT stuff every day.

Is it good to take a break so close to the test?

So I just took PT 70 and scored a PB of 158- which is above my target score. I've taken 10 PTs now and generally average in the mid 150s.

I am torn on whether to take a couple more or to just thoroughly BR PT 70 and do full sections until my test on September 2nd. My reasoning for not taking more is that I am kind of riding a high right now, and I'm worried if I take another and perform worse that that could seriously hinder my confidence going into the exam.

On the other side, I've only taken a few of the newer PTs...

I'd appreciate any advice!

This is wrong though since I missed this question. It appears the correct translation is

Today I PT'ed a 172... something I thought I would never ever see. My diagnostic was a 157. I'm taking the August LSAT and this really gives me hope that I can actually do this and that Prep Test 63 wasn't an abnormally easy one... fingers crossed!! I am so happy

I've recently began simulating the LSAT Flex during my practice tests and have noticed that my scores are quite a bit lower than my regular practice test scores. Is there a reason why this might be?

Looking at my academic report and wondering which GPA schools are looking at. Or do they care about both?

So my timed PTs are stuck in the high 150s, but my BR has climbed to a 173. Is this just a timing thing? I'm thinking of just doing 2 PTs a week until the October exam. Is this even enough time to close the gap? Help!

I've been blessed to have seen a 10+ point jump and am now pt'ing mid to high 160s.

My goal is 168, but I would love to consistently get over 170 in PT to account for any nerves for the actual test in October.

I usually miss the 4/5 or 5/5 difficulty questions and I review them to see why I got them wrong. Somehow, I keep getting a lot of them wrong. I usually get 0 or -1 on LG and -5 in LR, (-7 if I misread/misinterpret the easier questions). RC is ... a flip of the coin for me. I usually get -5~-7 wrong haha....(RC is my worst section :'( ) Seems like I really need to improve LR and RC.

I would love any advice! I've been doing 2~3 PTs per week, but my test is in October and would like to do more in September to grind. How can one confidently attack those 5/5 difficulty LR questions? Should I just take 4/5~5/5 difficulty questions every day? and if you saw improvements in RC, what would you recommend?

I'm planning on taking the lsat early 2021 (applying fall 2021). I'm trying to increase my score by 20 points (shooting for high 160s). I'm looking for an accountability buddy and hopefully we can motivate each other as we complete the core curriculum =)

I know nobody knows what course the pandemic will take, but even when things slow down, do we think that the LSAT flex may still be offered long-term? For example, I'm looking at taking it April 2021, and was wondering if LSAC has hinted at the long-term nature of the flex. Any info would be appreciated!
