Yes, the way the curriculum is set up is for you to begin taking preptests after you get through the core curriculum. This way, you will be able to see what you need to work on more and go back to those specific questions.
I think you should give yourself more time to study. 15 preptests is not a lot. Maybe delay and take the June administration?
Also, you could try out other resources, like the LSAT Demon or the LSAT Loophole book.
