Question in title. I'm taking on Friday and wondering how it's going to work. How was your experience? Any insight on how it's going to work would be extremely helpful and would calm my anxiety lol

Hello!
I have just finished the core curriculum and I am starting to drill questions. I have heard about people keeping journals for their wrong answers and I plan to do the same. However I wanted to reach out to the community and see how you guys kept your journals! Was it written by hand, on the computer, and what did you write down for each question you got wrong? Anything is appreciated!
Also I have heard people keeping journals for questions that they felt they had a breakthrough with or just for other reasons in general. If you are one of these people, please share your strategy and how it helped for you!
Hey there, returning 7sage user here. Why is it required to have the 'LSAC Prep Plus' bundled with the monthly subscription? I don't remember this being a requirement in the past.
I am curious as to what the average LSAT score on 7sage is. I am asking because even on the lowest difficulty questions where 96%+ people get them correct, the average score for the answer choice is typically around 167. Does this mean that the 7sage average score is only slightly lower at around 165? That would be quite an impressive average score for the site. Using this average score as advertising could likely help to get more people to sign up.
I don't know if this is a problem with LSAC and not 7sage, but I could use some help from anyone who has had a similar experience. Regardless of whether I try to access and connect my 7sage and prep plus through the notification on 7sage or through the email sent to me via LSAC, I cannot seem to get past logging in. After I log into my account, the blank page just keeps infinitely refreshing. Has anyone else had similar issues? I've tried contacting LSAC via email but it's been at least a week and they haven't gotten back to me.
I just took the May LSAT Flex and came out of my test feeling VERY bad about it.
I'm considering cancelling my score but I wasn't sure how much law schools would care about a low first score.
I've heard that schools really only look at your highest score but is this true? Or could a low score possibly impact my application?
Hi all! I finally (and literally) bought into purchasing a prep course given my history with standardized exams. I self-studied for the MCAT a few years ago and did not do very well. I thought I could tackle the LSAT with Khan Academy, but once I started taking the PTs, I began to trend down from a 150 diagnostic. My goal was to take the June LSAT, but I'm almost 100% going to get a coupon and my hope is to a least take it by August (although I don't necessarily have to rush to take it by then, but would be ideal before I start my 40+/week fellowship). I normally study 4-5 hours/day and would like to keep it reasonable (have a life outside of LSAT)--any suggestions on prime amount of time to study? I know there's the study schedule generator, but it's suggesting I study 60+/week. I don't think that's feasible, but would like to hear more from others.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and can offer advice on how to use 7Sage having already had several months of self-study? Would love to hear from people who have been working with this for a few weeks at least, but any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Hi everyone,
On Wednesday, May 27, at 9 p.m. ET, I'll host a webinar with Gail Dauer, the former first reader of all applications at the University of Michigan School of Law and the newest member of the 7Sage Admissions team! Gail will shed light on how Michigan’s admissions process worked, when she gave files with low numbers extra consideration, and what made her pause as she read files with high numbers. You’ll get a chance to ask your questions at the end.
:warning: You’ll have to register for this webinar in advance.
:cookie: After the webinar, we’ll award one attendee a free Edit Once (see https://classic.7sage.com/admissions/enroll).
:warning: The webinar will be recorded, and we may post it on our site or on YouTube. We may also share the audio on our podcast.
→ Please register for the webinar here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_d1AMlym0S12cEjki6rgAVQ
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
If you want to ask a question, you should connect via a computer instead of calling in. We also recommend that you join the webinar a few minutes early and test your microphone.
I'm a little bit unsure if I should risk it at this point (probably not).
The unit next to me is super loud, from crazy loud music that I can hear all over my unit, and someone yelling or fighting anytime of the day. Been using noise cancelling headphones while studying or working. Some of the people at our floor decided to report them but the issue got more worse after all the complaints. In addition, my state just started slowly reopening and the construction next to our building just resume this week.I kept on pushing back my exam because of this issue. Originally signed for April, then switched it to June, now I'm signed up for July.
Sighed I just need a space to vent, hoping for better days ahead. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during this times :) Happy Studying!
I took about a dozen practice LSATs in my last prep course and want to upload those test results to the analytics tool here so I can better pinpoint where I'm going wrong. How can I input those results without having to take the entire test over again on 7sage's site?
Will any college accept my July 2020 LSAT score for August 2020 admissions?! Has this ever been done before? I understand this is a long shot. Looking to apply to the same school which I went to undergrad
So I decided to stop studying for the LSAT on July 2019 and focus on my school. Now I am going to restart. I was not doing that good actually so I want to redo the whole CC. Any advice on how to do this and in general any tips for restarting ?
Hi, all!
After some fits and starts and a few delays, I'm finally signed up, ready, and excited to take the June LSAT Flex test. And as I begin practice testing in earnest, I'm left with one question: Are Flex test takers able to use an ink pen during the test?
I ask because when I'm able to draw up my Logic Games game boards using a pen instead of a pencil, I find my game boards are tidier and that makes getting through the games simpler. I consistently score three or four points better on Logic Games when I'm able to use a pen.
I understand LSAC provided an ink pen to those who took the digital LSAT and I'm hopeful those of us taking the Flex test will also be able to use one. But before I start practicing with a pen, I thought I should ask the group to see if May Flex test takers were able to use a pen or if anyone has information I don't.
Thanks in advance!
did anyones study schedule randomly change ?? it added stuff to the prior week and im confused on what to do now?
I'm not sure which LSAT type I should be preparing for - I live in NYC, the epicenter of Covid19. What do you all think? LSAC hasn't responded to my emails.
Im assuming after May all the Flexs will count towards the policy. What about may specifically? Dave Killoran said its not counting towards the limit but like I dont see the official information that confirms it?
Aiming for 162, is it possible to increase my score by 7 points by the June test? I have gone through the core curriculum 3 times and have been stuck around 155 for weeks on the PTs. How can I improve? Should I invest in an lsat book or another online program? Average -4 LG, -7/-8 LR, -11 RC.
Hi Everyone,
I'm supposed to start law school in New York City in the Fall, but I'm genuinely confused about what I should do now. The idea of paying a ton of money to potentially be taking online Zoom classes seems like such a waste.
I'm curious what other people's thoughts are who are in similar situations?
Just for transparency, I have been in the work force and out of undergrad for 4 years, so I do have the safe option of just staying at my job. I know it is a different situation for those of you coming straight out of undergrad.
Thanks!
Hi all, I’m considering purchasing the LSAT Prep Plus from LSAC. I was wondering if anyone has any feedback regarding it? Has it helped you? Do you have any criticisms? TIA!
Good Morning Everyone,
I am taking the July LSAT, and I remember in one of the videos JY discussed in a rc passage explanation that you should do a warm up before doing questions. I was wondering if anyone does a warm up routine before the LSAT, and what should it be?
Hope everyone is doing well! Not sure if this has been discussed but I notice certain patterns/trends that are helpful in making a jump from 140 to 150 and I’m curious if any of you could share tips/insights that helped get into the 160’s and more specifically 165+ range. Aside from LG which I believe fool proof is key, study tips for LR and RC that helped with this would would be appreciated!
Should I do a Prep-test throughout studying (i.e. halfway through or 1/3 way through) to gauge my growth and see what I still need to focus on or should I leave them all till I'm finished studying? What are your thoughts?
During my last PT, there was some kind of glitch in my LR section. I was not able to see all of the answer choices and was shown only 3 answer choices for some questions or just 1 answer choice. I tried scrolling up (sometimes the answer choices are long) to see more but that didn't work either. I had to stop my PT and do a timed BR and then actually do BR. I'm not too sure if this has happened to anyone but if so, how did you solve this problem?
Thank you.
Hey all,
Can we think that "confusing a possible solution as the only solution" to be similar to "confusing the sufficient for necessary", or is there another nuanced difference between the two that I'm not quite catching onto?
Should I do a PT the day before my For-Real-Test?
