LSAT

Scheduling window seems open for November LSAT. ProctorU allows scheduling now. I was expecting it to be available at noon per LSAC's email.
Is anyone else having an issue signing up through ProctorU right now? I got the email from LSAC to sign up but when I tried scheduling a test time it shows "no active exams". When I tried to schedule an exam under "schedule a new session" it only offers my undergraduate institution as an option, not LSAC.
Anyone else experiencing this? ProctorU is a mess and I'm worried this won't be solved anytime soon. Anyone had any luck?
On all of the tests, the experimental section is either 3 or 4. Will it be like that on the LSAT as well?
The 7sage video says that the stim. says:
S -> (U or C)
thus, S -> (C -> U)
But this doesn't seem right?
Shouldn't the contrapositive instead be: (U and C) -> S ?
This question is in general very frustrating and confusing, but I need to understand how J.Y. came to the conclusions he came to.

I’m taking the November 2021 LSAT which is coming up in about 2 1/2 weeks, yikes! I keep averaging a PT score of 151 but my goal is to get to a 160. When reviewing I go back through the whole test to pin point my weaknesses and review those topics again.
Does anyone have any helpful tips that may help me in improving up my score?
Thank you 7Sage!! It took me 2 years of studying, lots of social events sacrificed, and some financial risks to get here. Still signed up for the November test, but we'll see. Happy to be done for now!
I'm rarely one to make a public discussion post like this, but I want to express my gratitude to 7Sage and encourage others to give it a shot.
In September 2019, I got a 156 after using PowerScore. I re-took in November 2020 after studying w/ Khan Academy, and saw a marginal score increase (162), but I was still nowhere near my goal score. I started w/ 7Sage in March of 2021 and told myself this would be the last time.
The 7Sage core curriculum helped me tremendously. Starting with such a great foundation (and treating my LSAT studying like an online class) really helped to raise my floor score. I found myself performing with greater consistency and was confident going into test day (a strange feeling!). Anyways, all this to say that I have been thoroughly impressed w/ 7Sage, and after having used other popular methods like PowerScore and Khan, I can say that this was the best prep regiment I tried hands-down. Excited to never have to think about this test ever again!
I am currently scoring around 172 with about -2 LR. People say the best way to learn is to teach, so I think if I explain my thought process in LR it will allow me finally close this gap. I could probably only be helpful for those scoring 164 and below. I'll probably be studying for a while today so feel free to stop by I'll just leave the zoom link here: https://nyu.zoom.us/j/9958274382
I am having a really hard time with RC. When I do full PT's and timed reading sections I am running out of time or rushing and getting -7 to -10 wrong. I definitely think that it is a timing issue because I have done 2 untimed reading sections and gotten -1 and -2. I am hoping to get down to -5 or less on RC in the next couple of weeks before the November test. What can I do to improve my timing? Any advice/tips/strategies is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
My Lsat score still has not posted. It states it's temporarily on Hold, But I still haven't received an email for the reason it would be on hold. Is anyone having this problem as well?
Got 161 at Oct 2020, Jan 2021 and oct 2021.
I feel like the whole year had been wasted.
I scored 168 on both of the newest PTs, and I feel really confident at the October test.
Anyways, congrats to all who get what you want.
I was consistently PTing in the low-mid 160s and BRing in the upper 160s. I just got my score back and it was 9 points lower than my most recent PT and two points lower than my August score. I am so discouraged and disappointed in myself. I know this test isn’t an intelligence test, but it sure feels like it. Going on over a year of studying and making gains right before this test, I was feeling so confident. I’m just at a loss for words and don’t know where to go from here. Sad.
Hey 7Sagers,
Here's the official October 2021 LSAT Discussion Thread.
REMINDER: Under your Candidate Agreement, you may not discuss the details of any specific LSAT questions at any time. For the October LSAT, general discussion of what sections you had, or how difficult you found a given section, or speculation about which sections were scored or unscored, is prohibited until after 9pm ET, Thursday, October 14, 2021.
Posts that violate these rules will be taken down and may result in disciplinary action from LSAC. Let’s work together to ensure the test is fair to everyone, and not share information before everyone has taken the test.

I don't know whether to be super sad or super angry right now, so I'll settle on both. My test ended up starting 45 minutes late because of "technical difficulties." NOT ON MY END; I checked everything the night before. On THEIR end, and they were just really unfriendly and unhelpful about it. I could not possibly hate ProctorU more if you paid me.
The connection kept on "dropping," according to them. I went through multiple technical agents. They told me to change my privacy settings, reboot my computer, and on and on and on.
By the time I actually got into the test, I was so flustered it didn't even matter that I'd studied for 9 months, felt 100% ready, and was eerily calm in the days leading up to the test. I already knew I wasn't going to do well, and I'm pretty sure I bombed the first half.
Now, luckily I was smart enough to sign up for November, so in another month I get to do this all again (joy!). I just feel like such a tremendous failure right now; like I wasted 9 months of my life, like it was stupid of me to dare hope I could do something as challenging as go to law school.
Commiserate with me, please.
Hi All,
JY makes copious reference to when rule becomes irrelevant in Logic Games. I have searched the core curriculum to review that lesson but haven't found it yet. Could someone tell me where that lesson can be found, please? Thank you.
Hey all,
Hoping for #Help, does anyone have a comprehensive list of rules on how to translate words into Lawgic? Like, every single indicator word I will see, the group its in and the rules, exceptions, bi-conditionals, all of that jazz, I totally understand how lawgic works once translated into abbreviated form, but, I seem to really struggle with translating it quickly enough and I am really unsure of myself which makes me freeze up, I am willing through most questions with intuition and doing quite well, but, the lists to help with translation that I have seen aren't exactly comprehensive, hoping someone who is as analytical as I am has gone to some lengths to make a more exhaustive list of words/rules and would be willing to share.
Am I the only one who is genuinely feeling pooped after the OCT LSAT? I signed up for November but my studying has been almost non-existent since my test. I feel awful because I should've kept pushing but I've been studying since June 2020 and my brain is fried.
Hey guys, I’m going to be taking the November LSAT in a couple weeks and I keep missing fill questions. What is the best strategy to tackle these?
I took the test on 12th. During my first LG section, when there was still around 8 mins left. I was doing the hardest duet one. Suddenly, the proctor shouted at me over the MIC that he wanted to see my ID. I didn't know what happened. I was so scared.
I took the ID and showed it to him.
He asked me: Are you done with your test yet? I said no(almost crying), "it's not, there is still eight minutes left."
He said: Oh, I thought you were done. Go ahead with your test.
He didn't press pause for the whole conversation, which cost me about two minutes, and I didn't solve this LG.
I am a non-native speaker, and the proctor also has strong accent. So I didn't understand her what he was requesting at the beginning.
And because of this incident I dumped the next session RC as well.(luckily someone told me the second section is experiment) I had very hard test make up. LG-RC(rap)-RC(Canadian writer- Paternalism) -LR
I've been thinking about it since Tuesday, it's so infuriating that I completed all the security testing before the exam. Have any of you guys ever been interrupted in the middle of an exam and asked to see the ID?
I quit my job on April and prepare it full time. This is my second lsat. I have been PTing consistently around 170. But I think I have been crewed up on this time.
Why why why? Why some random proctor can interrupted you on such a high stake test and bear almost no cost. Did he do that just for fun?
Can anyone explain to me how the new scoring is going to work and how I should prep for this with PTs? I'm registered for the November 13th test date and have been taking regular LSAT PTs. But I just realized that the new LSAT is a bit different and I have no idea how to adjust my score to reflect what I might actually get on the exam.
On my latest PT, I scored a 162 with a raw score of 78/100. Now that the test will only be three graded sections, how will this change my score? How many can I count on being able to miss in order to get a 170?
I really really need help with RC. I get like -15 and i'm taking the november test. can someone help me please?
Should you use the phase 2 memory method for RC for the real test?
thank you.
Hey all,
So, I got my August results and hit about my average of 155. I am not too disappointed in this mark as I was hovering around this for a while. The area where I struggle most is LR. RC is always between -7 and -11, so I do not want to focus on this area. LG is consistently -1 to -5. LR fluctuates the most with -8 to -16. I find that even when I am confident in an answer, I still get it wrong and once it is explained on here it totally makes sense. I can't seem to wrap my brain around it. I am planning on writing again in October and November. My goal is 160, so I am not too far off, and that should be good enough seeing as I have a great AGPA.
I am thinking that I will go through my practice questions on 7Sage again. I will do them timed, do my BR, and repeat this process until something sinks in.
I am wondering if anyone has any other tricks that worked for them with LR? While 7Sage has helped me a lot, I am just looking for some suggestions on LR studying that worked for others?
Thanks in advance,
Stephan
Does anyone else read an LR stimulus, answer it with confidence immediately, and the pause and reread everything again and then change your original answer, But then, your original answer was correct?
I have no idea what I created this habit weeks before the Nov. exam!
