I think the issue is not understanding the passage......it's how much time you are getting to understand

@DisneyFour based on the stimulus about the food labeling regulation it will offer 4/5 choices that could comply with the regulation. One choice will describe a situation that breaks the rule. If a situation violates the regulation, then it must be false that the regulation was followed properly in this instance.

I came for discussion but stayed for how disappointed everyone is on this question type.

Sufficient assumption: You're looking for what will solidify the conclusion. The Question stem helps in this; "Which one of the following, if assumed, ENABLES the economics professor's conclusion to be properly drawn?" in other words which answer if assumed will make the conclusion solid. Necessary assumption: you're looking for the answer that must be true in order for the premises to support conclusion. Question stem words that signal NA: required /es), depends... or language that implies essentialness.

One thing that has helped me is the negation test, identifying the argument/conclusion, and asking myself if I pick this particular answer will it hold the argument together. Food for thought

@TrinidadSilva As you read the stimulus understand what you are reading so you can develop the capacity to remember when you go to the answer choices, that way you don't have to keep going back to the stimulus more than you need.

I got this one right on BR. My questions have not been consistently right. Some questions I am able to get right, others I've gotten wrong. It's kinda frustrating nonetheless I continue. Hope everyone here also doesn't beat themselves up.

I think what's helping me with accuracy with these question types (whether S or W )is forgetting about that clock in the corner. Regardless of how long the stim and each answer choice is, I've made up in my mind that I WILL get this answer right regardless of how much time I spend. Reading carefully without putting 'pressure' has helped. Wishing everyone the same experience.....KEEP STUDYING EVERYONE YOU GOT THIS!

I got it wrong the first time, but I think doing a blind review and being more critical of grammar and breaking down the sentences/ subgroups helped me achieve a right answer a second time

@JiyoonLim I agree, one thing I am reminding myself is which answer will offer an alternative hypothesis which aligns with the stimulus

For those that are confused, I understand. But I think the main point of the video was to display the differences in question types, how to identify question types, and how to approach specific question types. Hang in there guys.

I think the biggest issue is after being drilled NOT to make assumptions to now make assumptions......

Reminder....all answer choices are to be deemed true. As readers we are looking for the one that will explain the paradox/difference!

The first question I got right on an RRE question type.....there indeed is light at the end of the tunnel.

DO NOT FEEL BAD THAT YOU ARE NOT MEETING TIMES! ITS BETTER TO UNDERSTAND CONCEPTS SLOWLY THAN TO MEET TIMES AND GET THEM WRONG!!!!!!

I feel like the LSAT just adds words and longer sentences to trip overwhelm you as a reader when questions increase in level. The way I broke this down was identifying the core what they were saying. Lutsina, is saying furutrisitc science is a richer source than conventional fiction and Priscilla is saying vice versa.

I had B first in mind but began to slightly panic when the narrator stated " if you like B you better be able to say there is a circumstance". However I'm glad I was patient enough to continue to sit through the video lol

The lesson on Hypothesis and phenomenon had been primarily helpful as I encounter the MC questions.

@epayne17 as time progresses you'll answer on time. Focus on accuracy. The more accurate you are at being accurate the quicker you'll become. You got this .

I think what helped me the most was the technique of identifying the cause and effect. For example:

Q1 states that all the people who ate the day old sushi suffered from poisoning .

This question is telling you a result... in essence an effect, but it is not giving you the actual cause of HOW they got sick. This stumped me because I used my 'real world' thinking and not logic.

Number 5 got me based on the wording. I was focused on potions and not the difference between potions and potions in the witch's hut. Reading carefully moving forward for sure!
