Call me Mike Ross bro no way I got this right
4/5 on hard. I’m stoked on these questions, much needed pick me up after NA
PAI final boss question.
I wish I could upload a photo of the bibble on fire meme. Anyways, I love these questions
if you saw my comment about skipping these questions on the exam... i retract my statement. Just had my ah-ha moment. Sometimes it takes a while but we must push forward my lads
I will 100% be skipping these on the test because wtf
How do we use the blind review??
These explanation videos are def helpful but I am a little lost on how we are going to get these types of questions right on the exam when it could take a minimum of 2 minutes to write out all this info as JY does....
Bro B is totally an acceptable answer idc what LSAC says. It bridges the gap sorry not sorry.
Starting to feel like its best to go with my gut on these
Wow 30 minutes into studying today and I already need a break
Im about to try this on hardest level will update. I know everyone will be anxiously waiting
For #3 - watching the explanation video doesn’t clear much up. JY states that
S (self motivated) NOT O (done for others) - (ARROW) - Not justified.
But if you flip this, then it would be:
justified - NOT s YES o.
That would make many of the answer choices correct. I did a terrible job of explaining that but if someone can decipher and explain that would be great.
Explanation video in question: https://7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-114-section-4-question-23/
Brah these explanations go way too in depth like my brain is melting by minute 10
I feel like this question REALLY banks on the fact of the conclusion being the most strongly supported. Easy to look over when you’re trying to make the overall argument of premises stronger (for me, at least)
Ughhh damnit. I thought answer A said commonly instead of correctly believe. Changed at last minute to B
lmaoo video response made me feel better
These lessons are killer! Short and to the point, I can see how this type of analysis will be beneficial to tackling these questions.
Ok as someone who is apparently really good at these questions, here are some things that I do that have gotten me the answers correct in under a minute:
1. Keep in mind what kind of parties the stimulus is talking about. In this question, we’re talking about two entities. Look for an answer that also is concerned with two (or however many) entities that map over to the stimulus.
2. Don’t worry if you don’t really understand what the stimulus is saying. It’s really not that important as long as you have a decent hold on what the stimulus is mapping out logic wise. Go over to the answers and choose which one you think matches best. There’s usually only two answers that even come close.
3. Read all the answers thoroughly while referring back to the argument in your head.
4. Don’t worry so much about picking an answer or skipping over one too quickly. For me, the right answer has almost always presented itself as the best out of all options, even if I don’t quite understand what it says.
