I got 1 right during all the lessons and 5/5 here I don't even understand what's going on
I don't remember there ever being a prescriptive/descriptive lesson. Why has this become such a huge part of things and it appeared out of nowhere?
at least i know ill probably be acing the regular Strengthen questions
I ruled D out immediately because I thought they were trying to trick me by placing a SA AC to try to trick me to not pick the NA. What the heck I'm so mad
i am not good at these at all
I really fell for A and feel like I would choose that answer choice again still even after explanation :/
I know we haven't gone over flaws in the modules yet, but if you have background knowledge on flaws, I find that it is helpful to read these arguments thinking about what the flaw about the argument could be. What's missing? And if you use the assumption, it would make the argument valid. Idk if that makes sense or is dumb but maybe it helps someone else.
I did bladed -s--> engraving
bladed -s--> /engraving
pin tipped --> engraving
the assumption i had written down was the amount of /engraving bladed is less than bladed + pin tipped combined
#feedback when you press show question, you should allow for us to highlight the stimulus so that we can pretend its a practice question. its impossible for me to try to find an answer if i cant mark up the stimulus. i want to be able to try to guess the answer before i view the lesson
My brain is getting better at recognizing that when they keep reusing very specific phrases they are cluing you in that you are supposed to use that as one of the terms to connect to the conclusion. "makes sense" appeared way too many times for it to be unimportant
Not sure why these "harder difficulty" ones are much easier for me than the easy ones...
I'm struggling with believing it's ok to make some assumptions on the past two questions. For this one "change" -- change in previous sections has always been pointed out as vague
is it really highly encouraged to use lawgic for these types of questions? I don't find it necessary so far, but I don't want it to trip me up in the future and wonder what to get in the habit of
My face was like :O when I got 5/5!!! I struggled with this section at first I'm shocked I am improving :,,)
this completely lost me. i dont think i can get better at these
This is so time consuming... is there any way to do this faster..?
I feel helpless. I wish these sections would have more fundamental explanations on strategy instead of just sample questions.
why do i always get the easy ones wrong omgg
for RRE questions, is it suggested to choose the answer and move on as soon as we read one that makes sense or should we always read them all to be sure to fully execute POE? Just wondering for time
:( i had all the logic written down correctly, but i didn't choose B because i thought that answer choice was saying the terms in the wrong order. saying like if necessary then sufficient.
I didn't quite get 2 and 3 but they made sense after doing 4 and 5.
i haven't been confused until parenthesis started being involved. like what the heck even is this
I feel like these questions should be so easy, but I'm not doing as well on them as I thought I would be. I am reading the stimulus and identifying what each sentence's role would be, but the answer choices are so friggin awful
