Study Groups

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a few people who would like to study in a group setting. My main objective for studying in a group is to help each other process answer choices and question stems. Sometimes I get too caught up in my head and overthink things, so this study group would be beneficial to others who do the same. I'm comfortable with setting up study sessions via Skype, Zoom, or Facetime. I personally study every day to prepare for the November sitting so, if you're interested, please reply or message me. I'm looking to start Saturday/Sunday, on a weekly basis. If you're serious about studying also, then you're the person/people I need in my group. Hope to hear from you guys.

I'm located in EST btw.

Hi! I just took the August LSAT, but I think I'm going to take the November test, too. I'm currently scoring in the low-mid 160s, but I'm hoping to reach the high 160s/low 170s by Nov. Please let me know if you want to study together! (Currently living in the EST)

I took the August flex and didn't feel as comfortable with RC and LR as I would have liked. If anyone would like to blind review with me please message me! My LR is anywhere from -0 to -4, and RC is all over the place: -2 to -7.

If you're scoring around the same and are interested in doing a lot of RC this next month lmk!

Hi guys! I wanted to create a study group where we all do LSAT prep and study together. I personally have had a hard time doing the LSAT independently, especially when I need clarification on problems. I thought I could create a group where regardless of the test date, we help each other out with prepping and navigating the LSAT! I do plan on creating a GroupMe and also do Zoom study groups as well. Let me know if you are interested so I could create the GroupMe!

*I also have some practice test and resources! That way it would be easier and help us be on the same page with prepping.

Here's the GroupMe link: https://groupme.com/join_group/61869780/6dx4XjOY

Hi 7Sagers,

For the last two months or so, my only problem left is the RC section and inability to understand some minor details, I have been drilling RC passages and trying my best to improve my English proficiency by reading tons of Economists articles during free time. Are there better ways to improve English proficiency? Any success stories from other non-native speakers? If yes, how long did it take them to achieve desired English proficiency level? Thanks in advance.

Study group wise, I have been PTing anywhere from 169 to 175, mostly in the low-170's range. My goal is to break into the mid-170 level by October, and that pretty much means to get RC down to around -3 consistently. Please message if you are interested, and I am really willing to meet others who are trying to improve RC as non-native speakers or have been successful on RC as non-native speakers.

I am looking for a couple of people who are struggling with RC.. for the October test.. currently scoring in the 150's -160's.. I am wanting to do one passage per day timed and then do a blind review as a group.. for example one test = 4 days worth of passages.. If interested please message me and I will get a group going.. I have friends who did this and they went from -10/-12 in RC to -2/-3.

Thanks,

Madison

Hey I want to create a study group to BR with 2-3 times a week. I have found this to be the most useful for improvement. I have broken 170 only once and my average is 168! I would love to study in a group in the same range. RC is my weakest!

Tutor Needed

Hello,

I'm really struggling with LR. Im getting approximately -10. I've been studying since march and finished the LSAT trainer but I also work full-time. I don't think I will have time to go over the whole 7Sage curriculum. As such, I'm looking for a tutor for one month to help me prepare for the October LSAT. #help

Hey!

My name is Austin. I am looking for anyone who's interested in establishing a support group/chat. I have taken the LSAT 3 times with my last attempt coming this weekend in August. My PT average is about 159, but I am more focused on just the mental support. It would be great to keep the group going even through application season this fall/winter. If you are interested please let me know!

Hi! Looking for a study buddy that is good at logic games and needs help with RC or LR. I am PTing in the mid-160s and want to be at least 170. (LG is what is keeping me away from my this lol) I am taking the October test and am in EST time. I was thinking we could take/review practice tests together. Please message me ^.^

I'm planning on taking the lsat early 2021 (applying fall 2021). I'm trying to increase my score by 20 points (shooting for high 160s). I'm looking for an accountability buddy and hopefully we can motivate each other as we complete the core curriculum =)

Hi friends,

My name is Tyler. I've found that studying for the LSAT alone has become a bit grueling, to say the least. I've been using 7sage for the past 3 weeks and am ~20% completed with the core curriculum. Scored a 140 on my cold PT, but i'm determined to hit 160 by early October. I'm hoping to put together a small study group of 3-5 people that are at a similar stage in their journey. If you're in need of some support, drop your email address below.

I'll be sending out an email early this week to coordinate schedules/meeting times. I'm thinking we can hold a zoom meeting once or twice a week to talk through challenges, learnings, experiences, etc. More detailed outlines to come...I look forward to meeting all of you and conquering this exam together!

As an FYI, I'm on PST just in case that's a dealbreaker for any of you.

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering what people's thoughts are as to guessing on questions you don't get to/are uncertain of on PTs.

I listened to a 7sage podcast and J.Y says to always leave these blank, so that you can remove the element of luck and better gauge where you're at skill-wise.

I have been implementing this practice and I think it may be having a negative psychological effect on me. My PT scores have been ranging from 153-157 while taking this approach and consistently seeing my results be lower than what I think they could be is rather discouraging.

For perspective I tend to not get to about 20-25 questions per test.

Should I just try to get over this psychological hurdle, or should I just start guessing on those questions and boost my confidence?

Thanks in advance!

Looking for a study buddy to work with mostly Saturday and Sunday, Monday if you have it off too. I have been working on LSAT prep for 1 year now, I'm just coming out of 7Sage Core Curriculum and hoping to take the test November (depending on where I'm at on my PTs), or January. My last PT, six months ago, was in the mid-130s. I'm aiming at 160s.

I'm currently working on taking untimed practice sections for LR, I'm doing Fool Proof for LG, and doing untimed RC. To be honest, I'm hoping to work with someone to hold me accountable for BR because doing it alone has been difficult. If anyone is in a similar situation or would just like to work with me, message me, lets get to know each other and see if we can partner up for this journey!

Hey study buddy!

Hello everyone,

My name is Meek! My diagnostic was a 151, but took another PT two weeks ago and hit a 148 lol.

I'm looking for a study group of people currently on the cc spectrum who aren't doing pt & br just yet :) We'll discuss questions and/or bounce ideas from cc material (e.g. lessons, Q-sets, etc.) and move forward from there!

I'm currently at the 40% mark and hoping to finish the cc as soon as possible. I can't wait to start on pts & br, and crack 160 by October!! Will be taking the Nov. LSAT and a couple more after that, haha.

If you're down, please comment an email you're comfortable with and we'll move forward from there!

oh, and just an fyi - anyone, anywhere on cc is welcome! Study groups often lean toward gen. accountability anyways :)

Let's goo.

Looking for 2-3 people to review 1 LR section per week on Saturday (beginning from PT 63). Meetings will be held over Zoom or Skype, and will cover only questions we each found difficult (this way, we should be able to finish within 1 hour)

Update: Hi all, I unfortunately will not be able to meet for this group anymore, but feel free to contact any of those who commented and arrange meetings.
