Hey J.Y.,

As I am going through the videos, I hit "next". Every time I have been clicking "next", the next page says something along the lines of "You do not have access to this content, please upgrade". I can only rectify the situation by clicking back to the previous page and then hitting next again. Any chance of solving this technical problem? It's not the biggest issue in America by any means, just a pain.

Thanks!

Hi,

I am looking for study partner who is committed to get through this tough LSAT journey together! I took a TestMasters prep course last October and been studying since then. I have studied several books including Trainer, Manhattan books, Bibles etc. I found studying partner system to be one of the most efficient and effective ways to push each other hard and share the strategies together.

I would like to meet up if you live around Los Angeles area. I would also like to get in touch through Skype or Phone. It be very good communication tool and convenient. I am down to talk any time. I would like to take a Mock PT together and review. Please contact me at 213.700.3059 or michellemoon0708@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm just took the June LSAT, and I basically took it cold turkey (stop judging me, I can practically feel the disgusted glares as I type). I am already planning on taking another one in the Fall, but I can't decide if it would be better for me to take the September test and have a guaranteed early admin result, or to wait until December and have more time to really study. I'm expecting this score to be somewhere in the 150's, and honestly the test doesn't really stress me out, I just want to be confident in achieving a higher score. I know that I am capable of the score that I want (168), it's just a matter of putting in the time to really hone in on the skills and methods to taking the test. My plan is to study my butt off until I take it again, I was really disappointed with how much prep I was able to do before this last one, but I already have all of the PowerScore and LSAC books so I'm ready to go. So suggestions on when I should take it again?

I am looking to study with someone for the September LSAT. Getting help from each other, by giving tips, advice, and having someone to follow the same journey as me this summer! I am a 4.0 student but this LSAT is kicking my butt right now (been studying for only a week now). But I won't let it get to me!

If you are interested let me know.

I have a problem turning the necessary condition into words sometimes.

For example, the sufficient condition reads well:

Zombies attacking the city makes it sufficient for me to know the market will sink.

Z -> S

But for the necessary:

the market sinking is necessary for me to know that zombies attacked?

The market sinking is necessary for zombies to attack the city?

or maybe

It's necessary for the market to sink if zombies attack the city?

How do I make this into English correctly?

http://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-34-section-2-question-01/

I’ve been struggling with questions like this. It’s clear that the author is using an attack on the character of the writer, but that part where (A) says “as evidence that this person is not competent on matters of scientific substance” is not descriptively accurate. The author’s argument doesn't mention R’s competence on matters of scientific substance, it only tries to say the _book_ doesn't merit professional attention.

Hello!

Simple question + looking for confirmation.

If a rule says: If Sarah is cool, she will go to the party with her sister; otherwise, she will not.

Sarah cool ---> Party with sister

~ Sarah Cool ---> ~ Party with sister

Yes? I read somewhere that this is like an 'if and only if' rule... can someone comment?

Their contrapositives:

~Party with sister ---> ~Sarah cool

Party with sister --> Sarah cool

On the MC Score Sheets, at the top, it requests the LSAC Account Number, the Social Insurance Number, the Center Number, and the Test Form Code. Are we required to memorize all this information?

Hey everyone, if someone could give me a quick explanation on failing either the sufficient or necessary I would greatly appreciate it.

In LSAT Prep Test 15 (June 1995) - Section 4 - Logic Game 3 JY does exactly that during question 19. Here is a link: http://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-15-section-4-game-3/

There I asked, "Can I get clarification on how rule 5 becomes irrelevant during question 19? I usually understand satisfying the necessary but this mixed me up. If F is on 4 and 6, then J has to be on 3; that I understand. Because of this, G does not have to be on 1, correct? However, it still can be. When the necessary condition is satisfied through the question stem (as that is what happens in 19) then sufficient condition (G) becomes a floater?"

Furthermore, JY also shows a similar scenario when explaining rule 3 here: http://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-11-section-1-game-2/

Thanks!

This question really bothers me. I do not understand it. PT 68-part 2, question 21. This is a disagree question about why law firm decided to settle a case instead of going to trial. Do we need to assume that jury/judge would not award more than the legal fees if the case went to trial? Why are they talking only about settlement and not judgement?

Can anyone give me a good example of "the only" as a sufficient conditional indicator? Possibly differentiating it from the 5 "only" (only, only if, only where, only when, only those).

Reference to these: http://classic.7sage.com/lesson/4-translation-groups-cheatsheet/

I know I can just plug in "the only" to "all" in the phrase "all horses are strong" but "the only horses are strong" doesn't make sense to me immediately. I would really appreciate a great example!

+ I would also appreciate a good example of "always" as a necessary conditional indicator :D

Has anyone created their own LG pkg sort of like the Cambridge pkgs that you wouldn't mind sharing? I know I'm asking a lot. LOL I've started and stopped trying to complete my own pkg a few times. I'm looking for maybe a list of each question type for each LG question type for all LSATs available. I have LR pkg just didn't want to pay for the LG pkg just yet. Anything would be greatly appreciated!! Also, those who have purchased the LG pkgs, is it worth it?

Hi guys,

Sorry for the endless score-related posts I've been doing!

I have been doing a couple PTs a week lately, and I've seen a very gradual increase to about a 162 average. The other day I got a 167, but the next PT I took was back down to 160. The 167 was when I had the entire day dedicated to the test, and the 160 was after a long day at work. Do you think this is enough to account for the score discrepancy, or was the 167 more likely a fluke?

Of course you are. You're about to take an important test. It's not the most important test though. That one you will be taking in September.

Just kidding. This is likely the last LSAT you'll ever take.

I'm only trying to remind you that for something this important, there are second chances. That's not true for a lot of other important things in life, so that's something to feel good about.

For most of you, you already know what score you'll get. Take your last three recent properly administered LSAT PrepTests (e.g., 69, 70, 71) and average your score. You'll get plus or minus 3 points of that average.

There is nothing separating you from that score except the mere passing of a few day's time.

You are as prepared as you can be. You have already seen everything those crafty LSAT writers will throw at you and you've amply demonstrated your ability to respond with craftiness of your own.

Monday will not be a new day and the June 2014 LSAT will not be a new LSAT. It will only be "LSAT PrepTest 72" which will be just like PT 71 and PT 70 and PT 69 and so on.

For Monday, remember only this: keep moving.

You will encounter a few insanely difficult curve breaker questions. Every LSAT has them. Every student who has ever taken the LSAT before you has encountered them. You will encounter them (again) on Monday. I am telling you this now, so you will be prepared. Skip those difficult questions. Maintain your rhythm.

Keep moving.

You got this.

I was wondering if you guys went over whole of the curriculum first and then started doing full pretests, or were you doing them as you go along ? Also were you doing whole length pretests or just sections?

-Thnx
