I applied to a school before getting my LSAT score. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with how long it usually takes for LSAC to send your completed report to schools?

Can someone help me understand this logic? Why is D the right answer?

I've taken a couple of prep tests and haven't really seen any improvement. Should I be drilling more? Go back to lessons? How do you guys make the most out of what 7sage offers and how can I see more improvement? Taking the LSAT in September 2024.

I am having trouble wrapping my head around question 25 of LR section 2 of the November 2019 LSAT. The question states:

"The generalization expressed below most helps to justify the reasoning in which one of the following arguments:

An arrangement of objects tends to be aesthetically pleasing to the extent that it gives the impression that the person who arranged the objects succeeded at what he or she was attempting to do."

I tried to diagram this since that is how I think about questions like this, but am confused after watching the answer key video. Does anyone know if this should be, "Aesthetically pleasing -> Impression of Success" (Aesthetically pleasing requires the impression of success) or "Impression of Success -> Aesthetically Pleasing" (if there is an impression of success, then we know it is aesthetically pleasing)? I think it is AP -> IS but am not 100%.

I am finding mixed responses when trying to search this question online, if anyone can help figure this out. I also am not sure why answer choice B of this question is wrong. Answer choice B says:

"The wooden panels in the art installation probably are not arranged in the way that the artist wanted them arranged, for the installation is less aesthetically pleasing than other installations."

Does that tell is ~AP -> ~IS? (given it is not pleasing -> did not succeed?)

I know that receiving consulting can make a student seem privileged and maybe even negatively impact their application if it came down to them and a student who did not receive that service, but what about tutoring? Would an explanation for that be more plausible? I am thinking of receiving it because I tend to not be a bad test taker and I have been able to save money. I’m also a first-generation, low-income student.

At my university, we have discovery credits, which allow us to designate 1.0 credits of undergraduate courses as pass/fail on transcripts. Having recently completed my fourth year, I'm considering utilizing one of these credits for a course from last semester, which would boost my GPA. However, I'm curious about whether law schools might view the use of discovery credits unfavorably. If anyone has experience with this, please let me know (I am applying solely to canadian schools). I started out well on the MSS section, but did worse as the problems got harder (4s and 5s). Should I move on to the next lesson or tighten up my understanding of MSS?

What one on one tutors have people worked with and found to be effective? I feel like I have maximized everything and I just don't feel like I'm progressing. I'm nervous I won't hit 175 by August exam. Pls help.

I had a quick question regarding answer choice C: Most agree that introduced species can cause extinctions.

The passage says that ecologists realize that when humans introduce new species into existing ecosystems, even pristine, species-rich habitats are threatened. So I thought that because it says "ecologists think", we could say that "most ecologists agree that."

However, is the reason this is wrong because when the LSAT says "ecologists think", we don't know exactly how many ecologists that think that? E.g. it could be 2 ecologists think, but it would be not provable to say that it's "most ecologists think".

Just curious to see if this is an actually right interpretation of the difference between these concepts. Thanks.

Which type of drilling mode for LR is the most accurate/ close to the actual LSAT? The options are:

1)7Sage Virtual Tutor picks

2) Particular tags

3) Tags and PrepTests

4) Incorrect when last taken (PrepTests)

5) Incorrect when last taken (Autobuilder)

Which option should I select? I usually do option one, but I feel like its practice sections always consist mainly of 3-4 question types. For example, I will generate a practice section with made up of mostly Flaw, Parallel, and Method of Reasoning, while no Sufficient Assumption, RRE, MSS, etc., appear at all. Is this what LR sections are like on actual LSATs?

Hi! I literally just began studying and am thinking of buying the power score LSAT bibles to supplement my studying. I’m planning on taking the test after August, so should I only get the RC and LR bibles and not the LG bible? Is there any chance that logic games will be included in some capacity even if the official section is gone (and therefore it would make sense to get familiar with the material)?

I am currently enrolled at a law school (set to come in Fall 2024), but I am thinking of deferring because of life circumstances that have come up. Deferring would mean that I would have to withdraw all of my applications from places I have been waitlisted at, some of which are schools that are my top choices. In addition, I would not be able to reapply to other schools while deferred, this makes total sense to me. However, if I were to in the future decide I would like to apply to other schools, would I be able to withdraw from the law school I deferred and then apply or would I not be allowed to do this?

My agreement obviously does not comment on withdrawing and then applying to other schools and I have not found a resource out there that provides this type of information.

The deferral form I would sign says "I will not apply to other law schools while holding a deferral " so I am wondering if I were to withdraw, could I then apply to law schools because I wouldn't be bonded by the contract anymore?

I figure this is because it’s a tricky route to take. Would appreciate any of your advice. Thank you!

I am taking the new LSAT with just LR and RC. Which basleine exam should I take? 7Sage did not direct me to one when I started the curriculum.

I was PTing for August before the new formats came out and now all of my old data is locked away in the old format section, including the questions I've already taken. Really unfortunate that I can't see which PT's ive already unsealed when looking at the new formats, need to constantly be switching back and forth. Can you guys please work out a fix to merge progress between new and old formats, specifically which questions we've already done? Annoying I'm paying for 7sage and wasting time on spreadsheets when you guys have all the data #help

Hey I am very interested in joining and just want an idea on how to even approach this course. Currently I am thinking about going through all the curriculum(I have 8 hours a day to spend on this), taking a diagnostic test, seeing where I am at, going to sign up for either a class or coach version, take drills and get a custom study plan. Is this a good plan, what plan do you suggest? I also want to know how do i know when to take my prep tests, do you guys offer any type of timing or anything so i can know whether or not I am taking an exam to early or too late. Also what is the difference between the coach plan and a private tutor. I mainly just want to have a structured plan (without me having to guess when I have to take a exam etc) while also getting real feedback?

I am completely underwater with this section, I don't get it at all. I have review the lessons and still don't understand and now looking online. Any tips? Please help

Hi, I noticed in my analytics I was struggling with Math questions. It seems to be a new subject on 7Sage as I noticed the option was added in drills recently. I have tried drilling these, but I haven't noticed any similarities between the questions that could constitute this concept. I was hoping someone could give me insight on what Math questions are.

Hi! I've recently started taking my lsat studying seriously (I started studying end of may and have consistently been working for about 5 hours per day which I will continue for the next few months). I'm wondering what LSAT exam I should be taking. My diagnostic score was a 157 untimed (I'm an anxious person in general so I'm sure if I took it timed right now my score would decrease). I am hoping to increase overall to a 165ish, and I am wondering how long that generally takes to achieve that score increase. I know this stuff isn't linear, but I'm looking for a general idea. I haven't really had anyone to guide me through this process at all (applications, LSAT prep, or otherwise), and I thought that taking the LSAT in October would be perfectly normal, but I'm now realizing that maybe it's not if I would like to apply to schools by December of this year. I don't know if I'm on the right track at all, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated! #helpme #inquiry

I chose B but its wrong since argument says that fertilizer use will be reduced, it doesnt say we dont have to use fertlizers anymore. If it had said that we dont need fertilizer then it would have been correct.

C is also attractive but it doesnt set the conncection between why the need for fertilizer will be reduced

D isnt relevant

E is correct because if E wasnt true then there would be no argument.

Hi All!

I am preparing my application materials for the upcoming cycle including various essays (personal statement, etc.). I noticed that there is a compiled list on 7Sage of the required/optional application materials for schools. However, for some schools there are optional essay topics listed that aren't listed on the schools' websites (ex: Cornell). I was wondering if that means that there are questions that we only have access to after the application cycle begins.
