Hi I have a quick question on Q12, the disagreement question. I understand that passage A supports the idea that public funding can encourage the establishment of social capital. But I am not clear why B disagrees with it.. Is it because public funding creates arts that people don't like? It's the latest released test and I can't find any explanation on this online. I am wondering if any 7sager has finished this test and would be so kind as to help! Thank you!

Hi Everyone,

I'm taking the LSAT at a hotel because the wifi at my house is kind of spotty. I was wondering if I can have the TV in the room or if I should call the front desk to have it removed. Also trying to pick a spot in the room where I am going to take the test so anything else that might be relevant in terms of what I can / can not have near me or in the room. Thank you!

Can anyone help me work through number 20?

I think the sheer amount of language in here is what's throwing me off. But summarized as generally as possible, I think the stimulus is saying.

"Klemke thinks that the complaints are unfounded bc the complainers are biased. However, being biased would NOT prevent you from being badly treated. Therefore, the complaints are justified (not unfounded)"

So is the argument flawed because it asserts that Klemke's argument is inadequate even though it is adequate?

    I'm just lost :??

    **Admin Notes:

  • Deleted the stimulus because it is against our Forum Rules to post LSAT questions on the forum.
  • Amended the title: Please use the format "PT#.S#.Q# - brief description of question"**

Im a little confused regarding this question. wouldn't B be a more accurate answer because the park ranger is saying people shouldn't get tickets for laws they don't know since they haven't don't a good job making the law known to the public? but after they do a better job making people aware of the new regulations they can start giving tickets?

My name is Scott Milam and I am one of the managers of the 7Sage LSAT Tutoring program (find out more here: https://classic.7sage.com/lsat-tutoring/).

As we enter the last week before the November exam, I just wanted to share some last-minute exam-prep tips to the 7Sage community.

SLOW DOWN - The LSAT isn’t a chemistry final where you can cram the periodic table the night before. It’s a mental marathon that tests your ability to perform under pressure. The worst thing you can do is show up on test day mentally exhausted. Relax, slow down the pace of your studying and let your tired brain recover.

STAY IN SHAPE - While it would be a mistake to overwork yourself the week before the test, you don’t want to completely let yourself go either. Take 1-2 timed sections a day to keep yourself in fighting shape. One section should be Logic Games and the other should alternate between LR and RC. Don’t worry about scoring them - the point of these exercises isn’t to get perfect scores but just to keep your timing from getting rusty.

PRACTICE THE WAY YOU PLAY - Take your practice tests and timed sections in the same setting as you will take the real LSAT. Use the same computer, the same lighting, the same pencils and take it at the same time of day as your real test. Take your timed sections on the Lawhub interface. This will improve your retention on test day and reduce your anxiety by tricking your brain into thinking the LSAT is just another practice test. It will also help you identify any problems with your setup before the big day.

RELAX - Anxiety is your worst enemy on test day. The best preparation you can do in the last week is lower your ambient anxiety levels. Set aside intentional time to relax. Spend time with family or pets, meditate, go on a walk, or get a massage. If possible, reduce your use of stimulants in the week before the test (don’t go cold turkey, but ease off the red bull and double espressos).

GAME DAY PREPARATIONS - The night before the test, get a good night’s sleep. Eat a good breakfast and run a last minute tech check on your computer and network. Gather all your test day items (water, mirror, paper and pencils). When you log in, politely ask the proctor to pause your time if they need to talk to you during the test.

Finally, from all of us at 7Sage, good luck next week!

I'm currently focusing on RC and get about 8 to 10 wrong. I'm not sure what is the right way to review your wrong answers? Usually I'll just re-read the question and look at the right answer and say "oh, that makes sense". But I know that's not good enough. Any tips?

I interviewed with UVA a little over 2 weeks ago. It went well and they told me they'd get back to me "very soon." I've heard most people who are accepted to UVA get a phone call no more than a few days after the interview but I haven't heard anything. Really stressed over this... UVA is my top choice. Any words of wisdom?

If anyone could give a breakdown for these two questions, it would help a lot! For #13, I was able to narrow it down to A and B but don't understand what makes B correct and A incorrect and I'm at a complete loss for Q22.

For 13, I picked A because the passage presented markets as this self correcting thing. It showed how inside information seemed to just spread amongst investors and so I thought the situation in the question stem matched that as well.

As for 14, I thought thermometer matched because the markets according to passage B just gauges majority opinion of investors but why does thermostat match passage A? And what is the difference between a typewriter and a word processor?

For 22, I picked A thinking if it were difficult for international agreements to be put in place to protect endangered species, wouldn't that mean more species would bring about more endangered ones? E just doesn't make sense as an answer to me but it's correct so...

I applied ED and application went complete about 10/28. Was just invited for a group interview today. Does anyone know how a Georgetown interview usually goes? Formal or informal? Insanely nervous in a good way. Want to be as prepared as possible.

    Test score changes

I am taking the November LSAT and I keep seeing my score change, I cannot seem to get LR and RC down but more LR, my highest score has been a 149 and I need at least a 153 to get into the law school I want, what should I do?

    Hi All,

First and foremost, hope everyone is having a great week and I wish November LSAT test takers all the best. We got this.

I received an email from LSAC today as I will be writing the November exam. The email had information on how to reach LSAC on test day if tech issues arise.

I really hope I will have a smooth test day experience. If I do need to call LSAC on the test day due to tech issues, does anyone know if I can have my phone on speaker while I am calling LSAC for help given that I am still being recorded by ProctorU? I just have very bad service on my phone and have to use speaker at times to be able to even hear the other party on the line.

I am unable to upgrade my phone plan at this time due to finances.

Thank you and best of luck!

[I am posting on behalf of a 7Sage user. Please feel free to leave your comments below. Thank you for your help!]

7sage looks great, I just feel overwhelmed with how much it has to offer and how to really get started on it. I've had probably the worst LSAT journey and have my exam this Friday, although I do not feel as prepared as I would like to and know that I will most probably be taking it again in January but self studying can only take you so far! I would love some more insight on what you think I should do

    PT 90 LR

Not really seeing why the answer is D here. Wouldn't creating the new warehouse make it possible for the second even to occur?

    PT92.S3.Q20 - Bankruptcy Laws

Another recent RC question where I feel like there's something I'm just not getting about RC. (D) seems well-supported to me: if forced to liquidate, a bankrupt company will only pay its lenders, and through a fire sale/liquidation. With the reorganization system, the business restructures, in a way that should allow them to pay off more than just their lenders, but other stakeholders as well.

With (E), "finance the establishment of a new business," I get that it's vaguely supported by the notion that lenders may charge more if reorganization is the system rather than liquidation, but this seems like a needle-in-a-haystack inference and I'm still not seeing what makes it any better than (D).

Taking the LSAT on Tuesday and I swear RC will be the death of me. I'll get -0 LG and -0 or -1 LR and then bomb -3 or -4 RC and have to retake. Unless you wise people can help, lol.

LSAC informs me, I can perform my writing sample After my 11-14-21 test date. Granted they require x amount of time to authenticate.. but I don't have to waste any of my last remaining hours before test time (6:40 am)... fitting this in. Can anyone confirm this is correct?

I called LSAC, and they weren't sure. I'm going to give ProctorU a call later, but wanted to see if any recent test-takers knew. The directions include downloading an applet in the middle of steps. I should have admin access on my work laptop. I downloaded and completed the PSI Secure Browser for writing and didn't have to enter admin info. I've been trying to find forbidden software to download and test but nothing I can find requires my organization's sign-in. Long story short...can we install that piece of software before the exam? It would make me feel better to do so, but I didn't know if there would be some kind of problem if I did so beforehand. Curious if anyone had tried or asked about it is all.
