Is there a way to blind review on an imported exam?

Just took an exam on Lawhub and imported it, tried to blind review it on 7sage so all the stats are in here, but there's not an option to?

Or am i just missing how to?

if not, please add this feature!!! Blind review on imported exam!!!

🙃 Confused

No gpa for admissions predictor

I noticed that there's option to predict admissions for undergrads that don't have a gpa (like international or pass/fail programs). Is there any way to predict for these degrees, and if there is can 7sage add it? Also, how does not having a gpa affect admissions?

Is there a way to see the timeline of improvement in analytics for drilling? For example I would like to see when I improved from 47% accuracy in Weaken questions to 65% accuracy. That way I can keep better track of what areas I improved on in each study session. Currently I am copying down my percentage progression by hand but if it were a digital feature it would be much more convenient!

Okay, I know this is probably 7Sage blasphemy, but can we please adjust the blind review settings a little more so that I can choose only to review my incorrect answers?

I am currently working on untimed drills, so I really try not to choose answers unless I've really thought them out. Spending 45 minutes on an untimed drill, and then being told to review half of them just isn't how I'm going to spend my time, especially when it's so limited. It doesn't feel productive to me. What it results in is that I end up blowing through all of the questions on the review because it's overwhelming.

I know this is a personal behavior that I am in control of, but it would just make reviewing so much more helpful in my situation.

I might be missing this, but I don't see a button to Repeat a Drill after you've just taken one. Sometimes I want to drill the same thing in a row, but I have to reselect all my categories each time.

Hi, I've just started to use the 7Sage application tracker, and would like to request a new feature in the form of being able to select "withdrawn" after one has been waitlisted.

I've noticed that the only option to select "withdrawn" is when one has been accepted, but I know that there's a lot of people who withdraw from waitlists as well, such as William & Mary who are notorious for yield protecting

Thank you 😊

I would love to be able to export my practice questions and analytics data into a CSV file. I already am doing a wrong answer log, but the ability to copy & past some of the things into an excel file would be immensly helpful, especially because I don't necessarily analyze my entire performance question by question, but it's usually after a week of studying, I'll look at my overall performance and then figure out where I need to dive in.

Also, if I leave notes in the tool, by the question, it would be nice to be able to export that along with all other comments.

is there a way to find a question (PT # and all) by using a word from the stimulus as the search word?

For example, if i recall there was a tricky question about monkeys that i had attempted a while ago, but i don't remember the PT # and stuff, can I search for the question from the search function?

I have been using 7Sage for a while now, and I just want to say that I absolutely love it! I think it’s an awesome platform that clearly passionate people have put a lot of work into. As I am nearing the end of my studies, I have one suggestion...

When creating a drill or when looking at my analytics, I wish I was able to filter out by question stem and stimulus logic. For example, let’s say I want to review or drill all weakening questions that involve causal reasoning. I have to filter both causal and weakening and then, one by one, manually select the questions that contain both tags. I think it would be great if there was a way for 7Sage to automatically group filters like this as opposed to showing me questions that only contain either the LR stimulus logic or question stem.

Thanks!

I’ve been studying consistently and can eliminate 3 choices immediately. I’m stuck between two choices and keep falling for the trap answer more than half of the time. I’m wondering if 7Sage will start to identify which answers are “trap answers,” so that I can analyze why I keep selecting them.

One thing I’ve noticed in RC is that some passages are especially difficult because they’re packed with unusually hard vocabulary, almost to the point where it disrupts comprehension.

I was wondering if it might be helpful to have a light, optional vocab-focused drill in 7Sage—ideally centered on words that tend to show up frequently in LSAT passages. It could be something students use on days when they want to study but don’t feel up for full LR or RC practice.

In November, I noticed changes in my priority rankings that I thought were the result of a bug. After doing some digging, I learned the true cause was an update to 7Sage’s recommendations engine.

Since the update, the priority tags have become much less useful to me. A comment I found by a 7Sage employee about the update says the following:

“Why we changed it: Under the old system, if you set a high goal score, nearly everything showed as 'highest priority' (not helpful). If you set a lower goal score, everything showed as 'lowest priority' (also not helpful). Now you'll always see a clear spread of priorities regardless of your goal score setting.”

If this is the reason for the change, it seems to have had the opposite of its intended effect on me. My goal score is 180, and my performance across question types is high. Prior to the update, my priorities were spread out in a reasonable and actionable manner. After the update, all except one of my RC tags were ranked “highest priority.” Here is screenshot from the bottom of my RC priorities list:

It seems obvious to me that a question type that, on average, appears less than once per test that I have never answered incorrectly should not be ranked "highest priority"!

This problem occurs at the top of my RC priority list, too!

(Note "Miscellany" and "Logical continuation.")

To a lesser, but still significant, degree my LR priorities have also been adversely affected.

A few examples:

On all of these question types, I am above goal accuracy, but they are still labled "high priority"!

I don’t have screenshots of my priorities from before the update (I had no reason to take any at the time), but I assure you they were much more reasonably spread out.

I would like to request that either another change be made to the recommendations engine or that users be given the option to switch to the engine’s pre-November version.

I realize that I may be an edge case, and it could be argued that since I am at or above my goal accuracy for most question types, my priority tags could not be relied on to guide study regardless of the engine’s tuning. This may be true, but if my priorities must be heavily weighted towards one extreme or the other, I would prefer to see most question types labled as “lowest” rather than “highest” priority. That is closer to how they appeared before the update and would better reflect my progress towards my goals. As they are now, they inaccurately suggest I have a massive amount of unfeasible progress to make.

🤔 Wondering

My Posts

I think the discussion feature is really helpful, but its hard to find my own posts once I've posted them. It seems like there should be a "My Posts" tab somewhere.

2

i think it would be helpful if i could highlight any text or question during lessons, and there is an option to where i can do more drills like this.

i am finding that as i am doing lessons, i am wanting to test myself more about what i am learning. i wish there was a way i could highlight the exact type of question and then see an option to "practice more like this".

1

I know I’m not the only one! This feels like a table stakes feature that’s missing. Competitor apps default to dark mode and it’s so much easier on the eyes. I know it’s currently an experimental feature, but I’d love to see this prioritized. There’s no reason for the diagram PNGs to be completely illegible on dark mode.

3

Is there a way to see a graph of trend of your proficiency percentages on drills/sections? Its hard to see how much you're improving when you only have a percent to reference. Context: Trying to see the trajectory of improvement (even if small).

4

Was this feature removed? Is there anyway to see your PT's plotted out on a graph like on 7Sage Classic's analytics? I got a nice dopamine hit every time i'd set a new record. Would love to see it come back.

😖 Frustrated

Wrong answer journal logistics

I think this has already been brought up, but I would really appreciate if the ability to drag a .png of the question from the quick view tab could be brought back. Especially with RC questions, copying and pasting is very messy, and the cleaner format was very helpful in adding questions to my personal wrong answer journal that I had organized by question types, difficulty, and so on.

While wrong answers can be organized in such categories under analytics, scrolling through these is very inconvenient. Every question takes you to a separate page, which wastes a lot of time if you are just trying to find a certain question or skim for commonalities between similar questions. This formatting is extremely frustrating.

I understand that the wrong answer notes feature is now more accessible, but using those notes is also inconvenient. Referring to the question that they were written for requires going to a separate page containing the question, after which the note is put in very small font while the question is in much larger font. Considering that the note should be the primary focus of wrong answer review, this is also extremely frustrating to work with.

I'm actually very disappointed with the current format due to these complications.

In the analytic section (under "sections"), I used to be able to hover the cursor over the bars to see how many questions I missed in previous full sections. Is that feature no longer available or did I imagine that it was once available to begin with? Now, when I hover over the bars, nothing comes up. I would have to go through every past section individually to see previous scores

Hi! I'd love to be able to either manually check off my practice block tasks, or be able to have an option to choose how many pratice tests I do. Some weeks, I cannot do a full practice test and I would like to be able to bypass that.
