Hello,

I'm currently working on my application for disability accommodations and had a questions for those of you who went through the process. I was wondering if the documentation from the qualified professionals needs to be submitted by me or by them individually? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Good Afternoon!

I previously took the LSAT last August and received a 166 and am signed up to take the LSAT again on October 3rd. I want to improve my score to ensure I get into the schools I want, but if I dont end up improving my score it's not the end of the world for me as I'll probably still get in. I wanted to post and get some advice on where to foucs my efforts leading up to the test. I only have about 15 hours a week or so to spend preparing as I'm also taking a heavy course load in school.

I know that logic games are my weakest section so I plan to spend the majority of my time on improving here. I also see that if I do the whole logic games section in 7sage it will take me upwards of 40 hours so I'm not sure if it's worth it to follow the whole ciriculum here. I would like to also spend a decent chunk of my time doing practice tests + some focused learning on the other sections.

So I'm wondering what people think is the best use of my time considering the limited time I have. Any feedback is apprecaited!

If I decide to take some time off from studying (1+ months) and cancel my 7Sage subscription, then later resume both studying and the subscription payment, will my progress be saved or will my 7Sage account start back from the beginning?

Looking for around 3 people to join the group. Any more tends to result in a clusterf...

Will be on discord.

This is for people taking October , only.

7sagers that have done the CC preferred.

The point of this group is to go over LR sections, aprox. 3 times a week. During the morning, and afternoons depending on schedule.

Full time LSAT study members preferred with open schedules.

Avg PT score of 160+ preferred.

Repeat flex testers preferred.

Headset with MIC required for discord to go over LR sections. (Webcam not required.)

Anything above PT 65 would be ideal, so this is mainly for people looking to do the mid 60s , 70s, 80s.

Send me a DM if you are interested. I know this seems strict, but just trying to get the right people.

November Flex Q

I’ve been studying for the Lsat for about a month and a half now and feel like I have a lot of improvements to make. Should I sign up for the November Lsat just because it’s a flex? Should I try? Not aiming for a top 40 law school.

I don’t want to risk waiting until January to then find out the lsat will be back to normal

Thanks!

Hi guys, so I just took the August flex today. Don't feel particularly good or bad about it so I'm just going to assume that I will probably need to re-take in October or November. For those who took the August flex and are planning to re-take, what are your study schedules like before the next exam? I definitely want to take a short break since I just took the exam, but I also don't want to get too comfortable and not study for the next 3 weeks lol I'm thinking at max, a week off and then back to reviewing the CC, doing problem sets, and taking more PTs

Also, has anyone taken the flex and not the writing sample? I plan on taking the writing portion in a couple of days. Any tips on the writing sample? I know it's not scored, but I still want to write a decent essay since law schools will be reading them.

So I took the LSAT flex last week and I didn't feel terrible after. I thought that was a good sign considering I am someone who generally thinks of the worst case scenario (I never expect to do well and always anticipate worse than I actually did). However, my brain started over-thinking about my performance. Now, I'm worried that I didn't perform well and am anxiously waiting for scores to come out. I'm sure everyone deals with this to a degree, but I am just a super anxious and pessimistic person in general. So it's a bit hard for me to get my mind off the exam even though I know there's nothing I can do about it now. Any tips on maintaining a positive mindset? I feel like I'm spiraling lol

Took the august flex and not 100% sure how it went. I am back at school now for my senior year so work is adding up and havent touched any lsat stuff since the test on the 29th. Should i just wait till my score comes out to figure out if I need to take again or what.. really dont want to take again and i wont be able to study as much with school work soo not sure what to do

I just got a popup that said something along the lines of "Wooo you broke the 170s barrier that's amazeballs" from JY. Is this an automated message that everyone gets, or was it personalized? I accidentally navigated away from the page and cannot find any way to see this again/respond. Does anyone else know?

Hello! I think this is something for the admins to handle, not sure where to post...

I took PT 86 on lawhub and in inputting my responses into the 7sage system, noticed that in the RC section, the final question (q 27) is missing. The question is "Given the information provided in the passage, which one of the following principles would most hep support Carrol and Chen's innovative argument, described in the fourth paragraph?" Currently the PT only has 26 RC questions on 7sage.

LAST Writing Scratch paper

soooo I did the writing, and forgot to show my paper during room scan, might have even missed half of my desk too tbh but I don't remember, and realized I forgot after I started writing on it...so I thought it would be late to show them then. Is this a major problem? lol...

LSAT Writing

hi guys!

i tried to take my LSAT writing yesterday (i took the august test) and i accidentally closed it out, so they reset the link today. and then i started today, i had a paragraph written and i got a notification that said recording stopped due to network failure (which was weird bc my wifi was working fine) and then i clicked close bc i didnt know what else to do and kept going, and then a few seconds later psi just shut down and kicked me out and now it says ive completed it on my lsac account. THIS IS SO ANNOYING and ive been on hold for 50 minutes, and i didnt even get to destroy my scratch paper or anything bc it was unexpected. god knows if theyre going to be ridiculous about it..i have a feeling im not going to be getting my score back on the 18th LOL since it takes up to 3 weeks to process and now its labor day weekend.

moral of the story; make sure ur 100% good to go in terms of tech and everything before u start the writing and show ur scratch paper at some point in the video bc they never give a specific time to show it. also show ur wrists and hands

sigh

Hey everyone. I’m wondering if I should register to take the November flex. I recently finished the CC and scored a 169 on my first PT with LG as my weakest section. My goal score is 173+ so I am unsure if it is worth registering now or putting off my test date.

I don’t plan on applying for a while so I am not pressured in this way. However, I do feel that the flex is easier as it does not require as much endurance. For this reason, I feel slightly compelled to try the November test in case the flex is phased out afterwards.

Do you think I should register now or delay until a later date?

I'd like to ask for some advice on how to go through problem sets in CC "wisely".

What I'm doing now is watch JY's general explanation on q.type,

do the Qs on my own and then watch JY's explanation clips checking if I got it right or wrong,

then doing Problem Sets attached to it.

Now for Problem Sets, after checking the result, I watch the explanation clip right away, read some comments and then move on.

That's when I feel stuck. I feel like this process doesn't get me anywhere to develop advanced logical thinking to solve any questions at similar level. I've read many comments trying to articulate the reasoning on their own but I feel like sometimes I just memorize JY's argument. Should I still try to explain it on my own after(or before) watching the explanation?

Would that help me acquire or broaden my reasoning?

I'm already registered for Oct flex which will be my first exam but I haven't reached the score I'm aiming on PT.

As I took some prep classes before joining 7sage and I don't have much time left before October flex,

I was going to tackle only on q.types I'm weak in, but I changed my mind and decided to finish CC as soon as possible.

I'm so depressed now that I don't see any improvements in my PT score(avg 157) and I can see why when I go through Problem Sets.

What am I doing wrong?

Should I try to explain every answer choice while doing Problem Sets or BR before watching the explanation?

Do I have enough time for that? or would that be more effective way to score any higher?

Any advice, encouragement welcomed. :(

(Btw, my goal is to get somewhere around 170 in January)

Hi all,

I'm wondering how many months of doing PTs is optimal before taking the official test for the first time.

I've been doing PTs for a month now...

149 diagnostic pre-CC, 157 post-CC, plateaued around 165, then the past three PTs (36,38,40) I've gotten 178, 167, 169.

Biggest weakness is LG, averaging -4/test.

Goal is to break 173.

Score drop/ Tips on BR?

Hello,

I'm currently trying to break 150. My diagnostic scores range from 134-147. I've made A LOT of progress with my scores since the beginning of this journey (my lowest score has been in the 20's LOL). Anyway, I think that I might not be doing the BR properly. I recently took a first PT Flex and had a score drop to 142. To be fair I haven't finished ALL of the LR section because it was getting really long so I took a "break" and moved onto LG. I will be going back of course. What tips do you suggest for an effective BR? What techniques have you used that work for you? I'm looking to take the LSAT in January and hoping to score around 150/155+.

Hi,

I'm always confused about these questions. I don't understand if the question is asking you all the potential objects that can belong in the group, or the potential objects in the group in one instance.

For example (Prep Test 43, Question 18): "Which of the following could be a complete and accurate list of each of the office buildings that the falafel tuck serves?"

A. X

B. X, Z

C. X,Y,Z

D. Y,Z

E. Z

A, B, and E can be eliminated based on the fact that the stimulus provides that F must serve Y. The answer is D because the question meant "in one scenario". However, I read it as "all the potential trucks" the Falafel truck could serve. In one possibility, F serves Y,X and in another Y,Z. So potentially, F could serve all 3 leading me to answer choice C.

I'm definitely reading this question wrong. Can someone please explain to me the wording difference between when they ask for all potentials vs. in one possibility?

Is there a way to make the 7sage lsat reading comp section more like the real thing? I read somewhere that when words are referenced in line numbers, they are automatically highlighted in the digital LSAT so we don’t have to search for them. Is this true & is there a way to do it with the 7sage LSAT?
