So I took the December LSAT, and I'm not happy with my score, I want to take the February one. Any advice on how to improve? or study schedule that has worked for other people? Is it better to have a study partner or practice alone etc. ? Thank you!!

Guys! I just want to celebrate a bit. I'm still not where I ultimately want to be yet, but I can really tell that I'm on the road to getting there. Last night I got my first 180 BR and tied my PT score record (167). But I'm happier about the fact that I can really see the progress in my last several PTs. (Also, the 7sage analytics are almost worth the price of the course itself!) After the CC, I had improved for the most part but was wildly inconsistent. Post-CC I was scoring any where between 156 and 167 and was all over the map. Now my last 6 PTs are: 164, 165, 164, 166, 166, 167. Both the consistency and that slow but sure upward trajectory are so encouraging.
I think I'm not going to be quite where I want by December 2, but I'm feeling positive that I can even probably improve a bit before then. I'm also registered for February and think I might be closer to my goal score by then.
Dance party time? I think yes.

UPDATE:
Since this post, I added a couple more 167 PTs and a 169. Official score in December: 168.
The upward trend continued as did consistency, and it really came through. Started at a 155 diagnostic, so +13 overall. I’m ecstatic with the score. I’m registered for February and will probably still sit for that to see if I can inch up at all and use it for scholarship negotiations.
But a huuuuuge thank you is owed to @"J.Y. Ping", @"Dillon A. Wright", and everyone on the boards for encouragement! I’m now more excited than ever to get apps in.
Happy holidays to all!
I was hopeful that I could apply this cycle and most of my recommenders have already uploaded my recs to my file, unfortunately that won't be the case. Does CAS save my transcripts & LORs so I can reuse next cycle? Or will I have to repurchase it and ask them to upload everything again next year? Also some recommenders haven't uploaded yet, do I ask them to wait for next year?
Thank you!
I'm hoping to submit apps in the next week or so. Just got my December score and am relatively pleased. Has anyone here reached out for a fee waiver? Is it too late to do so now?
If not, do I simply make a polite request with my LSAT score and GPA? I'm thinking of requesting at a few T14s where I'm above the 75th on both GPA and LSAT
Hi everyone,
Would any of you mind giving advice for an LSAT score addendum? I would like to complete it asap, and I have no idea what to do. I got a 13 point increase, and although I am not happy with my score there are some conditional acceptance programs that I may be eligible for. I am prepared to resume studying for the LSAT again as soon as Christmas is over in the event that I am rejected from the program.
Hello everyone,
Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend! I wanted to get your thoughts on using religion/atheism on my PS.
Basically, my PS's main theme is about me overcoming my fears and how they've influenced my character and confidence, which eventually enabled me to realize my purpose to become an attorney.
One of the things I wanted to briefly write about was how denouncing my faith publicly was a big step for me, since I was being true to myself and unafraid of what my family and friends thoughts were about this.
What have you guys heard, or what are your thoughts on writing about faith/religion on PS's? Thanks in advance!
Hey all, I'm aiming on nailing the logic games concepts so deeply in my head that they become easy to me, so I'll be consistently posting on this forum with plenty of questions up until my February testing. I apologize in advance.
My question concerns the biconditionals. I am taking this example from PT26 S1G4.
Here it says "G and V do not serve on the panel in the same year" which translates to G --> /V and V --> /G (contrapositive)
Then another rule says "Either I or V serve on the panel, but not both" which translates to I --> /V and V --> /I also shown in double arrows I (--) /V.
One of them, the I and V rule was called a biconditional by the instructor which I understand as it meaning the the presence of one confirms the absence of the other...But now I'm wondering what is the difference between the first and second rule. Because right now they look the same to me, but I know there is an inherent concept. I already understand the difference between both and but not both, but I'm a little confused here - anything would be helpful.
Thank you
The words to describe how i feel at this moment is tough. When i first took the lsat, i didnt study. I was confident. My score in june was 142. Not good. My score reflected my study habit.
For the past 4 months, here in 7sage, i studied, understood the concepts. Knew how to breakdown a question and choose the right answer choice, knew the logic games, reading comp., i understood why i got a 142 in june and how i can get better score because of what i learned.
To my disbelief, today, i see i scored 12 pts lower then my june score.
How? Where did i fail? Why is this fucking test so goddamn hard!?
Hi everyone! I have a few questions regarding BR:
How long does it generally take you to BR one LR section? Is it more beneficial to BR every question or just the questions you circled?
The reason I am asking is because I’ve noticed that BRing an entire LR section and THEN checking the answers and properly understanding them is taking me quite a while! Thank you!!!
Mine is grey and I’m currently waiting. Every comment I’ve seen so far from people who have received their scores seems to suggest they did worse than their PTs and previous tests. It’s making me nervous. Did anyone feel the opposite way?
I cannot check. I’ve tried twice and I just can’t bring myself to do it.
Hi sorry this might be a stupid question, but how do I send my transcript and lsat score to the law school I'm applying to? When I checked out there was an additional $35 fee. Is it done automatically after i check out or do I need to do anything else? LSAC already processed my transcript from my university.
When should I start actually cracking down and studying for the LSAT? I'm a freshman in college so I know I'm suuuuper early, but many of my friends are pre-med and they're discussing doing MCAT study sessions starting this upcoming summer.
While I know pre-meds are typically pretty psycho (lol) it got me a little nervous. When is a good general time that I should start creating a study plan?
I got an email say that "Your LSAT answer sheet or registration form was not signed. Until you sign and return the “No Signature” notification letter(s) sent to you by LSAC, your file may be on hold." What does this mean?
I dreamed about this day. The day that I would receive my score & post here to give my thanks and express my joy. How badly I wish that was the case for my writing this post .... I graduated in the spring and decided not to work post graduation so I could study full time for the LSAT. Fast forward 6 months of dedicated studying and scoring in the 160's, I open up my email from LSAC to find my score, 151. To say that I am distraught is a grave understatement. I am beginning to convince myself that I simply do not have the type of intelligence that the LSAT tests. I was going to send out my applications once I received my score but now I don't even know where I should go from here. I want to go to law school more than anything. Especially, this cycle. But I don't think I have it in me to put so much of myself into something once more and get nothing in return.
Hey guys.
In short... I basically took my Dec. lsat cold...141... sucks I know.... the law school I want to go to has an evening program. A 145 would secure me.... Can I get this by Feb? with 7sage? Wanting to attend Northern Kentucky.... not a top school but it's my #1 school for a variety of reasons... my law mentor went there and it's in my state...
I had to focus time on finishing my doctoral project in leadership. Thankfully, I can breathe now and focus on the test. With my GPA and 141, the lsac calculator says I have a 50-70% chance of getting in.... I'm just not convinced....possible? I'm already signed up to retake so I don't need convincing....just curious where I would stand right now....
anyways, 7sage in a month and 1/2?
God bless my friends.
Hi! Haha was definitely not expecting scores so soon but...163. (-3 RC, -6 LR, -8 LR, -6 LG). I was planning on applying to some top 20 schools, such as Cornell, USC, UCLA, etc...however, my LSAT score is at their 25th, with a 3.8 GPA. Non-URM. I checked, and these schools seem to accept the February LSAT.
So, I'm not really sure how this works, but I'm planning on retaking the LSAT in February. I want to submit applications to these schools - do I tell them to wait for the February LSAT? And if so, can they see what I got in December? Can I get admitted based on my December stats? :/ Is there such a thing as getting rejected based on December score, but then being reconsidered after February?
Timeline wise, I would prefer to start school this year, but if I did well in February, I would consider waiting for next cycle.
Thank you!!
So I got my email from LSAC and was informed that my score is 155. Which was surprising because I was comfortably PT'ing in the mid 160's. So I looked at my bubble sheet and realized that RC for Question 3 was left blank. And all of the responses afterward are mis-aligned by one space. After adjusting for the mis-alignment, I would have had 15 more correct responses, which
would translate to a164 based off their scale.
I just got off the phone with LSAC and they said that my only options are to write an addendum or take the LSAT again. Has anyone been in this situation before? Any suggestions? Thank you.
So I just received my Dec score. I was scored one point lower than my June & Sept score ( which were exactly the same). How do you think adcomms will look at it? the score is in the 150's. Do you think I should write an addendum?
I don't even know how to react to this... my score has decreased 13 points from my pt average. I have timed myself every time and took about 30 timed pt. I took a pt one day and spent 8-10 hours on reviewing the next day. Has this ever happened to any of you? Also, please give me some advice on what is the best road to take.

Hi 7Sagers,
I have been studying part time for almost 6 months now, have completed CC, FPM of all games from PT 1-40 and only recently began to PT. I began with PT 34, and am presently reviewing 41. I will be honest when I say studying for such an extended time for the LSAT my stamina in consistently studying plummeted tremendously with other life distractions. I do not know how to regain keeping up a good PT routine, though it is especially necessary in the next few weeks. I do not feel that I can complete up to PT 82~ by February, perhaps it is not wise to attempt that, but I am wondering what is a reasonable amount of PT's to aim to do and BR in full, by the February test. I wrote last February, 2017, with little preparation (Powerscore) and scored very low. I am BR'ing in the 160s, am awful with timing, and scoring in the high 150's otherwise. I delayed my admissions for a year in hopes of preparing, but I feel that all this time has passed and my progress is nominal and am a bit dejected, but would really just like to put my best efforts forth come February.
I immensely appreciate any advice, insight, words of encouragement you have to offer.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read, and respond if you so choose to. You are appreciated.
I’m glad this is over and thanks 7sage for such an awesome program that made a world of difference!
Hi, so I don't really ever post publicly about my worries but I feel super disappointed with my December score. I got a 160 in September with minimal studying and then studied my butt off for the December one and scored a 160 again. I found it significantly harder than the Sept. one so I'm trying not to be so hard on myself. I have a 3.49 GPA and I have a pretty unique, compelling personal statement as well as strong LORs on the way. I'm also Mexican. Because of my relatively weak GPA, I was really banking on scoring higher in December's test (like 163-164) but I don't want to take another year off. My top choices are UC Davis, UC Hastings, USD and UC Irvine. With these numbers, I'm very nervous about applying and either facing rejection/zero scholarships. I guess I just need some reassurance and advice from you guys. Thank you and happy holidays
P.S. I'm still working on my applications
When will the app be updated for the iPhone X?
