I am struggling quite a bit with weaken questions. Are you able to offer any advice on how best to approach and solve these, and maybe share your method for how you get these ones right? Thanks so much!!! #help

Hi all.
I'm very much struggling with RC, to the point where I just don't know what to do. I've tried memory method and it seems like I've only regressed on RC since I started studying. I'm a high 160s low 170s scorer but RC has consistently kept me from improving my score overall. If you know of any reasonably priced tutors I'd greatly appreciate it (as I am a broke college student already).
I just can't seem to get the hang of it... any help would be appreciated at this point.
I do not even know where to begin with the ACs.
I understand the stimulus as a theater recently closed because the owner claimed that it could not regularly sustain an audience. Then a week prior to the closure, massive profit resulted.
None of the ACs to me make any close parallel to the flaw that I am clearly not able to identify in this question.
I was thinking, "turns out that the people actually appreciated the theater"?
Is that in the same spirit of AC C?
I can see why the other ACs are wrong, but I am having a difficult time seeing how C is absolutely correct. The stimulus states that water is being wasted and that the gov't was giving the industry a break. Therefore, tighter control would lead to ceasing inefficient use. Is "cease" really the key detail here? Are ACs like these common?
Hello! I am generally pretty proficient with logic games, usually -1, -2, but occasionally a game really messes up my slightly dyslexic brain...especially if the game pieces have both M/W or G/J, I'll realize wayyy into doing the game that I've totally messed it all up with these mix-ups. Does anyone else experience this and/or have any tricks? Do you think the LSAT does this on purpose to trip us up?
I'm planning on taking the January LSAT but might push back the date.
Can anyone explain exactly why D is the answer. I kind of get it, but just need a brief reason why it is most definitely the answer as opposed to any of the others. Like what makes it stand out the most?
Hello 7Sagers,
I have always read the question stem first. But, both the LSAT Demon and the Loophole have the opinion of never reading the question stem first. What are your opinions on this subject? Specifically for those scoring 170+, what are your opinions?
Can someone break down their thought process for this question for me? I can't seem to be able to read this question as is required. I picked E.
I am stuck between the two answer choices. The other three seem pretty obvious as to why they are incorrect. However, what sets AC C and D apart? I can't seem to identify where in the stimulus it points to the right answer.
I am unsure why D is correct over E. I am assuming that E makes a flaw through its logic statement?
Im taking the Jan2021 LSAT and when i do preptests, my blind review score is constantly better than my actual score (usually 150s actual score and 170s BR). My last PT my actual score was 153 and my blind review score was 177. Anybody have any suggestions on how to improve my score under timed conditions?
PT66.S2.Q20
(C) All actions that fulfill moral obligations are performed in order to fulfill moral obligations.
These two words, 'all' and 'in order to' are indicating sufficient.
Then which part is sufficient in this sentence?

Hi all,
I'm taking the January exam and am currently scoring between -5 and -7 on logic games during the timed test, but usually get down to -1 or -2 in BR. Does anyone have any advice for getting closer to the BR numbers on test day? I usually get the game board/inferences down okay, but I just can't seem to visualize it all in my head. I do so well on BR because I literally write out each scenario to make sure it's the right solution, which obviously takes way more time than I have timed lol. Any strategies or study suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you!

I'm a bit lost on these 2 problems.
For No. 3, I'm a bit lost on the wording of what the question is asking for. Am I supposed to look for the answer that gives the other pieces no other options?
No. 4 has the same issue with how the question is worded. Am I supposed to see which pieces can have 2 different spaces?
Thanks for reading and hope everyone that reads had a great and safe holiday. :)

Hi all, I'm preparing for January and trying to tighten up my worst section, LG. My method has been to take 2 fresh LG sections a day, but I've almost exhausted all the core curriculum LG sections. I've been stagnating at around -4 for a few weeks, though in the last week my scores have been pretty erratic (-1 and -9). I'm worried that I'm wasting fresh sections, especially since it's possible I might be retaking in February or April. I'm also wondering what alternative strategies might be more effective at raising my score. I especially struggle with grouping/in out games. Thanks!
Hello everyone, I am struggling to get faster on the logical reasoning section. I usually get to question 16 and guess on the rest of them under timed conditions.
I usually miss like -2 on the 16 that I do answer, and maybe get like 1-2 from guessing C on the ones I don't get too.
I would really like to get to at least question 20. Any tips on how to improve speed for LR?
For Parallel Flaw/ Parallel MOR questions, do you move on after reading (what you believe) to be the CAC? Doing this has saved me massive time in some instances, but in others I miss a slight missing parallel that would have been obvious had I read another AC (the one I chose was missing a “can”, etc). I often make a local decision that changes for every parallel question, but I want to be more systematic about this.
Curious to hear how your timing is on Parallel questions!
Hi everyone and Merry Christmas!
It is impossible for me to obtain a score higher than 14 on the RC section. Can anyone suggest how to improve on this section? Any tricks, tips, and advise would be appreciated. Thank you!
I have been having issues with missing out on these questions lately, and I am not sure why---I used to be able to get them immediately. Do such questions generally include "causality" in the conclusion and as a result, one is able to know that in all likelihood, it is a correlation-causation flaw? Sorry for the stupid question (I went back to look at the causation lessons, but am still somewhat confused).
Thank you so much!
Hi,
I’m currently at -10 in LR and want to get to at least -5 before the Jan exam
to reach my goal. What would be the easiest and quickest method to do that? I have just started with reading the loophole but it seems like going over it will eat into a lot of my precious time and I don’t know if it’s worth it or if I have enough time to try new LR strategies at this point. Any tips?
My weak areas seems to be parallel flaw, method reasoning and necessary assumption questions. I think I struggle most with negation and writing out the lawgic in a timed practice test. Any suggestions about how to improve these areas would also be helpful. Thanks!! :)
I'm a bit confused about the language in the stimulus. If the college was using Hall Dining Services "until this past year," wouldn't that mean their current food vender was Hall Dining Services?

After reading the stimulus, I thought one reason why the foundation decided not to rebuild the original organ was perhaps it would cause damage to the other parts of the church. I am just very confused as to why D is incorrect; if the design of the organ had been modified several times before it was destroyed, couldn't that be a potential reason why the foundation decided not to rebuild it? because it could not match the original?

Hi all,
I need some help with this question. i watched and read the explanations, and while i now understand how to eliminate the other choices, i still don't quite get why answer C is the necessary assumption. Here's how i broke down the passage --
Context: Some nuclear reactors are in geologically quiet region, which only has minor faults and lives far away from plates.
Premise: no minor fault in this region produces earthquake more than once in any 100000 year period. That means there is at least a 100000 year waiting period between earthquakes.
Conclusion: in this region, potential nuclear sites near a fault that produced an earthquake in living memory are least likely to be struck.
So i imagine that X is a nuclear site in a quiet region near a minor fault that produced an earthquake in living memory, say 100 years. From the premise, X will not be struck by another earthquake for at least 99900 years. That's pretty unlikely. But i need to compare it to other sites, so this is where the necessary assumptions come.
C: in this region, every potential nuclear site is near 1 or more minor fault.
The negation test means there is a nuclear site Y in this region that's not near any minor fault. But the passage says nothing about the frequency of earthquakes in areas without minor faults. For instance, if Y's area has earthquakes every year, even though there are no faults, X would be less likely to be struck than Y. But that means the conclusion still holds, failing the negation test.
Am i wrongly using the negation test for this question? Hopefully someone can explain my error here. Thanks a lot.

Hello! I am taking the Jan 2021 Flex, and have been studying for awhile now. I am aiming to get into the low 170s, but consistently score within the 165-167 range. The biggest reason for this is because of my logical reasoning. I have gone through the 7sage curriculum several times, and am still having trouble on LR. I don't have an issue completing it on time, but rather identifying the right answer within two or three answers left after elimination. Does anyone have any tips on what else I can do to improve it? Thanks in advance!
I'm okay with RC, and I know that my LG will improve with practice, but I've really been struggling with improving my Logical Reasoning section.
Do any of you who have had success with that section have any advice?
