I keep narrowing it down to two answers and then choosing the wrong answer :/ I had B or D, chose B.
Can someone help me understand #3 and #5 better? Because the answer for number 3 is /(3 →C) wouldn't the same translation be for #5? /(W→F)?
#2 and #4 are somewhat confusing.
To negate #2, wouldn't it be /(A ←s→P)?
With the same logic for #4, the originally claim would be M ←s→ F, to negate it, I thought it would be different, but after looking at my notes, it would be A→/B aka M → /F.
However, I am still stuck on the answer for #2. How would I have confused the answer when it is the same process as #4?
I felt much better about this chapter than the others. It somewhat felt a little too easy answering the questions and blind reviewing to see my answer be correct.
I was able to eliminate C and E initially. Then I was stuck between A, B, D. I looked over the question again and realized A didn't follow. However, I was really stuck between B and D, but couldn't distinguish a difference in reasoning. When I went to blind review, something told me to choose B, but I couldn't understand the reasoning and what the difference was.
I was able to narrow it down between A and E and chose E because of the rule being if a description is a deliberate attempt to mislead.... I chose E over A solely because he is literally attempting to mislead bidders by describing a vase as something else to increase the bidding/value.
I felt this exercise was a little confusing, especially with #3 again. I choose different words than the answers.
I did: succeed --> buyer to emotionally connect with product.
negation: /buyer to emotionally connect w/product --> /succeed
the answer was success --> emotional-connection
Would these be considered wrong, even though they essentially have the same answer/get to the same point, just a different use of terms?
If you break down the sentences with different words, is that still okay? For example, for question #2, I put rely on economic trade --> support of foreign policies to secure peace
I got it right, I narrowed it down to A and D, however I was contemplating D. It just didn't seem as relevant to the argument, but how can I narrow out answers like this because on the LSAT, if I chose D, I don't get partial credit for saying "oh well I had it narrowed down to A or D and chose the wrong one but almost got it right."
I easily narrowed it down to B or D and ended up choosing D. I thought the opinion was least relevant over B, because B is somewhat mentioned in the question as the government and the home lighting industry are eager to change, I thought there would be relevance of that. I see how B Is the correct answer choice now because it doesn't affect the argument.
Can someone provide an explanation as to why B isn't correct? I see why C is correct after watching the video- because it does nothing for the argument. But, it seems like B was a good fit to the argument
is anyone else struggling with this section?? maybe I need to take a reset and come back to the questions but I'm barely getting any of the question sets correct :/
I would join also!!!
Dang I initially picked D after narrowing it down to B and D but switched it to B thinking it was correct. should’ve went with my initial decision!
Did anyone else choose E? I was able to narrow it down to A and E, but ultimately chose E. I see why it is wrong now and why A would be right.
3/5 on medium! the two questions I got wrong were high priority :/
I didn't really understand the question stem, I was able to eliminate A,B,D but I chose C and still don't see how it's wrong. I guess I can see it a little because the context supports C, there is no support for people outside of the workplace to catch SS.
I am so confused with these lessons. I am translating the sentences properly, but still not getting the correct answers. I chose B and had D narrowed down also.
I had the write translation and was able to narrow it down to B and D.
I translated it as /invest in MT → /Traffic → /Resolved. However, once listening to the explanation, I should’ve chose B because it is the exact translation of the claim.
I am still confused I am so confused with a because I don’t understand how it’s wrong.
This question choice was tricky, I narrowed it down to answers A and D. However, when I looked back on the answer choices I was able to distinguish what I thought was the right answer (D) compared to A because A used people and D used a politician. Once I watched the video, the logic was also the same to break down the wrong answers. I am doing very well in this chapter analyzing the context, mc, and the support.
I keep narrowing it down to two answers and choosing the wrong answer !!!!
I am not doing good this chapter lolol. NA came easy to me, now this is whooping my ass. I chose B or D, then narrowed it down to B and it was wrong :/
am i the only one not cooking this concept??? everyone’s like we are so back, baby i’m not back!!! im stuck lol
