Aha that’s where all my wrong questions were hiding
I had this one right and then lost the plot a bit and changed it…. Sigh
Q13 seems more like an inference than an MSS....
Why did I get this right and the easy ones wrong.
If I thought this was a necessary assumption question I would have gotten it right….
I wonder if genuine or pretend self confidence helped me with this one....
Well it took me five min but I finally got one of these right.
No worse feeling than second guessing yourself and changing to the wrong answer from the right answer last minute…

I am absolutely ripping through these, feel like I finally found some logic types I am good at.

I wish the testmakers would give us a question with a crazy answer like E. just to keep us on our toes.

So the answer is basically just gaslighting...
Could not for the life of me get my brain to figure this out...
I felt less confident I would get it right in a test environment as the wrong answers were revealed.... although my anticipated answer was consistent with the correct answer.
What a wacky question type
When you're an LSAT writer and you run out of names.
My first thought was that it would be because they said the technology isn't developed enough which would render the backup system arguement as untrue. Barked up the wrong tree.
