I'm trying my first practice test on the Lawhub platform to prep for test day on Saturday. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but how do you end the section when you finish? 7Sage has a check for when you're done, but all I'm seeing on the LSAC platform is "pause section" which doesn't end it. Also, is there a way to just take the 3 sections like flex?

Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm taking the LSAT in April and I'm looking for a study group. If there is one made already please let me know, my time schedule is flexible and I study 5-6 hours a day!

Hi!

My friend who went to Yonsei UIC and I are starting an online LSAT study group. He has an official score of 176 and my score fluctuates from 166-172. I am not sure if this means anything but I have a degree from Johns Hopkins.

We meet at 7 pm-9 pm Korean Standard Time on Wednesday.

I have a Zoom Pro, so we can meet without interruption.

If you are interested, please send me a DM and I will invite you to the KakaoTalk group chat!

Thanks! (:

I sent all my applications in December, and I've received 2 WL so far (albeit they were reach schools). The other 10 target schools are pending a decision, and I wondered if it's too late to send additional material like a diversity statement to help with my application? I just thought of an excellent topic for my diversity statement and am unsure if sending it will be beneficial for my application. (I also feel very sure that this statement is much stronger than my personal statement, I just regret not thinking about this topic back then).

If it's not ideal for sending a diversity statement now, should I wait until I get WL to send the diversity statement along with a LOCI? Or am I just too late?

PT92 LG

Did anyone feel like PT 92 logic games were a little difficult? I usually get -2 or -3 on each LG section but I got -5 for this one. I also couldn't finish it on time.

Hi 7sagers,

I just recently solved the question referenced above, a MBT question with heavy conditional reasoning. I understand why TCR is what it is, but it took me WAY too long to solve this question. Even in hindsight/BR, I don't know how I could get through a question like this in 1:25.

I ordinarily feel comfortable with conditional reasoning - I can picture contrapositives mentally, can twist around unless statements without diagramming, solve some conditional stimuli without diagramming (though generally they don't have a ton of sufficient conditions), etc. Even some of conditional-heavy stimuli that have several statements/premises tend to link up in a linear fashion and can be pictured without diagramming.

I think that what threw me off in this question is that between the two conditionals in the stimulus, there are just a million sufficient conditions to keep track of!

Do you guys have any tips/shortcuts for cutting through a question like this relatively quickly?

TIA!

Anyone in the Bay Area studying for the August test? I am on summer vacation so currently studying full time. I'm also pretty good at RC, I can consistently get -2 to -0 so I might be able to help someone with that. My big weakness is setting up the board and making inferences on the LG. I don't have anything going on so I can video call or meetup whenever. :)

Hi everyone!! I started studying about a month and a half ago

and was approaching it very relaxed but I’m going to be more serious about studying from now to the September or October test date! For me personally, it seems studying one section at a time starting with LG then LR and RC (my lowest to highest scores) will be the best approach. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in forming a study/accountability group? I was hoping we could form a group chat, use zoom, FaceTime, or whatever is best for studying together online! I’m also in ET and can study online on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at any time of the day! Besides 7Sage, I’m using the powerscore bibles, the free version of blueprint, khan academy, the lsat trainer, and working with a tutor once or every other week! If this sounds like a similar approach you might take (or even if not!) or you’re just starting out and you’re interested please feel free to dm me!! Thank you in advance!!

A professor kindly submitted a LOR for me through LSAC on 12/16. The status changed from requested to received. I've checked in around 1/4 and the status had once again changed from received to requested. I've talked with LSAC and they are just asking that I request for the Professor to submit the LOR again. Has this happen to anyone else? LSAC has not been of much help in this process at all.

Hi everyone! I am a little confused on this question, specifically on Answer Choice E.

Because it is a Pattern MOR Q, I broke down the logic in the stimulus too:

B -> D or J

D or J m-> QP

B probably QP

I represented the conclusion with probably because I believe it is important, as the question does not fully claim B must be QP.

Working through the wrong answers:

A: Incorrect, talks about Mercedes Identifying most trees, but that does not really fit with the structure we need

B: Incorrect, assumption required between creaking gate and hearing somebody break into house.

C: Incorrect, similar to our argument, but does not include most, and includes a negation our argument does not have

D : Correct: M -> L or K m-> MD Conclusion: M probably MD. Direct mimic of Q Argument

E: This is the one I am struggling with why its incorrect.

Laying out the logic for this one I have:

T -> D or S

D or S m-> CS

T probably CS

I know I am missing something, but all I see here is an argument that also mimics the Qs argument. Maybe because the conclusion comes first?

Thanks for the help!

So I chose C, the conclusion is that the scientist said that kids need learn how to draw curves first then they can move on to angles. So my reasoning: I chose C because it explains a reason as to why they cant just jump into angles

a) were not talking about straight lines

b) theyre not answering the question as to why they need to learn first how to copy curves before they can draw angles. I

c) this is correct because its saying that they need to be able to discern what an angle is before they can move to angles so it gives us a reason why

d) this weakens the argument

e) this I don’t think will support the hypothesis because yes they have the ability to but CAN they do it, I have the ability to sing but can I actually sing, NO lol

So can someone walk me through why Im wrong? Thank you!

    Hello!

    I'm looking for a study buddy so that we can motivate each other and also work through/review some difficult questions together. in the late 70s and 80s I believe mental wellbeing is super important, so I would prefer working with someone who is a good communicator that has (or tries) to have a positive attitude toward the LSAT!

    I have gone through the Powerscore LG and LR Bibles, LSAT Trainer, JY's LG videos, and Loophole. I have completed every PT from 50-89....and working on foolproofing LG

    I would say my weakest section is RC and strongest section is LG, but I really want to do well in every section because each part is weighted equally now.

    I would like to meet once or twice a week; evenings EST work best for me, so that would be ideal!

    Please message me or comment if you're interested! Thanks
