Hi everyone,
LSAC made several announcements today. The following are a few summary points of the announcements:
I have also included the full text of LSAC's announcement below:
“Now that the vast majority of testing for the June 2021 LSAT-Flex has been completed and the scoring process is moving smoothly, we are pleased to announce that scores for candidates who have an approved LSAT writing sample on file will be released one day earlier than originally announced.
Scores will begin populating into candidate accounts at approximately 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Please note that it could take up to 15 minutes for all scores to become available.
As a reminder, the deadline to register for the August LSAT is 11:59 p.m. ET, Friday, July 2. We hope this earlier score release will give candidates more time if they are considering the August test, particularly given how close the registration deadline is to the July 4 holiday weekend in the U.S.
For June test takers who have not yet completed their LSAT Writing session, we encourage them to do so as soon as possible. To ensure that their LSAT Writing is approved as quickly as possible, test takers should review the LSAT Writing guidelines, including the PDF and Frequently Asked Questions section at the LSAT Writing page.”
Ive become familiar with the system of translation but Im still struggling to understand the practical use of making the translations. Is it just that I can not do them fast enough yet? or is it something that I'm possibly missing? Any advice or tips would be appreciated, thanks!
I almost have LG down but I still have trouble with the questions that ask to substitute a rule for another rule to get the same results. Any general tips on approaching these kinds of questions?
Hey does anyone want to start a study group? Drop your IG handle. Mine is @creolebebev you can dm me.
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I am interested in consulting to help answer a few specific admissions related questions, not necessarily a comprehensive editing package. If I purchase the one hour consulting - can I use it to ask the specific admissions related questions? Any advice on consulting/the 7sage packages is appreciated!
Hi everyone,
Is anyone interested in becoming study buddies or making a GroupMe for the August 2021 LSAT? If you're currently in a group or are still looking for one are then let me know asap!I'm aiming for the 160s...
Thank ya!
Could someone explain what effect answer choice E has on the argument? Doesn’t it point out a flaw since the stimulus only talks about physicians who are too thorough and those who are not at all without considering the middle ground?
Does AC A resolve the potential issues with physicians who aren’t thorough enough?

I've been studying since end of March/Early April 2021 with plans to take the Aug 2021 test. Started at 153 and have been working on the CC everyday since. I'm still not finished CC (about 60% done), but I'm starting to feel like maybe I should give up on the whole thing. Highest score to date is a 159 but my most recent PTs have been 158 and 156. Pretty disappointing and feels like I'm getting worse as the test creeps closer.
Any advise or motivation?
Hello,
I have a few basic questions about in/out games and would love to run them by someone.
Is anyone here offering tutoring services or looking for a study buddy specifically for logic games where we could bounce questions off of each other?
I have been previously invited to a study group (thanks for the invitation) but I have decided to hold off on joining as I may not be of much help as I am solely focusing on logic games at the moment.
Thanks!
Hey guys I am currently averaging in the 168s and would like to eventually hit 175+. Would anyone want to be daily study buddies? Preferably someone who is also averaging around the same scores as I am. I think my strongest sections are LG, LR, and RC in that order.
Hey everyone,
If I wanted to apply to law schools for the 2022-2023 school year, would the last possible time to take the LSAT be the October date, or would I be able to take it in November or January and still apply for that year?
Hi everyone,
On Tuesday, June 29, at 9:00 PM ET, I'll host a webinar with 7Sage Consultant Jill Steier, a former admissions officer at NYU Law and Columbia Law.
I'll ask Jill some questions about the process, and you’ll get a chance to ask your questions at the end.
:warning: You’ll have to register for this webinar in advance.
:cookie: After the webinar, we’ll award one attendee a free Edit Once (see https://classic.7sage.com/admissions/enroll).
:warning: The webinar will be recorded, and we may post it on our site or on YouTube. We may also share the audio on our podcast.
→ Please register for the webinar here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_0NjYuw80SxGdhiqqfYPx8A
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
If you want to ask a question, you should connect via a computer instead of calling in. We also recommend that you join the webinar a few minutes early and test your microphone.
Congrats to @ks4648, who won a free Edit Once for attending last night's webinar. Thanks to all who attended!
Hello!
I'm a UBC Vancouver student in the PST time zone who's looking to form a study group with a total of 4 people (including me) to prepare for the August LSAT. I took the LSAT in August 2020 and am at the point in my studying where I've reviewed all the theory that the 7Sage provides, and have also read some or all of the LSAT "Bibles" (mostly the Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension Bibles) and the LSAT trainer. I'm hoping to start taking practice tests every day and ideally get through all of the prep-tests from 37-89 before the August LSAT, but I'm happy to meet as a group anywhere from everyday to 2-3 times per week. Finally, I'm aiming to score a 165+.
If you have a similar set of goals and are at a similar point in your studying, let me know!
Anyone have an idea why LSAC makes us wait nearly 3 weeks for the results of an online exam? lol
I mean, surely 7 to 10 days should be enough to certify the results of the Flex?

I created a wrong answer journal and I don't think I'm getting as much out of it as I should be and could use some guidance. I put down what the question type is, why I got the question wrong, and what I'll do differently next time but my answers are pretty basic: "didn't read carefully", "second guessed myself", "made excuses for the answer choice I picked". If someone could explain on how to go more in depth that would be great, thank you!
Hello, I was wondering what are some helpful & efficient strategies to review LR questions after completing a set of 5. I feel like I am spending a lot of time reviewing correct/wrong answers. Sometimes it takes me at least 30 minutes to review a problem set of 5. I either watch a video or read the explanations.Thank you.
Admins: Is there a way we can search for certain subsets of RC Question Types? For example, if I'm searching for a particular kind of "Inference" question, can I narrow down a search by question stem wording? Come to think of it, is there even a way to search & create a problem set for RC questions by question type at all?
All: There's an RC question stem that reads along these lines: "Which of the following would most logically begin a paragraph immediately following the passage?" (e.g., PT1.1.27 - Psg 4 has a version of this). I know I've seen "continue the [usually final] paragraph," but I also feel pretty sure I've seen "continue the passage" Q-types in other RC passages as well, like multiple times.
Can anyone think of other passages w/ this kind of Q?
Thanks!
hi there! i've been seeing some folks on here talk about how they are fool proofing all the games from pt 1-35. i wanted to know if this is really recommended, as i usually only fool proof the games i am getting answers wrong in from pt 50 onwards. appreciate all of your advice
The scores for candidates who have an approved LSAT writing sample on file will be released one day earlier than was originally announced. Scores will now be released on 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
So for those who do not have a writing sample on file, complete it as soon as possible to see the scores on time.
Could someone explain to me how early decision works exactly - i.e. do I have to designate an application as "early decision" or is any application submitted prior to a certain date (let's say November) automatically considered "early decision"?
I ask because I am planning to submit my application as early as possible - i.e. hopefully shortly after receiving my August LSAT score - but I don't necessarily want to apply "early decision" for all of the apps.
Also, how many "early decision" apps can I submit?
Thanks!!
This doesn’t have to be exclusive to the occupations listed above but I’m active duty Army and really struggling to find a consistent rhythm to get into and need some help. Currently trying to get one hour in a day during the weekdays and 2-3 hours in on either Saturday or Sunday. I’ve tried studying before physical training in the morning but I have sleep apnea and I’ve never been able to maintain it. I’ve been part of 7Sage for almost a year and I’m not even 75% of the way through the core curriculum and I’m really disheartened at how inconsistent I’ve been. If there’s a group for people with full time jobs or even if it’s just help and advice I’d really appreciate it. I’ve considered dropping my packet to get out of the army so I can find a job that would allow me more time to study but that isn’t really feasible for my family situation at the moment and I know there are others in this community with far more taxing jobs in terms of hours and stress that have made it work and I want to be one of them that figures it out. Thank you for taking the time to read this and good hunting with all your goals.
Very Respectfully,
Pat
Why there is no explanation videos for some of the old LR question (PR 1-15 ish) ?
Cannot watch videos or pull up the Course on the 7Sage app. Anyone else encounter this?
I’ve been studying for about 1 year now and I’m scoring in the low- to mid-160s, but I’m still averaging around -6 on LG. It’s really frustrating because it seems so easy for other people to improve LG but I feel like I’ve plateaued. My LG was originally really bad, I’ve definitely improved from a year ago but still miss at least 5 questions per section. I’ve worked through all of the Logic Games videos and practice sets in 7Sage and now I just try to do random practice sets. I’m improving on my time management but I still seem to find myself running out of time at the end of the section. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I thought the flaw in the argument was assuming that because half the total population was wiped out, that meant a good percentage of able-bodied people were too. but isn't B an incomplete answer? Even if the majority of the people who emigrated were old or infirm and not part of the labor force, couldn't those able bodied adults still have died from the famine?
