I know this might be a silly question, but do letters of recommendation need to explicitly say that anywhere on the letter? I ask because I understand there is a distinction between a letter of reference and a letter of recommendation, and one my recommenders included "this reference is provided at..." It would be easy enough to have them change it and maybe this is trivial, but I'd appreciate all of your input. Thanks!

Hi there!
So I'm still trying to answer this question and could use some help! Lots of different sources, including 7sager and the Trainer, suggest I find the flaw in the argument if I can, before considering answer choices. The question I've never been able to answer is this: Why? What does a correct answer choice in an NA question do to that flaw? With SA questions, the correct answer choice makes the flaw disappear. But with an NA, I don't have an answer. Any help would be amazing! I'm taking the Jan Lsat next week and I'm trying to tie up loose ends.
So I've done many logical games and fool proofed them by watching the explanation videos. Everything gets so much easier when doing it the second time after watching how it's done. I overall understand a majority of logical games, however, I am still struggling with finishing all of them on time. I end up spending 8-9 minutes on average on each game, so I can never get around completing all four games.
Any last minute suggestions that could help me improve on this section for next week?
I did the November lsat and got -5 on the LG section. I'm looking to improve my score by 4-5 points, so an increase in this section will definitely help.
I currently have DACA, which ultimatelys rules out any financial aid that comes from the government, and I believe my current financial status would qualify me for need based aid.
I was accepted ED to Georgetown but before that I was accepted to WashU Law. I withdrew all of my other applications today except for WashU Law because they notified me they're giving me a full scholarship.
I haven't received my scholarship info from Georgetown just yet but I feel so stressed.
Should I email Georgetown to ask when I should be expecting to be notified of my scholarhsip award?
I’m been having an issue with this app since the last update (Version 2.1.1). When I open the logic games tab, it refuses to show me anything other than the discussion board (as in, the discussion board that’s supposed to just be under the discussion tab)... so I am unable to access the LG video walkthroughs. I saw in another thread that someone had a workaround through another tab but nothing i’ve tried has worked for me. Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated!
Hi All,
I have been accepted to NYU Law early admission; however, I received a pretty tempting 'invitation to apply' emails from Yale.
How strictly is the early admission enforced? Can I still apply to Yale? Will it jeopardize my offer from NYU?
Thanks,
WD
Exactly as the title states.
In such case, do I have to inform the school by email that I will be taking the Jan Lsat and wish to be put on hold or is the application automatically put on hold?
Thanks!
More specifically in Penn and down since I didn’t apply higher than Penn. Duke seems to have really good resources but I found this out through speaking to the LLM dean and JD-LLM students. I was looking into Cornell and couldn’t find much about it online.
Hi I’m trying to find an in person tutor for my boyfriend. His test is in 7 days. He just needs a few pointers. We live in Vista Ca! Please help!
Does anyone know if the LSAC tablet's have writing capability? The low resolution summaries of each paragraph in RC passages helps me tremendously. I have played with the demo in their website but do not see a writing tool.
Hi all,
For those who cancelled a score, what did y'all indicate on apps that asked you to list when you took your lsat and your score? It doesn't allow you to write "C" for cancelled for example as it only accepts numerical values. Not sure if it's wise to leave it blank... Thanks all!
Regarding whether other people's argument and conclusion can be used to answer a question(not the author’s) if the author himself did not provide an argument? Since in one lesson, JY said that other people's argument is distinct from the author's argument. So if the author himself just cites other researchers' arguments and conclusions can we use those to answer the questions?
I keep hearing that LR in the newer sections is more difficult or at least different. When does that change take place?
I’m taking the LSAT next week but still really struggling with logic games. Sometimes I’ll just freeze and have no idea what to do with it after making the game board and writing the rules.
Im only a few points shy of my target score and my LR and RC are pretty solid. Is there anything I can do to strengthen logic games in the next week and a half? Any strategies that can help me?
Thanks!

The answer to this question is A. I understand why the other answer choices are wrong, but I have a hard time accepting A because David literally concedes Carla's premises... I don't think he can then be considered to be ignoring any part of her answer. That doesn't make any sense to me. If someone can help me out, I'd appreciate it!

I know this isn't very timely, but we've updated our lesson on early decision with more information about who it helps and how much.
This is the relevant section: How much ED helps depends on where your LSAT scores and GPA lie relative to the school’s medians. Our data show that if your LSAT and GPA are both stronger or both weaker than the school’s, ED doesn’t give you a measurable boost. Applying early decision helps most for splitters: candidates who have one number (LSAT or GPA) at or above a school’s median and the other below.

All,
I've been obsessing over the my law school decision letters and received my first rejection the other day. I studied for the LSAT for nearly three years on and off with a full time job, and I took the exam 3 times. I'm ready to move on, but it's just been a painful process and even more anxiety-inducing as I'm waiting.
Any advice on how to deal with the anxiety and defeated feelings?
Does anyone know if T14 schools view the recommendation letters from tenured professors more positively than non-tenured/junior/assistant professors? Or, would they focus on the content of the letters? Would a solid letter from a tenured professor 'look better' than a solid letter from a non-tenured professor? I'm assuming that these schools have a similar method in weighing the letters.
Hello,
I emailed a couple of schools asking for fee waivers in November and some of them said that they needed my LSAC GPA to grant me one. My transcripts just got evaluated and since I am an international applicant, I did not get a GPA but a vague ranking (superior). Should I follow up on this and ask for a fee waiver again with this information?
Thank you!
I applied to WashU back in mid-October. It was kind of a reach school for me, so I was not necessarily expecting a quick invite for an interview. However, it has been over three months since I have applied, and I have heard nothing. I'm assuming it's a likely denial but am confused as to what is taking so long to tell me no. The status tracker indicates that they have received all of my documents but says nothing else regarding the status of my application. Is this typical?
Does anyone have any tips for MSS?
Everything I've read through just doesn't seem to click and I keep getting these type of questions wrong :( I'm aware that they are similar to MBT but with a lower degree of certainty needed.
Hey.
I was recently accepted into Georgetown Law ED. I was just wondering if there is a template, guide, or how-to on how to approach withdrawing from the other law schools I have applied to.
Also, do I have to withdraw all of my other applications by a certain time?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Ok, so I just got done doing the CC on MBT questions and had a few questions...
The AC can be derived from any conditional from within the stimulus, correct?
Would it be wise to ignore any signs of argumentation in these and strictly diagram them?
Is conditional logic alone sufficient for solving all of these problems?
New to 7Sage and need advice, considering ditching other LSAT course. Preparing for March 2019 LSAT.
#help
I could really use some advice. I'm currently enrolled in the Blueprint LSAT classroom course originally meant for the upcoming January 2019 LSAT which I have since postponed to March 2019. I've been attending these classes religiously and have been studying full-time for the LSAT for the past 6 weeks. I've got two classes and two PTs with them left but my lack of improvement has got me desperately searching for answers on the best plan of attack from now until my new test date. My original diagnostic at the start of their course was 152 and my best PT is just a 3 point improvement of 155 which is far from my goal of 165+. With only two weeks left with them and only a little over two months until my test, I'm wondering if I should ditch them now and go for 7Sage or just commit to Blueprint's course, finish up and practice their methods until test date. I'm sure most of you are probably not familiar with their approach but I guess I'm more curious on whether two months of full-time studying with 7Sage would be enough to attain my goal of 165+, or whether that time would be better spent practicing what I've already learned from the other guys. I'm also curious if my time with Blueprint might help me get through 7Sage's curriculum faster or if I'd just be starting over from scratch. I just signed up for the trial course and from the get-go it's telling me that 3 months is not enough. Unfortunately, I intend on attending law school this Fall so the March 2019 test is my last shot, meaning I've only got a little over two months left to prepare. If 7Sage is still worth it in your opinion, which course should I aim for (I was thinking Starter or Premium since I have such little time left)? If there are any former Blueprint(ers?) who are now 7Sage converts, or past/current 7Sage students or even admins that could provide some insight, I'd very much appreciate it.
I've narrowed the choice down to:
CUNY School of Law
Pace University
Fordham Law
I would appreciate any comments on your experience(s) at the above testing centers! Trying not to think about how my testing site choice will determine if I get paper or digital test.....
