Looks like I'm going to have to depend on negation to answer these NA questions.
Yes, I really need to start doing this!
Very satisfied and feeling confident in my understanding of most of the concepts. Thank you!
Love when JY said weakening is to "punch the argument in the face", lol.
It took me 30 seconds longer to get this correct because I couldn't understand what "customer goodwill" meant in this context, lol.
I eliminated A on shallow dip because it said "can never be accurate", which seemed pretty strong worded to me compared to the stimulus which says "would be misleading".
This was the easiest question ever. Shallow dip all the way!
I got this correct by looking at the conclusion in the stimulus and matching it to conclusions of the answer choices.
Kevin's explanations have been more helpful to me. I was seriously struggling with this section until I listened to his explanations. I like how he breaks down the concepts and explains why each answer is right or wrong. I'm now feeling more confident that I can answer these questions correctly.
This one seemed too easy that I almost second-guessed myself.
Using the shallow dip technique has really helped me get most of these questions right.
JY's discussion about true/false positives and negatives took me back to my Biostats course in grad school, lol.
I tried the sequential approach first, then came to the split approach. What's interesting is that I found this question a bit difficult using the sequential approach. But after watching this video I now see how I could've eliminated more choices using the split approach and eventually narrowed it down to the correct answer.
I missed the "theory" in D.
Wow, I was skeptical of this approach at first. But I'm starting to see the advantages!
I read A several times and couldn't make sense of it, so I gave up and ruled it out, ugh.
I got it correct, but only after using POE. I wasn't confident in choosing E because it didn't fit perfectly with the answer I had in mind. Definitely need more practice!
I really love this overview/refresher!
Got this right on first instinct but took 30 seconds longer to review the passage and make sure the other answers were for sure wrong.
