Hi! I am just now starting 7sage live and I am working through the foundations part of my study plan. Does anyone have any recommendations and how to go about which live classes to watch? I feel like there is so much I have no clue where to even start.
So far I am having troubles with assumptions in arguments, it is still just in the beginning but I didn't know if there are any sessions on that?

Hello!
I'm studying for the LSAT right now, but to give myself some understanding on the importance of my LSAT score, I thought I would ask this question: How Important is my LSAT Score?
For context, I did my 4 year undergraduate degree in the UK. I took some summer classes at US universities, but those grade outcomes did not impact my 4 year undergraduate degree. I graduated my university with a First Class Honours.
Obviously, I don't expect LSAC or law schools to understand what "First Class Honours" means or why I don't have a GPA. But, if I read correctly, LSAC does rank me in the general GPA scale somewhere between "Superior" and "Above Average".
Now, given these circumstances, how important is my LSAT score then? If I want to increase my chances at T25, does that mean I need to really go high to achieve a high score? Will law schools emphasise the LSAT score over my near-inexistent GPA?
If anyone has any experience with this or knows something, it would be greatly appreciated! I'd like to use this knowledge as another motivation for me to work even harder in LSAT prep.
Thank you!!
Hey y'all,
I'd like to request a feature. I recently got destroyed by a single passage in RC and wanted to ask "What if I got them all correct instead?"
LSAT Demon has a score calculator but 7Sage doesn't. I'd love some "What if" tools in analytics to explore implications and have it recalculate my score.
HI all! I recently got my October LSAT score, and I got a 165. I am pleased with this score, as I know it is a great score, but I think for the schools I want to go to, I need a little higher. I am signed up to take the November LSAT in about two weeks, and I want to know if it is a realistic goal to want a 167 on this upcoming test. My goal going into all of this was a 170, but I think two weeks out, that is too much, and I have a really strong GPA and URM, so I think I can lower my goal to 167. Is this realistic tho? For two weeks? 165 -> 167? Does anyone have any last-minute tips? I have been in a mid 160s plateau for some time now and i need the extra two points.
Anything helps!
Hello! I wanted to ask how do you guys do drilling, and how many questions should I do for drilling? It would mean a lot thank you!
I logged on for the Free Conditional Reasoning class, and it appears the instructor is just about to start a different class that is behind the higher subscription pay wall. I'm assuming maybe it's because not enough people RSVP'd for mine? Just wondering if this is a common occurrence before I change my schedule to join a Live Class again.

Hello everyone, I recently paused my Live subscription prior to my second payment because I was unsure if I would renew. I have not had access because my month of subscription ran out so everything has been moved to free. However, when I hit downgrade to the Core subscription it says that it will come into effect on November 25th when my live subscription is up. However, I do not have any live subscription now because it ran out. Does anyone have any information on how I can resolve the issue? Thank you.
So I went to for the October LSA and it’s safe to say that I did horrible on it i got a 133 and I need at-least to a 150 to get into my school I’m feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to start and how to get myself prepared for the January lsat!
I am so frustrated and confused. I scored a 168 in June and since have consistently scored 170-174 on practice tests. However, both the August and October tests I scored 164. This makes no sense to me- are the currently released practice tests outdated? I have anxiety but not enough that it could be explained entirely by that. What is going on??
Hello guys! I am planning to apply by the end of November for this law school cycle and I am feeling very stressed about my personal statement. I think I have done at least 5 drafts and I still don't think its good enough. Is there any life changing advice you all were given that you think would help me?
For some context, my most recent draft discusses about my reason why through some experiences. I start off with the concept of what it means to be the "best" and use that throughout my essay. I use some experiences, being diagnoised with ADHD as well to show my reslience and self critisim. I make sure to connect these experiences throughout my life to larger systematic structures Ive started to notice in society. I also mentioned my internship in New Zealand, and some orgs at my college I was involved in which reflected on how I began to see how systems in law reflect and reinforce those social hierarchies. My essay focuses on how these realizations inspired me to study law to deepen my understanding of how societal systems function and how they can be changed as well.
I feel like this is too much or that I need to change something. I would greatly appreciate any support and help!
Hi friends, my LSAT score fears came true. After 15 weeks of studying and averaging a 165 (scores ranging from 164-170 with a diagnostic of 157), I scored a 158 on the real thing. I was honestly expecting a 160 as I was trying to keep my expectations low, and boy was I shocked! I felt calm and collected during my exam and everything felt normal. I am genuinely confused.
My main issue is that I have taken the LSAT a whopping 3 times before this Oct exam. I took a new approach this year and was finally scoring near my goal (165). I thought this time would be different. Do I dare take it a 5th time? Feeling embarrassed to ask.
Finally, as some background. My goal school admits around 162-168. So, I am very close.
Finished Core Curriculum about a month ago and haven’t touched LSAT stuff since. I’ve got my first PT scheduled in two days and not sure what I should do to get back into the right mindset.
Should I review some fundamentals (LR question types, reading comp timing) or just go straight into the PT cold to see where I’m at after the break?
Also, any tips for easing back into studying after some time off? I don’t want to burn out right before I start back up again.
Hi all! Feeling kind of frustrated and down because I'm seeing/hearing about all these people getting 180s on the October 2025 LSAT and it was disproportionately hard for me. I'd been PTing and drilling and consistently getting 173s and up and had almost a 10 point decrease. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and how they addressed it/thoughts on possible explanations for such a massive discrepancy.
Note: this is not my first test administration and I typically test SUPER well! So very very confused haha.
Hi! I was planning on taking the November LSAT and applying for law schools next cycle. I honestly was thinking of the November one as more of a preliminary/trial run to see how I do. My goal is above a 173 long term, so I was thinking of taking it again in the spring.
BUT my cousin recently told me that some schools, specifically T14 schools, will average out your LSAT scores or at least take them into consideration. I am averaging out at a 164 on practice exams right now. Is this true that they average/care about ALL your scores??? If so, should I just withdraw from November LSAT and/or reschedule for January so I can possibly get a better score the first time around?
Other info: 3.87 GPA from Penn, class of 2023, looking at T14 schools
Hi all! Just got my October LSAT results and am super displease - I've been PTing 173 and up across 7Sage and LawHub (for the test platform experience) and got a 164 on the exam. This isn't my first time taking the exam and though my scores have consistently gone up, I know I have the ability to get a better score and am thinking of retesting in January.
My question is whether or not I should apply for the 2026 cycle. I have a couple T14s on my school list and the rest are Tier 1s, so almost every school on my app list is now a reach. I have a very strong GPA (3.98/4.00) and diverse experiences reflected in my statements and resume, so I'm trying to figure out what the odds are of me getting in. I know any point increase on another test would increase scholarship but I'm worried that delaying my application from November to end of January will lower my chances of acceptance and merit aid. Thoughts??
Hi friends. I took the LSATS in August and got a 146. I studied for two straight months aggressively, retook it in October and got a 148. I'm extremely discouraged. I plan to take it again in January and apply for Fall 2026. Any advice when discouraged?
Does anyone have any insight or advice on whether or not its a good idea to cancel your score? My previous undergrad advisor said not to cancel your score unless you absolutely flopped the test. I took the October LSAT and had some personal matters come up unexpectedly the day before. I don't think I realized how much it would subconsciously affect me and my score went down two points from my previous score last fall cycle. Is that a reason to cancel my score or maybe just write about my circumstances in an addendum?
I'm taking the November LSAT and plan to do better on that one.
Hello - this is a miserable cry for help after scoring very low in the recent PTs. I am planning to take the Nov LSAT in 2 weeks, and I am nowhere near my score, after studying for 5 months.
I am a student with average timed PT score of 156-159 (I have only one time reached 160, which was my highest). I have started studying for LSAT from this June (though was quite light on it throughout July), then started really working in August. On average, I studied about 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week.
For 3 months, I've been doing either an LR section or an RC section per day, with one PT a week. For PTs, I always did blind review (which gave me around 167). For every question that I get wrong, I would thoroughly describe it in my wrong answer journal (so far have 700 questions written in WAJ).
The problem is, I've been focusing on PT 120 - 140s, and have just moved onto doing PT 150s, and I've been consistently scoring 156, from my usual score of 159 in the previous older PTs. I am aiming for a score of 166, and I am 10 points away, which is quite huge.
I am so frustrated to not see any improvements, and I am lacking self-esteem at this point. I usually do much better at LR than RC. I have trouble understanding the overall context in RC, as English is my second language, and this has also been destroying my confidence.
Are there any tips on how I should study for the next 2 weeks? I tend to be failing in various types of questions so I don't even know where to start drilling from, or how I should drill (and would drilling help in the 2-week timeframe?) If I fail the Nov exam, I am planning to take the January exam, but I honestly don't know if I could increase my score by then as well... I just feel so stupid.
Hello everyone! My name is Gody. I’m from DC, and I plan on taking the LSAT in February. If anyone is interested in studying together, please let me know.
I am wondering if anyone knows how Columbia views ED applicants, more specifically how it may impact one's chance of giving in I will applying with my 170, and a 3.93 GPA. Columbia's medians are 173 and 3.92.
Also, I am wondering if I do choose to ED-- whether I should write my essays differently/ explain why I chose to ED Columbia specifically
hey yall. so i think i waited too long to register for the remote test. the email says registration doesn't close until sunday, in one week, but there are no available times for any testing day.
anyone have experience with this? i called prometric and they said they'd be releasing more times tomorrow but i couldn't get any more information, just a suggestion to keep checking. which will work great as i'm at work for 10+ hours tomorrow.
i got a feeling i was just getting the brush off from prometric. so i'm wondering, has anyone been in my position? do they indeed release more available times or was that just to get me off the phone? how often should i be checking the scheduler? any advice in general?
important edit 10/27 10:13am
this morning I set up a thirty minute timer to check for more availabilities and sure enough after a couple tries i snagged my ideal time and date for a remote test.
so yes to answer my own question: keep trying!
I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to approach the test. I am horrible at test taking and get really nervous. I want to take my LSAT in 2026 before the summer and want to score above a 160 and I scored a 155 on a practice. But with the dates approaching I hit a slump and have been missing questions I would normally get correct.
I think its the nerves of taking the exam and getting it out the way but I was wondering if people had advice on how to deal with this and or test taking advice in general.
I would appreciate any help
